In my opinion, Thamuz Kai skin is the best 10th draw guaranteed collab skin. It's so satisfying to play with the new thamuz skin. The sound effects, animations, the voice lines etc. It's so good
@@minetastic6092the recent guaranteed collab skin was Saint Seiya and Kung Fu Panda. After that, they never really give any free guaranteed skin in particular, and I think it will continue going like this in the future.

@raynalldoprime Yeah I think heroes with some range like X Borg and Guinevere do well into him. Although he does fall off late game due to his damage being mostly single target and his lack of strong CC which does prevents him from stuff like jungling or chasing.
The only problem with thamuz is his very limited range ang mobility, which got countered by fast heroes like cici. But in closed combat, hes a monster.
heroes like dyroth can also counter him, because his 2nd is so low, dyroth can just wait ulti thamuz' ulti or vengance off then he can continue attacking him, without his ulti thamuz isn't that strong against dyroth without his ulti
@@irun_monif the thamiz player is smart enough ti adapt. He'll play around with teammates support to make dyroth approach harder. overall, best coutner for thamuz is domiance
Thamuz in exp is a zone monster. He can literally sustain against 5 heroes with ult+vengeance giving time to his allies to get objectives or to back up
For me, his main issue is MLBB's sometimes inconsistent targeting when spamming basic atks, which can costs his lives during crucial moments. I've had numerous moments where i ended up chasing the wrong targets after my targets used their dash/blink skills
He can straight up cut lanes/freeze the minions at the start of the game. Literally S-tier at zoning and pretty good at cutting lanes. So far the only hero he struggled against is freya and jawhead(only at the early game). The others are either 50/50 or getting completely bamboolized. Coming from a Thamuz main(although i rarely play him now)
@@thesamurai2646 What about against trade-heavy heroes such as Yuzhong or Uranus ? In most of my games trying him, i always struggle against poke dmg that chipped my HP down bit by bit, forcing me to retreat when an early game fight happen (1st turtle fight, lane ganks, etc)
@@kennadrian673 just because exp laner doesn't mean that you just stay in lane, cast skills and use basic attacks like your mother. For God sake even in game it requires brain so if you're using lapu make sure to make your bar red by casting first skill or basic attacks after level 4 lapu can kill thamus even if he use vengeance. Honestly judging by your name and profile I don't think you're a fighter user. You're either gay Or a woman also judging by the way you reply you probably have skill issue
The thing is Thamuz doesn't have easy access to backline and having a hard time with hard cc composition. Even Uranus will give him a hard time, Thamuz's weaknesses is a mobile hero
Ngl loved using that guy. Easy to use, great at zoning, good sustain, good damage and..... to induce "lason" Thamuz PTSD caused by Flap to the enemies.
Same problem tho I stopped using him just because the lack of damage output and easily being KS'd by your teammates which is became harder to survive from unexpected ambushes

I Main Thamuz here but i could point out some things you could do. You see in some matches i have, i have to deal with sometimes fast mobility heroes or mm that have dashes to get away safely. For me i save up my 2nd skill just so that i can escape or still get close. Like for Yi sun shin, i just walk up to him with enchanced ba (basic attack) ready and my 2nd skill ready just so i can escape or follow up on his dash. What i like about his playstyle is that he can also act like a tank or 2nd tank. What i do here is try to be a distraction for the enemy team like targeting the back lines first, because they are the ones doing damage while their roam tries to help them or do a set on my team. The result is them being distracted to me while im doing damage and their roamer being killed off. (Edit: Also 2nd skill is free real estate for an enemy hero without mobility or stun,, or if you have build defense items for them while they are only alone)
Mainly because he's not completely skill-based hero like many other fighters. On top of that, since his dmg are mostly DoT / sustained DPS, the heal he'll get from spellvamp is going to be barely noticeable
Most players don't need War Axe (I know War Axe + Brute Force is a great combo since not only it gives out additional true damage, but also synergizes well with his ultimate since both War Axe and Brute Force have HP thus higher HP regen and aids with his mobility but players rather have ATK SPD than additional true damage + mobility) or Bloodlust Axe (since it doesn't have a real passive) so they prefer slapping at least 1 ATK SPD item to Thamuz's build (Corrosion Scythe).
Ngl Thamus is very underrated. He has everything in his exp kit dmg, sustain, push ability, and fair mobility the only thing he doesn't have is cc. The new fighter emblem gives him the sutain he needs. Although he is a great hero I don't see many good thamuz players I'd like to share my 3 builds For tank jungle Magic Boots, War axe, cursed helm, guardian helm, thunderbelt, and oracle All around build Magic Boots, Corrosion, war axe, brute force, oracle, dominace 1v1 build Boots, trinity build, and the rest is defence. Thamuz weakness is high mobility hero's and cc, i suggest building a lot of resilience. Hope this helps!
