99 Restaurant & Pub Massacre - Boston Mob. Gunmen open fire at the 99 Restaurant & Pub, killing 4 men. The victims: Robert Luisi Sr 56, his son, Roman 26, Robert Sarro, 29 and Anthony Pelosi. (1995) For Educational Purposes.
@allanthomas6097 I'm talking in terms of the technology. Back then a TV could've been in the family for 20 or so years, and vhs, tape recorders, all that were used in 85-95. Things def chenagrd but at a much slower pace than today in my opinion, I could be wrong tho fam
Damn. That was about as matter-of-fact as you'll ever see from a guy who knows he's about to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Doesn't seem phased by it one bit.
Great footage, being from Boston , it brings back lots of ole feelings! Knew all the guys involved, some just in passing, some personal. Not sure if I like the law enforcement quote at the time that nobody will be missed ! Leave it to BPD. Boston N.E. 💪 22
If you knew the guys killed then you know they were not well liked at all they bullied a lot of people and I think that's what he meant by nobody will miss them!!
From watching Bobby Luisi's youtube channel and when he talks about this, I don't think there's much love lost between him and his father and half-brother. One thing's for sure, the Italian Mafia ain't what it used to be.
@@AngeloR674 HA! Geez. Where are you living? They've killed each other off like a bunch of disorganized fools. Killing people over stupid shit. You know as well as I do that the Cartels now run the rackets and the drugs. Good riddance to them all. Almost every damn one of them can rot in hell. If you think different, you're a fool.
Carmen DiNunzio is actually still the boss in Boston. He has his HQ in the North End. I’d like to know what they’re up to these days. I live what in Southie now and this neighborhood has changed a lot.
Notice, no “civilians” were hurt, in a crowded restaurant. Where I live, in the Pacific Northwest, multiple innocent people would be dead, when the idiot gang bangers got done. The Italians still know how to handle a beef, among themselves.
It’s worth noting this happened in Charlestown ( an Irish/Italian Neighborhood of Boston). This neighborhood in the 80’s and 90’s was known for two things. Armored Car Robbery and the Code of Silence
Once Raymond Sr. Passed on the Patriarca's just fell apart,(When Death of a Strong Leader Occur's everybody run's around like Ant's), Infighting on who was fit to run the family-Who wasn't it Who Merited/Deserved a Position Flipflopped into an Upside-down Cake Situation.
There you go. They were awful treacherous people but it was contained and controlled pretty much through one family. Now you have a bunch of savages out there who think they're Pablo Escobar and running amok.
@@Frosty98206 no answer well organized. They're compelled by pheromones. Humans are different. Not unlike them but they are different. But you're right. Is awful as these guys were sometimes that continuity that strength and the underworld does make the community better. Because it's going to exist. You're never going to eradicate it. Are the streets any better in this country than they were in the late sixties? No there are just more Jack offs who think they're hard and answer to no one
it was the violence of the era that brought heat. it also alienated the cops who before the fifties could be enticed to look the other way at vice crime.
@@Davidnumber23 I met him when I was a guest of the State he was a very nice guy Vietnam vet as solid as they come. His son called him and said Dad these guys have guns and are threatening to kill us so he went down there and killed them lol
I drove a rig and was delivering a trailer to the recycling plant right behind that restaurant when I saw dozens of police cars heading there, it's crazy how this guy calmly explains the murders, his lawyer must've been 🤨
Hey, that was some interesting footage their my friend. The big guy there, the one that they said was a bully and big mouth, looks just like the actor who played Big Pussy in the Sorpranos.
The killed Bobby Luis Wth you talking about? If you’re talking about his son who goes on RU-vid talking nonsense, remember that Damien’s Clemente was just a kid and he shot the “real” Bobby luisi
@@Maxx_d13 yada yada...if you could comprehend what your reading maybe you would have understood what I was trying to say but your one of those internet big mouths I get it. I'm glad you know everything, next time I need to know ANYTHING, your obviously the man to ask
My uncle was just a customer in the 99 that day. I remember every local news channel calling his house incessantly after this...then showing up at his house. Why tf would cops give out info on witnesses?!? BPD ALWAYS a ShitShow 🤷♀️
They way they keep describing the gun shots, “sounded like balloons popping” “didn’t even sound like a gun.” We’re the guns scilenced you think? Or maybe it was the shock?
So this is that Bobby Luisi guys story. What an insane hit to do just walk in to a crowded restaurant no masks nothing and kill 4 people. And there was off duty cops eating in there at the time. What was the point they basically just through their lives away.
Imagine that, 20 years old catching a quadruple homicide charge. These guys were what they call crash-test dummies. Pissed their lives away for guys that don't give a crap about them.
