As a muslim u have to have love for the ahulbayt its not about sunni shia. Tbh sects are forbidden in islam. Its in the quran. We are all one. Hazrat hussain RA left a legacy on how to deal with tyrants. What happened to them and how they dealt with the situation is admired even today by Hindus Christians etc. They were the epitome of patience and true sacrifice for their love for the Almighty. And never for one second did they waver against the tyrant. There are always tyrants in this world. Look at the people of palestine their a eg of true eman following in the ahulbayt footsteps. Karbala is a lesson for all. Salaam ya hussain.

Salaam, of course us Muslims should all have love for ahlul bayt. I am Sunni myself. We are distraught too with regards to what happened to our prophets family. But hitting oneself and causing bodily harm is wrong. That is something I totally disagree with. I would too love to visit Karbala one day inshallah. Jazakallah khair.

As-salamu alaykum hope u ok Aunty & ur family I come cross some1 comment on someone’s video that Shia ppl believe Yazeed as there 5th khalifa as I don’t believe in that Alhumdulillah I’m a Muslim & we all born as a Muslim then we grew up as a Sunni/Shia/non Muslim etc……But we all need to remember what Allah swt though us in Quran & the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) Sunnah. We Need to focus on our Emaan & make it stronger.We all love our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) & his family. When I was young my beloved mum used to listen to the Karbala ka waqia & she used to cry i was too young to understand & now every year this tym around I get so emotional & upset whatever happened in Karbala 😢 shaheed tu mar ke bhi zinda hai Karbala ka waqia hum sab ko bahut kuch sikha gaya hai
Crying is human nature. When a child is born if he does not cry then the family cry because they think there is something wrong. all the prophets cried including Jacob, who se crying is mentioned in the holy Quran and he cried so much that he turned blind …people warned him he will go blind but he carried on crying even though he knew Joseph was alive. Allah did not reprimand him indeed mentioned it in the Quran because he liked it so much, so who are you? As for the mourning and the laments Allah says in the Quran I do not like wailing or screaming unless it is for injustice so again it is allowed and commended , afterall what greater injustice is there than what was done to Imam Hussain. Noah was not named Noah which means the wailer but rather because he used to cry and wail (that’s why we call the lamenters Noah readers Noahkwann . He got the title because Allah chose it so it is groundless to criticise. Adam lost his son killed by his other son, Allah tells Adam to Wail on him. Also when Hamza was martyred and his liver eaten and chewed by the grandmother of Yazid Lannati the prophet came back to Medina from the battle and found people crying over there martyrs in Uhad he then complained and said you cry over your own but is there no one to cry over my uncle Hamza then the companions ordered their wives in Medina to mourn and cry for Hamza and This carried on for three days . When the angels came to Sarah to inform her of her son it says in the holy Quran that she slapped her face she beat her face now neither did Allah condemned this as He would have said in the Quran this was wrong nor is there any record of the prophet Ibraheem having condemned it. Constantly we do things to improve our physical being which involve short term self harm for example going to the gym. There is a danger of One having a heart attack but in the greater good this is deemed allowed because it improves the physical condition. Similarly beating of chests is scientifically proven to improve mental well-being and we know from personal experience it elevates the spirit so the spiritual benefits are undoubtable and there is no lasting long-term effects. Also you would have to be Shia to understand the grief …it’s like it is unfolding before our eyes…so the possibility of death from grief if this grief was not channeled by the imams is real see Hamam sermon ( A man ask a question to imam Ali who avoids it but the man insists so it is answered and man dies just hearing the answer ) in Nahjulbalagha if he had started beating himself ( as imam Ali mention in a saying elsewhere in Nahjul Balagha ) he may not have died. As to why it has done every year well the sacrifice of Ismail was accepted and a sheep was given. Ismael did not die. Ismael was not killed and yet Allah deemed it worthy that because there was a possibility of Ismail being slain and Ibraheem passed his test that this test should be remembered every year in the form of Hajj And in the Quran, we are told that the sacrifice of Ismael was replaced by a great sacrifice and that is clearly the sacrifice of imam Hussain in Karbala where no sheep came to save him. He was actually sacrificed. So for those with eyes it is proven that these acts of mourning are completely in line with Islamic beliefs and the way of the prophets. Condemning beating oneself you should condemn also Aisha who beat herself on the passing of the prophet recorded by ibn Isaac the teacher of buhari . she says I saw the other ladies coming and beating their face and chest with one hand at the death of the profit. I then got up and started beating my face with two hands. Syed Khomeini used to say that this chest beating is a miracle people asked him why and he replied it is a slap in the face of Yazidiyat .. is it not a wonder that you slap your own chests but rather than you feel the pain the pain is felt in the watchers chests in form of hatred at the act. @@waheedasukander9291 hajj is compulsory on you if you are Debt free in our Fiqh a mortgage needs to be cleared off before you can go on Hajj , inshallah once that is cleared off we will do hajj too .
