Oh my goodness! My husband & I would both love this place. Our house is from the 1800's too and our basement is the same. You can't stand up without hitting your head. My husband has a collection of those wood planes. I just love that flow blue china. Love all those china cabinets!!! Hi Jeff, hope you weren't hurt too bad by the pillow! lol

I want the house itself! I had my eye on an old house here in my town that a friend grew up in and was all original taken care of. When they sold their jewelry store and moved, the people who bought it ruined it by taking out the curved staircases and putting in a drop ceilings and tore out the built in cabinets, crown molding, and wood floors in the kitchen to make it modern and tacky. I looked at it on Zillow when it went up a few years back and cried! I love big old houses!

What the frogs?! So much great old entirely wonderful antiquities and artiquities and very vintage vestiges of a collector’s life’s work. I hate the thought that anything remotely useable recyclable or historically or artistically significant and unique could go to landfill. That house had a lot of old stuff in there. I saw glass bed pans back in corner. I hope that quilt that was on the floor when you lowered the coke machine wasn’t a good one. They bring big money too. Great job!
