The first time I've ever heard this song, I was just getting over a breakup drinking with my friend, Chase. I never really have heard 9tails before except my friend showed me sleep gang. And I had another friend tell me that 9tails is actually really cool and makes sad rap but I never really checked him out. But I was listening to sleep gang and I decided that I wanted to hear his other music if it was the same vibe. So Chase and I were getting drunk to this song and we laughed our arses off at the line that mentioned his name. My ex really wanted to be there and she didn't have anywhere else to go so she was still sleeping under my roof. She was being really cold to me that night and had made me cry intentionally because she was just being an asshole. My buddy Chase had told me that he felt that she was being cold and that it is screwed up. I invited him over two nights later and he actually didn't come over until like 3 hours in. He was also getting over a breakup so I was wondering why he wasn't more eager to hang out with friends and forget about it all. He came over and I ended up making out with him as a dude for the first time in my life we did a bit more lol I was really drunk. It turns out there's a reason my ex wanted to drink with him there. And it turns out there's a reason that he broke up with his girl right around the same time my girl broke up with me. It turns out they had been talking even before any breakup was mentioned. It turns out they were doing a little more than just talking. They're both sleeping out of her car to this day. She left her Heelys at my house though and I ended up giving them to a girl that I invited over like 3 days later. I've never really had casual sex before that girl. And I've had some since but it's not really what I wanted it to be. I feel so empty. I used to think getting laid was the problem, but I could do that right now if I hit up this one chick or another. It turns out that's not the problem at all. Women are. Like why is it thst in my short 22 years of life my mom has been through six relationships but I haven't seen her spend a single night alone? Why did my dad have to cry into MY shoulders while my mom is off meeting some other dude at a bar? I really wish I could cry into his shoulder now, but he died when I was fourteen. I'm not even emo nor do I usually use this kind of lingo or dialect like this: but this song really is like a form of self-harm to me.
