Pay no attention to the Movie Maker water mark. My main program shut down, but wanted to get content out. Quick tutorial on my experience replacing the rusted fuel line on a 06 Silverado using the Dorman Braided Fuel Line Kit. Hopefully this information can help someone out! Doing this job tomorrow, glad I found this video, shop quote was $600 ... No thanks, only problem my kit didn't come with any new O rings, hope I can use old ones

If you're super careful, you should be able to use your factory Orings. I know This isn't the best video, however it gives you some real life insight on the project. Mine to this day is still going strong! Good luck with your project!

Im wondering how much you paid for your kit. Cuz we just ordered some off a site from watching a couple guys here in ohio. Now you saying dorman makes them. But also where's your fuel filter. An did you by pass or not have the flex fuel thing on the frame

I did order mine through dorman from a local parts place. They got the kit for me. In my generation truck (2006) the fuel filter is built into the tank, which is an absolutely horrible design. However up until 2003 (believe) they did have one with the filter in-line like it had been traditionally

I need this line for my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.8 liter. Online parts are saying its not compatible with my Silverado extended cab. My truck looks indentical to yours.

you have to be careful what one you order. crew cab and ext cab are the same due to the same wheelbase. the older ones had a fuel filter inline. if yours has the fuel filter in line, instead of the permanent one I the take like this one, then it's a different one and may have to buy the hard-line version
