I am proof you can do this yourself by watching these videos. Ben is a wealth of knowledge and practical advice. Invest in a good torque wrench, dental pics, hand press, cleaners and brushes, lint free towels, and go to town. Nice to haves would be battery tools, steel table (I used a steel oil change pan). You'll spend a lot of time cleaning.
Isn't a good idea to pull the plugs and valve then polish the bores to ensure things are squeaky clean? Great videos on the BAXA. I will be following this like to the letter when I get around to rebuilding mine.
Yes definitely you don't usually see valve issues on the baxa maxa unless it extremely overheated You see a lot of valve body issues on the Honda Odyssey and Acura TLs
I wonder if using a drill press could help installing the pistons/springs on those 2 accumulators? I suppose an extra set of hands would still be necessary.
