Over my three years of serious scootering, the Rear Fender bracket broke while riding. Super thin steel bracket broke, dropping my rear fender on my rear wheel. The spinning tire burned through my tail wire, before pulling it from the connector plug. I repaired via soldering the wires, added more protective shrink tubing, and anchored the wires better. Repaired the plug connection. The Bracket I welded both sides, then added a reinforcing strap at the bracket critical area, welded in place.
