i dont know about that, those type seem to always have an agenda for helping u, u know a favor for a favor and wont let u forget it, they will stab u in the back like a wet alley cat, most people who r tough will come back around and trat u like they treat there enemies, id rather fight my own battles. she is quite beautiful though.
Sable Colby was definitely my favourite character. Seeing both Sable and Krystl together made such a wonderful team against Alexis. Krystl was very kind hearted but a bit soft now there’s Sable full of fire and always ready to pick up the fight after Krystl left. Stephanie Beacham is such a great and beautiful actress. Her voice is so soothing. I wish she was my mother in real life.
I feel that Krystle was giving Sable her blessing to take her place if she died, she knew that Blake, Krystina and the rest of the family would be in safe hands with Sable
What A Beautiful Moment,When Krystle And Blake First Got Married,Fallon(Pamela Sue Martin)Was Dead Set Against It,But It Was Nice To Hear Fallon Now(Emma Samms)Tell Her Those Wonderful Things,It Was True,Linda Evans As Krystle Was The Moral Center Of Dynasty,Mediating Conflicts Between Her Husband And Step Children And Doing Everything She Could To Make Sure That There Was PEACE In The Carrington Household!!! 😊😊😊😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@chakur25 Definitely yes; when Blake says to the family gathered at the parlour that he and Krystle plan renewing their wedding vows, there was a very brief look from Krystle to Sable, as if she wanted to say: "If I die, will you take care of him?"
@chakur25 Kind of an interesting dynamic I noticed, Sable have the ruthlessness of Alexis when provoked but the heart of Krystle, while her sister Frankie had the similar personality of Krystle but the singular drive and goal of getting what she wants of Alexis. (I think I read somewhere that was intent The Colby's writers had in mind in creating these two characters) Sable would have been suited to be next wife of Blake had they wanted to go there. She is fiercely loyal to her family and will do anything to make sure they are protected (that is her main trigger which makes her go in 'Alexis' mode of ruthlessness if she feels her family or those she cares about are in jeapordy)
@chakur25 Also I think Sable would be the one Krystle would entrust with raising her daughter if something happened to her, that and having her be Blake's next wife. In some scenes in the early episodes of this last season that was heavily implied.
i dont know about that those type of people u have to tend to watch very carefully, they tend to always want a favor for favor, will stab u in the back like a wet alley cat.
@@userfridaywiggly18943 yeah she seem to like Crystal possible because she knew it would get under Alexis's skin. But she was wrong to go up against Connie.. I liked Sable though and Alexis as well as Crystal .but I was glad when Connie put Sable in her place.
Almost brought down Alexis - but Alexis ultimately had dirt on Blake on the Nazi treasure, so they both agreed to back off and walk away in the final episode.
Honestly, if Linda Evans had left and the Krystle character had died, with Sable staying, it would have made for another couple years of good television. There's only so many Alexis vs Krystle moments they could do before it got stale (and boy did it become stale), so having an adversary who could actually match Alexis professionally AND personally would have changed the format.
Well she did leave but Krystle didn't need to die. By the reunion movies she was in Switzerland for two years so there's two years they could have had Krystle out of the picture to make room for someone like Sable had the show continued. To kill her off would be a bit overkill so simply writing her out and making it so that she can return if need be is the best option.
Her acting is spot-on for the *character.* The writers did poorly by Fallon from Season 4 (yes, even with PSM in the role) through 7, and still confusing in 8. That said, Samms wasn't hired to play Pamela Sue Martin, and delivered a fantastic Fallon in Season 9.
3:00: "I am going to ask you for something now ... would you quit, and let Pamela Sue Martin come back to play the role she never should have abandoned? Because really, you just suck ..."
You could tell season 9 they were trying to save money on sets and wardrobe the glitz was all but gone. Although season 9 was my favorite then seasons 2 3 4
I never watched Dynasty, but I am a *huge* Star Trek fan, so although it took a while, I realized that the actress playing Sable was in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, playing the love interest of the holographic character Moriarty of Sherlock Holmes
It really was kinda cool how Sable came to Krystal's aid. I always thought it was her sister, Jeff's Mother Francesca who had a lot more in common with Krystal and theyd have been good friends....only Spelling and the Shapiro's never $$$$ for Katherine Ross to appear...so they never had a scene together.
This was as close Sable came to looking the same age she was supposed to be on The Colby's. Her wardrobe even looked similar here as to when she was on that show. She also had considerably shorter hair at the pool scene with Dex then she had here and then it was longer in the tankers being sunk scene with Alexis Adam and Monica then when Dex and Alexis went over the banister at The Carlton it was even longer and fuller. They did same thing with Fallon's hair from her last scene in season 8 to the premiere of season 9 which was supposed to pick up literally seconds after the finale. Continuity with lots of things was never this shows strong suit
All the women fight against Alexis: Crystal, Sable, Sammy Jo, Dominique, and her Cousin. Why didn't they fight against each other? Just all against Alexis. That's not true to life.
They were such good buds but in "The Reunion" Krystle came back brain fully in tact remembering everything and yet asks no one whatever happened to her friend Sable. Not even Sables son Miles mentions his mom. Beacham never showed up in Cat Fights & Caviar either and im wondering if she had a fall out with someone invloved in the show and they acted like she wasnt even IN season 9
There are several reasons given at different times over the years by co-stars, inside stories, and Martin herself. Most common is she was never comfortable with the cultural phenomenon (and the glamour) that Dynasty had become. She didn't get along with co-stars - she felt that Joan Collins had changed Dynasty, which led to some resentful feelings; and she and John James always had difficulty working together. Her relatively new husband, a Spanish cinematographer then trying to make a name for himself as a film producer in Hollywood, carried a lot of influence over her. Changes in her appearance led to reports of medical conditions - that later was said to be an alternative explanation for more personal problems. There was a LOT going on that likely led to her choosing to leave. And though the tabloids sold many issues with the narrative that she might return, come 1985, she and Aaron Spelling had both moved on for good.
She adored Blake & Krystal but hated Alexis as a result of Alexis sleeping with Sable's ex-husband Jason Colby. Sable came to Denver to destroy Alexis.
Let's not forget that the beautiful Stephanie Beecham's passed on now. A damn good actresses of TV and films. God bless her soul. R.I.P. Stephanie.❤🙏🙏🙏xx.
@@robertclayton9138 Sorry for typing this comment. I must've been misinformed about Stephanie Beacham. I can't remember who told me. I'm British and I haven't seen her in any interviews of late. So glad to hear that she's still alive mate. Cheers for correcting my comment.
@@fishfish2128 Yes, that's what I was thinking. They do look somewhat alike, characters were similar and both were Alexis' relatives, so easy mistake to make - although , for a Brit? Hmm ..
Two STUNNING WOMEN.....Linda Evans and Stephanie Beacham! GOD they were gorgeous and Linda's voice was like hot chocolate with cinnamon in it and Stephanie's was the most impeccable British accent I've ever heard.
