There is definitely more time to be had, I just need to dare to brake later for T1 and trail it in longer. Also had an almost fatal mistake in the last turn where the back started stepping out, but it still ended up being my fastest lap of the day.

love your onboards, great driving. what sort of maintenance or wear has come up after tracking your 997 so often if you don't mind sharing

Thanks! Besides regular service intervals, I tend to do double the oil changes for engine and transmission compared to the recommended. Of course wear and tear items such as tyres and brakes come up more often than with street driving. Finally I opted for some preventative maintenance last year where I had all the engine coolant line connectors redone (a known weak point on this engine). And double finally, I had the car repainted over winter because I was getting fed up with every panel being full of stone chips. With PPF it will hopefully not suffer as much going forward :)