I hope Bob Luisi is living a good life now but that's who he was and that's who his relatives were and that's what they were doing then, so too bad for the families.
I lived in Charlestown at the time on Cordis like one block away. Brinks trucks also got robbed where the 7-11 is around then. The North End is right over the bridge, you can walk it pretty quick.
I mean if a fight breaks out at a pizza spot they don't close if a fight breaks out on nightclub something it's not crazy its still there it's a business
I remember this it was right down the street from me the Father tried taking the blame for his son and friend they both got life I believe the friend was found not guilty.
I was gonni ask for any further info Even though it's like 25yr later. Charlestown" wasn't that the bank robbery capital of either 🇺🇸 or the world?? I'm sure that's featured in the movie The Town? Ft Jeremy Renner.
That's just a movie. C-town is mostly gentrified by now but there are still townies around my mother and her family are all townies. I will say a lot of guys followed in the footsteps of their fathers and did do banks and armored cars and even in other parts of Boston when you think of Charlestown you think armored trucks
@wchurchillflippingthebird3545 at one point, Charlestown had more bank and armored car robbers per square mile than any were in the country, but Charlestown is also a very small town lol but that era was just about over when this happened Heroin and Oxy ravaged thus town. Now it's full of million dollar brownstones and Yuppies lol
@chuckydall9250 that was a lie from a movie trust me it never had that many bank robbers or armored car groups be tripping over eachother or tellers would recognize you people need to not take things literally
I remember this. I worked in Malden at the time and would take the orange line to work. I remember the community college stop being closed due to "police activity."
Bob Luisi is a good man and has changed his ways , and is giving back the best he can , so I beg to differ the community would miss him, and I’m sure he misses his father at times, these reporters should be ashamed
The way they described Luisi sr. As a bully, mob wannabe and that nobody will miss him him. 🤯 Bobby always talks about he was the boss of Boston…I feel like that’s greatly over exaggerated and he just had a little crew and in his mind he was a boss..I mean he had to go to Philadelphia just to get made. If the Luisi’s had so much pull then why would you need to go to another state to get made even if beef was going on
Bobby Jr never said he was THE boss of Boston. He says he was A boss IN Boston. He was the Philly capo in the Boston area representing Philly LCN interests. That makes him the Philly mob boss in the Boston area. Al Bruno is another example. A western MA/Springfield mob boss who was ultimately just a Genovese capo. But he was their top guy in that area. Carlo Mastrototaro is another example.
His father was a clown. Nobody was running shit over there at this time all the real gangsters had just been locked up so you had guys like his Dad running around acting like they were the Boss he put his hands on the wrong person and the kids father killed them all
@@larryg5698 your point? I wouldnt disagree. I guess what im trying to say is this is what he means when he says he was a boss. Then i gave a few examples of a similar arrangement. Ultimately he's a nobody and a rat who overhypes himself yes.
If you dissect his interviews he says he was supposed to meet with his crew (killers) at 99 but had other arrangements. Also had someone from his crew pick up $ from his pops at the same 99 at the same time. He definitely set that up.
Not the 99!!! The most family friendly restaurant in all the northeast. Kids can even eat free the day after the Sox win. I’m sorry, but in a locally beloved establishment like 9’s you gotta keep it holstered. I can see it happening at a Texas Roadhouse or a TGI Fridays but not inside a restaurant that historically has always been frequented by patrons of the utmost class.
I was stationed at Hanscom when this happened. Always felt safe touring around Boston and the North End. Unfortunately it took several years to get my younger daughter to correctly pronounce the letter R.
Robert Sr I'm sure put a lot of fear into the all you can eat buffets in Boston back then I'm sure those were the only people that really feared him. A bully and a moron plus who can miss a Target like that I mean seriously Stevie Wonder Could Have gunned him down
Amazing how dumb people are. Did they think after they unloaded their guns in a packed restaurant that someone would whip out the clapperboard and say CUT!!??? It really does amaze me.
Seeing as though this incident happened in Charlestown , i remember a time when trying to find a witness was harder than hitting the lottery . Wow, have time's changed . Now , you cant shut people up with what they supposedly had seen . Everybody wants their 15 minutes of fame. The code we used to live by sure does'nt exist anymore . 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️☘
Bobby Jr has his own podcast and it's pretty good, I also hate how the media always mentions the color of the suspect like it fckn matters the color of the skin
If you watch any news broadcast now , if the person responsible for any crime being reported is OBVIOUSLY Black the media REFUSES to report that fact . But if He's WHITE , the media reports it . The WOKE LIBERAL MEDIA control everything now . Yup , time's are changing !!!
