+TAOFLEDERMAUS Hahahhaa at first I didn’t get it , then realized what ur talking about , i actually looked them up on google thought maybe they make targets , I was like I have never heard of them hahahahaha
depends on what your intended target is. The extra little bit from the 10mm could definitely come in handy if you are out in Grizzly land!!! More mass + deeper penetration = much more energy transfer into a large animal. But true...i guess its why every military/police chooses the 9mm over the 10mm when it comes to fighting human size targets!
G20 is a canon! It make a 9mm sound like a 22! 😂😂😂 Standard issue sidearm in Nordic countries to deal with large widelife like polar bears, moose, etc.
Thanks so much for that comparison I always wondered if I should upgrade to a 10 mil and by what your test showed the only difference is the knockdown power of the heavy slug on the 10 bill 9mm shoot 115 and they do just fine for me thanks for the comparison always wondered now I don't thanks Edwin
Since you have a glock 20, you can get the 50cal conversion kit for it and fire that and compared it to a 9mm/10mm, which they say the kit is for a glock 20/21
I REALLY want a 10mm!!! I only wish you would have added the 40 in with the test... Maybe you could do a test showing the difference between a 10mm and a 40... Please ;-) Gr8 video as usual, thanks Mr Sarkissian :-)
Hey, Nice video with great quality. I heard at 1:51 you said you don't know what that cut out is called. It's called a "Soft Repeating V-Groove". If it was a "Hard Repeating V-Groove" you would be able to add a mount for attachments NOT including a sight. Those 2 little metal circles toward the rear sight is where you will attach a sight/optic if you were to do so. Lastly, a Soft Repeating V-Groove is just for design and looks, while a Hard Repeating V-Groove is actually used for attaching additional attachments. Also, the same thing goes for a sniper or rifle. I hope this helped. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. 😃
Best video I have ever seen of 9mm vs 10 mm.i was very curious about which ammo is more powerful and book penitration is best way to know about penitration power.
Sweet so the 10mm penetrated just as deep as the 9mm. That's impressive because the 10 mm is quite a bit heavier. I could see now why people say it's a great hunting round. Nice video by the way
The 10 will dump more energy into the body cavity when on target and being more lethal. At just that 1 extra mm bigger, why not have a harder hitting round? But then again I can handle the power and recoil whereas certain other people would not. I love that 10mm is having a strong comeback (thanks to me and my vocalized favor of it LOL, ok doubtful). But in these past decades since the "Miami shootout" and lame 9mm ammo at the time followed by the shortcomings of the adaptability and acceptability of the 10mm power set by the FBI's example, thus producing the 40 Slow & Wimpy version. And in these decades the ammo study and production of ballistics has thrived and peaked with each caliber having similar consistencies to the FBI jello. So the 9mm is much better than it was back half a century ago, and all the other flavors got their respectable useful upgrades too. But there's always gonna be biased shooters out there; and they're usually the ignorant shooters not understanding ballistics much and regurgitating ignorance they've heard another ignorant person say, and far fewer shooters who actually do. But I'll take a cereal box slingshot any day over a .380 snap cap gun. And this, THIS comment here, I'm just saying what my neighbor told someone that I overheard him say and I have no idea what a primer thing is, wait what, a primer? It's that like a porn fluffer back in the day?
The 10 mm is a magnum the Glock we'll handle the heavy rounds which is Underwood Buffalo Bore the normal load which they don't make anymore 57000 pounds of chamber pressure
btw.. just a small question Edwin .... do you always have a bullet in your pocket ? its not the first video in wich i see you putting out a bullet from your pocket XD
Unless I missed it, not sure what type of bullets you used. Noticed there was no expansion in either of the test bullets, just disfigurement. It goes without saying that the 10MM will out penetrate the 9MM. That said, I'm not sure what your point was here. A little more information explaining your test parameters, such as terminal results, etc., would have been helpful in understanding the true value of the preceding 5:47 minute posting.
Nice and entertaining as usual, But this wasn't a good comparison, you have to use the same kind of ammo,Underwood doesn't expand,it's too hard. The 9mm would penetrate farther than a 10mm,using regular ammo. keep it up though.
Hey could you or someone do a test using defense ammo or use both hollow points in same ammo Maker. The full medal jackets in 10mm are rounded over so that may hurt the penatration??? Maybe use a ballistics gel or something??
Edwin Sarkissian My opinion the bigger the better. Lol Can you please compare A hollowpoint 9 mm 115 grain versus FMJ40 caliber 180 grain Pretty please thank you It would be very cool To see the difference you will be the 1st one To do this video if you can please. Do this on the ballistic gel pls. And make sure you shot it how the impact to the ballistic gel. Pls show the impact like the Kinetic energy.
AND I bet the 10mm is the standard 180gr off the shelf stuff and not the hotter stuff it was actually intended to be...why it’s always practically watered down to 40 cal I’ll never understand...
