Your videos are always very infomative but your video quality is very poor, I think the ambient light should be increased for video and the camera quality should also be improved a bit

Just put ur multimeter positive prob on switching mosfet and see if voltage is present and study then switching hot genrated If the voltage look like not have on mosfet switching is working
thank you for your valuable information. i have a one doubt. we have one ups in icu central monitor and it is not working . when i was open to check inside the ups. battery is 4v only but battery voltage is 12v. board looks like good no burning or defective component. when i connect ac power, cumming sound come inside transformer. after removing battery the cumming sound is disable. is there any ideal about this

Excellent as always! Very informative. There are a lot of variations in meters and I've notice some of mine don't like switch mode frequencies. You've got mean concerned now about the gate signal and damaging the mosfet with the input capacitance of the meter. Is there a fail safe way to check this? I've noticed you check it at the output of the ic, so is it safer to check the signal there because of the resistor before the gate, of can we put a resistor and/ or a capacitor in series with the meter lead to avoid damage to the mosfet? I don't often ask, but I think it would be worth doing a video on this. Thank you and have a great day!

I noticed that most of the uc384xxx the comp pin is connected to pin 2 through resistor and capacitor and the opto-coupler is connected to comp pin to ground. Kindly explain the reason for that and how to calculate the resistor and capacitor value for the compensation

I'd only add one thing to your warning which comes on the very beginning on every video of yours is "Always use isolation transformer, during tests on switching power supply", but, that's just me. If they never do any experiment, they can't get ever any practical experience.
