Those two ladies did well with the gentalman with the Mental health issues. I have worked with mental health people and find give them space and talk to them like they are human helps. I don't like when I see those with mental health being spoken to with yelling, aggressiveness, and thinking they are stupid. These ladies showed him respect even when they needed to be firm with him. Suggest more mental health training for all in Police/Ambulance trainings.

You cant expect them to be experts.....more needs to be invested into mental health to ensure people have places to go when they are unwell. Unfortunately MH care is underfunded and police and ambulance pick up the pieces.

After 25 years I couldn't see myself being anything but a paramedic. You'll be on a learning curve for the rest of your career. Best wishes from Australia.

He needed to be taken by the Police to a place of safety under Section 136 MHA. Paramedics way too vulnerable in this situation.

So strange… why does it seem that strokes are so much more prevalent in the UK than anywhere else???
@motionless_horizon
@motionless_horizon Год назад
I think we just see it more because this show is in the UK. Strokes are incredibly common everywhere

This program is aimed at showing the extremes. You could say according to this show people get in high speed accidents and break their femures all the time too. We are just seeing a very particular point of view. The frequency of any particular injury you see on this show is in no way a real reflection of rates of incidences of certain diseases. I hope that makes sense x

sounds weird but strokes actually do vary in severity sometimes it actually takes quite a while for a stroke to be picked up as their symptoms are minor so a person can present as just generally unwell and not with obvious stroke symptoms especially in elderly people or those with complex health conditions sudden onset of confusion can be a stroke sign even if theres no one sided weakness

Bleeds on the brain can vary greatly in size. So, yes, "slight" or small strokes are indeed possible.

So if So n so is drunk because of their own greed ...some person might need that ambulance to save their life ....its disgraceful using nhs anbulances ...
@lucywing8490
@lucywing8490 Год назад
drunk people may also need an ambulance to save their life, especially if they are young people. alcohol can cause a significant number of issues that need immediate medical attention.
@peterclarke7240
@peterclarke7240 Год назад
Ah yes... Let's extend that logic, shall we? You used to smoke and now have cancer? Your fault You had four kids and nearly died on the fourth one? Your fault. You went out with your mates, and fell down the stairs? Your fault. Where does it stop, you psycho?

Those “waste of time kids” may suffer with alcohol poisoning, being out of their minds with alcohol, are much closer to death because of their drinking.
@stefanieebling2785

Not at all. Young people are significantly at more risk with alcohol than adults. This comment is whats rediculous.
