*classy is such an obsolete, ubiquitous word. Do you mean he was pragmatic? Compassionate? Respectful? Humble? Wise? Because those characteristics could be associated with anyone of any socioeconomic “class”
I really like ASAP’s character. This 90 second clip told a whole lot. He seems like a talented, yet humble man, and he loves his family, stands by his woman, and takes care of his kids.
Every single clip I have seen of Asap answering and addressing any problem concerning someone else, he has always handled it with complete humility and class. One of my favourite rappers from this fact alone.
As a rocky fan thats all cap. He never acknowledges SGP which literally made rocky evolve. Yeah travis has the same hair style....big whoop even here he copied him? Bruh chill
@AshleyShannise I feel like he developed his own style up until Utopia.. that album just felt too much like a homage album to Ye to the point he sacrificed his own identity for me
@@firstlast9846Ye only had to do with I believe 8 tracks on the 19 track album. and he worked on Yeezus, the album that people said it felt like he was ripping on.
He is. But he's also INTELLIGENT INTELLIGENT. Without a doubt. Bros the perfect lookin, classy, good soundin, intelligent mfer. You think you'd get someone like RIHANNA, at his age!! - without having class and intelligence etc 😉
Lol everyone did even myself as an adult. Now I'm an older adult I finally realized who he was copying 100% from. At first I thought there was only an ASAP Rocky and Everytime i seen photos of Travis Scott i would just think it was rocky until a couple years ago when Travis performed that demonic ritual killing like 15 people at his concert which NOBODY talks about anymore which I literally predicted the day it happened i said media will brush it under the rug fast as they can to make everyone forget it even happened.
i think travis has evolved his style and fashion enough that now he’s in his own lane, obviously there’s inspiration from somewhere but i feel like you can’t really say travis and rocky are even remotely similar anymore, both dudes dress entirely different, behave entirely different, sound entirely different. i can’t lie that there were similarities in the beginning but i wouldn’t say so anymore.
I mean u can't deny trav was inspired by rocky but I agree completely overblown and Travis has his completely own sound even if his "style" is pretty similar
Facts because I see Travis Scott today I do not see Rocky at all… maybe a little bit back then but not now ABSOLUTELY TF NOT !! Travis is in a league of his own… & idc what nobody says. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
@@AshleyShannisehe’s not in a league of his own? dude i haven’t heard his name since astro world not like asaps real big bout in real rap dude is barley listened to
I love me some Rocky and on top of that I love how he just says things naturally and no hate or anything just facts and he want others to be humbled tho❤
Rocky’s whole thing was merging the Houston sound with NY raps. Travis is the modern Houston trapper and also takes heavy influence from that sound. While I’m sure they’ve both consciously and subconsciously influenced the style and trajectory of each other’s careers, I don’t think it’s fair to say either is necessarily biting one or the other when they’re both pulling from the same real OG’s like bun b and 36mafia.
Asap has always made boom bap to me bro, nothing he’s done sonically has shown that he’s influenced Travis, days before rodeo was ahead of it’s time for trap music asap was not doing anything like that at that time
Travis 100% wishes he had 1% of rocky's talent and track presence. No one respects Travis and honestly Travis is slow. Like he's handicapped. Mentally.
He may be clearly inspired, but it still takes a crazy amount of dedication and talent to perfect the craft of making songs that are anywhere near as good as songs belonging to artists like ye, kudi, asap etc, so we shouldn’t look past Travis’ hard work and critique him for “copying” when almost none of us could do what Travis does, inspired or not.
Humble and flattered not feeding into bullshit this is what I like to see he keeps his craft in mind and is doing his art without problem and worries that’s what more people needs to do
I use to like a lot of artists but then I realized they ain't shit cause the ppl who working that 9/5 are real artist they be putting in that time in energy that they could use to better themselves but still managing to hold it down with what time they got left before or after work so shout out to all my peoples working part or full time y'all the real artist out here taking physical experience into sum bigger later, also the recording assistant & etc go look at all these albums & show love to the people who helped contribute to that album that was made cause we wouldn't have shit with out ppl who do digital art, take photos, chop up the beats, or engineer those is sum real deal right there
@@bricksmith1515 I guess, but that wasn't the point. The commenter was saying that people who still find the time and energy to make art in addition to having a day job deserve more respect. Your comment is especially silly if you consider that most professional musicians had a regular job at some point before they figured out how to support themselves through their art.
Classy professional, intelligent. Well played young man. Imitation is indeed the best form of flattery and if nobody is trying to rip off your style then you ARE doing something wrong. 💯 Well said young man
“Imitation is absolutely the best form of flattery”. They want to be like you Ma. Wait till you bust out on them. They gone be running to the mall.😂😂😂😂 I ain’t there y’all.😂😂😂😂
When they copy its a compliment. You do you and ignore that shit , I used to hate it. My grandmother told me different, Ty , don't hate it , they wana be you , but trust me darlin, they never will be , and kissed me on ma cheek. Never seen it any other way since that day
people seem to forget that rocky is not your average uneducated hood gangster. everyone should check out his Harvard interview. his way of speaking respectfully even to instigators should be taken by all the youth. other notable artists who are well spoken: tupac, eazy e, Kendrick.
Ngl y’all really just talkin about they both black no faceil hair tattoos the way trav dress is the way he grew up dressing ion abt rocket but we got a whole documentary on trav he been doing dis shit
PERFECT example of Hard work beats talent . Look how far Travis Scott’s came and In a lot of people’s opinion Rocky is more talented and original. But not the same work ethic.
@@alex-fo2vfyet his last album sounded like Yeezus part 2 with literal b sides from that album remade and he’s one of the hundreds of 808s and heartbreak babies. Not particularly true is it
I ain't say there was beef all I said was Travis been copying his shit for years now where do you see beef in my comment hold this "L" my nigga 😂 @@dondemonico
