I went to Stranraer v Bonnyrigg Rose in SPFL League 2 at Stair Park. My Social Media: INSTAGRAM: / footy.adventures TWITTER: / the_sam_north #scotland #football #spfl
Hey I’m the spurs/ Bonnyrigg fan you interviewed at the end of match was great meeting you . I’m planning on visiting all 78 of Scottish grounds inc lowland and highland I’m up to 44 now so our paths may cross again take care 👍🏴
I'm just Scottish football curious 😜, but love this channel. As a Leeds Utd, fan I had the pleasure of watching some of the best Scottish players live in the 70's
Thanks so much for covering my beloved Stranraer again and hope you enjoyed the game. Loved the informative video although the last minute penalty hurt. Shame there were not more supporters. Did you know that Stranraer are Scotland's third oldest team after Queen's Park and Kilmarnock?
Sorry to be pedantic but ferry departs from Cairnryan not Stranraer. This was a sore point for Stranraer folk as Stranraer lost the ferry service to N. Ireland a number of years ago and the town suffered as a result. BTW great video. Keep up the good work.
Good video Sam. I'm in Scotland for the rugby in Nov against All Blacks and I'm looking for a game the previous day. Quite tempted to go to Forfar v Bonnyrigg on the strength of that away support. I'll get to Stranraer at some point too. Keep up the good work mate.
Do it, Bonnyrigg are a great team. I watched them get promoted at Cowdenbeath last season they took 3,000 away fans that day great supported club . I’m English and ground hopping all 78 Scottish grounds inc lowland league n highland league since I moved up to Berwick I’m up to 44 grounds
OMG! I used to listen to Mike McLean. If it is the guy who used to do the overnight show and people used pseudonym instead of real name. I met a lot of nice people through his show. Many thanks Mike good to know your still around.
Mike still lives in Glasgow. Does the itsnoeasy podcast for the club and works part time for paisleyfm. He has worked for other central belt radio stations. Drinks at the Black Bull in high street.
Just want to show this channel some love. I'm working my way through your videos and, maybe as a result of that, starting to develop a massive interest in lower league Scottish football. Normally, I'm a Notts County supporter, so the comments early in this video about it being 'real' football really resonated with me.
Amazing video as always really funny you were there as my old boy was telling me bonnyrigg had a 3 hour trek and I was like what from edinburgh to glasgow and was told I'm a clown but total respect to these fans that support their local teams!!👏
Really good video, you captured the whole matchday experience at Stair Park from all sides of the ground and with enjoyable chats from the Chairman down to the wee lads in their Rangers & Celtic shirts ... as always ! Gold star for taking on that bloody long drive too, never to be underestimated that one !!
Quality as ever Sam, my footballing double header was full of goals, Friday went to see Man Utd v Crystal Palace U21s in Premier League 2, free tickets which Palace won 5-1, not good for a United fan like me lol, then yesterday watched Atherton LR v Pilkington in the North West Counties Lg1 North which the away side won 6-1. Plenty goals in two days!
Sam try doing the 42 ground with one team I am an Arbroath fan except Cove and Kelty and lesser Hampden I have seen Arbroath on every ground about 16 ground that are no longer saw Arbroath at Cove's old ground and 10 English grounds in pre season friendlies think I have seen Arbroath at about 79 grounds enjoy the videos
🇨🇦Lol no complaining Sam! Maybe put a pick of the map and show where u are or show where you are travelling to and from. Family is from Annan miss Scotland all the time, what you do is fantastic keep it up. Can’t wait to be back some day and go to more games.
Great vlog again. But the best was the boy in the Celtic shirt. Brave to be there in a Celtic shirt surrounded by three lads in a Rangers shirt. I know that they are still little boys and probably also friends, but it still took courage and the boy has a thumbs up from me. Also for the fact that he goes his own way, even if his friends think otherwise.
I used to love the idea of the ‘Border TV Derby’; Stranraer vs Berwick Rangers! Bonnyrigg certainly have some great support. I like that hooped Stranraer away short. Good badge also.
Hi m8 i watch your videos all the time im from irvine its the marymass derby on friday night a good game to video i know have been to irvine but its the marymass derby m8
Loch Ness shirt looking good in the background there pal be brilliant if they could become pro and have their own Home near Loch Ness one day you say it I'm sure amazing branding they have there I think they would be everybody 2nd Scottish Team if they could ever get promoted to the bigger Leagues one day!
7 mins? Extra time is getting ridiculous these days, I remember when 3 min was a lot, 4 min was pushing it, 5 if there was a major incident, but nowadays 5 min is the norm, but 7, come on that's the new Major incident time....was there? lol 🤣
I was getting my hopes up that he would be heading for the boat over for the first ever sunday game in the irish league today Linfield Vs Portadown. Then he said he was off to Killie ffs 🤣
