Our normal tank called out 20 min before invites so i had to quickly get ready to step up to tank. I havent tanked 25 man ICC yet. I however stay ready with my gear sets and specs. Gem and enchanted and kited out in various trims of more dps to less dps and more mitigation. With the 30% buff going its alot easier to get away with less tank mitigation avoidance gear and more dps oriented gear but still maintaining the crit immune cap. I wasnt really ready for the heroic Lich King. I didnt have the seat time needed to properly manage all of the CD needed to not die on him. So we ended up wiping to my deaths, then valks , then defile.

You get up every day and you are entitled to nothing. Nobody owes you anything. You can have talent, and all the skill but if you dont have discipline and you dont execute and focus , you get nothing. If you are complacent and not paying attention, that gets you nothing. Nothing is acceptable but your best. Everything is determined by what you do and you trying to be your best.

on the link to tank-speck, the symbols take a corpse explosion. does bdk have one? And how much sense does it make to take an IT instead of a Pestilence that updates diseases? and the Improved Icy Talons don't take because there's fdk?

That is my Thicc tank spec with full mitigation and max HP and is geared for max survivability. The minor glyph of corpse explosion on the link needs to be changed to blood tap. I take IT instead of the Pestilence because THICK Mitigation Tank has way less threat generation outside of IT spam.

Resilience = Crit Immune - Its a substitution for Defense. Defensive gear typically comes with Defense + Dodge , Parry. In a Parse group with 30% buff you dont need to dodge or parry. Just get crit immune, and the rest stack DMG like Crit, Arp, Exp, Hit.