In my case, its astounding that I observed a lot of players who uses Thamuz doesn't know that when the 1st skill is thrown and use 2nd skill will reset the 1st skill's cooldown.
@@patricknotstar176no no no no you got it wrong, it doesn't reset if it comes on its own: If you go for 1-1 you will end up with 3s cd(or 2 if you go for a cdr build) If you go for 1-2 your cd of the first skill will be 0, hence why Thamuz's combo is 1st-2nd-ba-1st-1st-ba
Thamuz is still a good pick for this meta, but he has a hard time getting in and out of diving the backlines which Cici, Yu Zhong, Uranus and Esmeralda can do well, and in general, his mobility is not as good compared to fast heroes like Cici and Esmeralda and heroes who can constantly slow, stun or immobilize the enemies like Valir, Yve, Lylia or Xavier can give Thamuz a hard time
I used to hate to fight against terizla in exp lane up until i played thamuz one time in classic and i realized that thmauz could handle terizla so easily😂
@@Valome_Virtual_Gravedigger hahahaha no, it doesn't provide only hp and regen, it also provides aoe damage (not great) and attack speed, with corrosion scythe alone his ult gives him 3.00 attack speed (the max without golden stuff and inspire) I wouldn't mind having cc immunity but are you sure?
I always wondered how thamuz users just easily got triple kill or maniac, have i’ve been using him wrong?, i don’t get it how they did not get slowed and attacked from ranged heroes immediately, is there a combo where thamuz can keep his enemy in his range?
Yu zhong can still beat him tho i had 3 games on RG yesterday with YZ and enemy xp laners keep non picking Thamuz and i got them all 0-5 in the first 7 mins💀 but when enemy team picks zilong/Freya this is where i use Thamuz.
The shitty things about him is his rng passive, basically luck can swing both side and i really dont like leaving my results to just luck. Then his ult, i wish it can be casted even with cc'd cause so many times when people just chain cc me to death, i can put up vengeance but i can never use ult with it, thats a 1000 hp that i shoudlve have, even for a bit of hp if i survive i can sustain it back
@@asdgdsfgdg7268 thamus isn't easy to kill. He can go tank build and deal massive damage. A decent good placer of thamus vs a decent good player of argus is easily winning by thamus. Argus is good against heroes who have no sustain. I always pick hilda vs argus and I dominate him with ease. Thamus alone is strong and sustainable. Argus has been falling off recently
@@pigbenis5295 indeed, argus has been falling off. His damage has lowered. He has very weak hp and no defence. So just wait for his ult to be over and he's weaker than paper. Thanus has so much defence and slow that it's impossible to beat him 1v1
Mostly I use sustain items like only waraxe for a damage the rest is full defense and also I use orcale to boost out his heal. But when it comes to 1 vs 1 I use trinity build Thamuz attack speed goes to 5.00 the highest attack speed in the game when using Golden staff also the other two items plus his ult.
I'll be honest, ever since his rework I've always advocated that they'd change his passive to "every 3rd basic attack" (just like Dyrroth, which, guess what, would also makes sense canonically) instead of "a random fucking chance to trigger" because when paired with even just Corrosion Scythe you get to stupid stuff like a 45% slow every .3 seconds which is followed by a barrage of unavoidable bursts of True Damage (and then he just goes an build full tank, not like he needs any other damage source). Don't get me wrong, Thamuz is hardly the most unbalanced hero out there, but his skillset design is borderline bs.
Thamuz is a great early game hero, but his late game falls off severely, even his mid game becomes challenging. Lack of fast damage output means almost all of your late game kills will get KSed. He is slow, as such he can't close distance with long range heroes. He can tank but not for eternity ofcourse. Plus he doesn't even have CC immunity. Which makes Valir perfect counter for him. He can just stand back and keep frying your balls with his balls. The CC and push back are hard to deal with. The ult doesn't help either.
He's really good in close combat situations and possibly against 2-3 enemies but he's held back by his lack of AoE skills and limited mobility. I use him a lot if the enemies don't have much cc's or long range heroes
Long time user here. I can say he needs a rework of his 2nd skill its dog sht as just a slow. He's easily kited even with advanced movement speed from first. With all the flickers and blink skills. The skill needs to change to a knockup or a small stun. I'd be willing to reduce dmg or get rid of the speed boost on skill 1 to balance it.
