I have the same jeep, same year and same color 😆. I only have 122k on mine but have experienced a lot of knocking in the front end when going over rough roads/ potholes. I have new shocks too. I think this might be the issue. Thank you for this video.

Lift the axle by the steering stabilizer mount. It rotates back into place perfectly, no loosening or taking anything else off.

That death wobble is such a pain in the ass. My dodge ram has it too... Changed pretty much everything and still have it... Still don't know if I'd trade it for a bronco lol. Great vid again!

Good video 👍. Their is a much simpler method of lining up the holes when reinstalling you control arms. That is by using a (heavy duty) ratchet strap on the control arm bracket @ axle to the transmission crossmember on passenger side. The higher you place the strap on the bracket the better it will twist the axle this will help line the holes up much faster. You won't even need a alignment punch with this method. Helps with initial removal as well.

Are the part numbers u provided to the driver and passenger side and which is which i typed in amazon what you put in your comments one comes up omix ada 15 dollars and the other is mopar is sixty are those the correct ones

I recently bought a 96 grand cherokee limited and it sways back and forth in while driving down the road. It's really scary to drive. I've replaced the steering shaft, steering box, pitman arm, tie rods, track bar, sway bar bushings and links, lower control arms, shock, uppper and lower ball joints, new shocks, tires everything except for the upper controls arms and it's still doing it. I ordered new front uppers, rear upper and lowers, rear track bar and sway bar bushings and links. Man I hope it works.

Why not replace the bushings on the opposite end of the upper control arm?

So basically go to a mechanic because i dont have an old ford bushing laying around that fits onto the metal part or a hand jack hammer etc , looks like it was a pain in the ass for you to do it but luckily had parts laying around and tools most people dont have. Can i do this with a car jack and a socket set and hammer?
