As-salaamu Alaykum Mufti sahib, please make more Question and Answers Video because we have none or very few Hanafi Fiqhi Q&A RU-vid channel in English.
literally what I've been looking for. Explaining what not to do, then offering an alternative. So many times, people will tell you what you can't do and just leave it there, which is somewhat unhelpful. Please make more of these vids e.g. on Forex trading or deal-sourcing properties. So many of these methods of income have grey areas which need clarification for the everyday lay person.
Ma sha allah so much value in the video. Problem clearly stated and solution too. There are lot of influencers advertising the conventional way to be halal! we should challenge them.
JZK for the info. What about the multiple hadith in Sahih Bukhari where the 1. Prophet(SAW) allowed paying for dates in advance for a specific quantity and time frame and 2. other narrations of sahaba (Shahi Bukhari) confirming they use to pay for wheat, barley, oil and dried grapes in advance to be delivered later (known as salam).....In drop shipping you know the exact quantity, weight and time of delivery...Can you make another video explaining drop shipping from that perspective.
Assalamualaikum @muftifarazadam Mufti Sahab, you mentioned the Sharia compliant solution but you did not mention how it should be implemented. Do we just need to change our intention? Do we need to make any other changes? For example: 1. do we need to put a disclaimer on our website as a seller? If yes , then what should be the wordings? 2. Do we need to sign a contract with the actual supplier? Please clarify.
What if you have money, order item from your bank account and send to customer? Then accept payment from customer as soon as order confirmed? You stipulate to the customer a estimated delivery time?
Respected Mufti Adam, your solution here is to simply adopt an *intention* to be a marketing/advertising agent? Do you recommend a written statement on the website as a disclaimer to this effect? Otherwise, I reckon, most people would inherently know that they are simply a value-add reseller (VAR) or marketer for the original equipment merchant/owner.
Salam Mufti Sb, we have a small clothing brand. We do not hold inventory. Once we get the order, we ask our merchants to make it and then we dispatch. Is it halal?? More details for reference: All articles have different sizes so we don’t hold all of them, we hold only running stock. But on our website it show all available, though we may not have it in stock.
Assalamualaikum Mufti Saheb, How can we make it into a salam contact? I have read some drop shipping contracts where the actual seller CLEARLY states that you are not working as an agent on their behalf. After that we advise the people to fulfill all the conditions of salam. Perhaps you can cover those please
Wa alaykum salam, even if you make it a Salam, as the seller, you will still need to take possession and risk of the item before passing it on to the customer.
In the Salam contract you will always have to bear the risk automatically as soon as you take the money from them because it is now upon to deliver the item you described to them and you bear the responsibility of anything to do with the item until it is handed to them. As for the issue of taking possession of it from the supplier then it being delivered to a location of your choice that you have instructed the supplier to deliver it to counts as you taking possession of it. If it is presented in the manner of Salam then the Ahadith mentioned in this video would not apply because these ahhadith are specific to بيع عين معينة لا بيع موصوف As for Salam then it would be بيع موصوف