Just dont fight him Head on. Poke and run, when he use his ult. Run. Just deal damage from a distance. And proper itemization is really important. Benedetta is a good counter and valir also.
I have early game advantage with leomord against most thamuz players, since leo can poke thamuz out. (Good thamuz players can even-out and some can even outplay me). Midgame it becomes pretty even, with late game favoring thamuz already. Still, I find this early game window to be enough to create a winning advantage for the team.
I just pick Helios and go full mana more for more hp plus healing reduction and burning wand and blade armor. Havent lost to a thamuz using helios thats stacks damage burn and over auto 10k hp
@@wisely8452it mostly comes down to player and item blade armor+vengeance could be lethal to Freya but a good Freya player might be able to beat thamuz
I'm main Thamuz, I really like this hero, I have more than 2k pt with him, I'm a mono hero hahaha, he's the main hero who only takes me mythical, he could receive a buff that would make him stronger
A good Thamuz player is an absolute nightmare for anyone who faces him. Fortunately, there are not too many pro Thamuz out there, or exp lane would be hell.
I would say masha is scarier and its great that many players dont use her as shes underrated and never been ban plus masha can easily melt thamuz been using her and see many use thamuz to counter her but ends up being a fodder for her she helps me climb up rank easily
@@Tintatters yeah once cici runs out of her sprint spell her own passive speed cant outrun masha speed with corrosion scythe been able to fight a good cici but late game she still melts
@@Tintatters Masha will just be kited by Cici Even with Corrosion Scythe, Masha just can't keep up with Cici's movement speed Tried it, had a hard time chasing Cici as Masha but whenever I manage to catch her, I can delete her HP up to 10% but I lack the finishing touch as she can kill me if I chase her further
Thamuz and Alice is so similar to each other ngl. I find Thamuz to be easier to use but then again for me Alice is better in teamfight. Idk what i did wrong with Thamuz 💀
I countered a Thamuz with my X.borg, it was very efficient. I kept harassing him with the 1st skill (bro even wasted his vengeance) and made him switch lanes therefore a huge lvl gap between me (Lvl 11) and thamuz (Lvl 8) in mid-late game.
lmao I've been using thamuz ever since it came out, i was one of the first ever used corosion scythe and I've been bashed for it. he is always a S tier exp lane
Used to slap Corrosion Scythe most of the time on Thamuz but since the new changes of War Axe + Brute Force, I decided to cut Corrosion Scythe and replace it with War Axe + Brute Force for extra sustain, damage and mobility.
@@alemansprototypeguy since the new changes I still use corrosion scythe but my first item is war axe since the stacking dmg and added health. as for bruteforce it is situational since the bruteforce got nerf as well as the queen's wings
@@anathemise Can't consider the changes of Brute Force as a nerf since Brute Force still has movement speed bonus but this time, it provides offense (6 hybrid ATK per stack) and what's more, RESILIENCE.
Thamuz hurts so much more now than he did before, with DPS items he just spams true damage. In the previous version of Thamuz his enhanced basic attack can only be used once he retrieves his scythe from the first skill and you have to manually walk to get the scythes back which is a lot of hassle when you get cc'd away from your scythes.
I would not recommend war axe for thamus to be first item My build goes like this : Sea helberg, warrior / tough boots, blood axe, queens wing, oracle, war axe
Whenever I see enemy picking thamuz, I just go for benedetta. Lol just keep poking thamuz until he's dead. He has no mobility so he can't even catch up.
Is Thamuz balanced or OP? It's like Thamuz can have a standoff to any Exp Lane fighters. He's got both durability, regeneration, move speed, slow, and small CC.
Imo he is a little op, if he can get in the middle of the enemies he is almost impossible to stop if his allies back him up but that's his biggest issue if ur allies don't follow up you'll get shredded too fast
Balanced. Despite him being an "lason" fighter, Valir, assassins and even certain fighters (ehem ehem, Chou that's tanky and agile at the same time and can also kick Thamuz to the opposite direction) can kite him.
Cici kinda wrecks him right now, her 1st skill cooldown is just too damn low. The constant damage and innate sustain is really hard to get around especially since the skill is an auto-attack.
To beat Cici you need to use the minions to your advantage. It's either you or them for her 1st skill, so if you can clear the waves faster than her you can attack her and lower her hp.
@@christinehernandez1980 you sure buddy. Cici can kite thamuz and chip away his hp. I know thamuz has good chasing capability but he is not good against too mobile heros.

I gotta admit, Phoveus is pretty strong, he's got a higher chance winning against Thamuz. Other than that, I also smile when I see a Phoveus, perhaps because of how long the fight last?
