Wilson is a big fish in the little pool that is the legacy WNBA but Clark has made it a much bigger pool leaving Wilson eclipsed. Clark has earned the European money contract and Wilson wont get near as much if she wants to follow.
I hope she opts to exercise her right to play in Euro-basketball and the WNBA is stupid enough to follow through on their threat to ban her from the W. Let them go back to the dumpster.
As a lifelong Gamecocks fan, I hate to admit that you’re correct. Dawn Staley is a great coach, it’s true. But her outlook on life and her attitude SHOULD prevent her from coaching or mentoring ANYWHERE!

Until Caitlin came to this league, I had never seen nor wanted to see a WNBA game. The only players I'd ever heard of were Griner, Bird and Swoopes. Griner due to the Russian crap, Swoopes because she was the first WNBA draft pick, and Bird because of her relationship with Rapinoe.. Now there is A'ja Wilson, a three time WNBA MVP who is another WHO ! If Caitlin leaves the entire league will become WHO's again.
. . because before Caitlin, no one gave two sh*ts about the WNBA as anything more than a summer filler until the NBA started up again. Supply and demand, baby, supply and demand. Big difference between what you think you're worth, and what the people with the money think you're worth -- regardless of all your talent and hard work. Time to grow up.
Clarks a good person and a'ja is a shrew. We want more good people in the league next year that can beat the Clark attitude drum. Play quality basketball and be good.
Would love to see CC get with someone and develop her own league. WNBA doesn't deserve her or the money she will generate. European league on USA tv will make a fortune for its players. As we already know CC would spread the wealth if they let her. Knowing it will be 20 more years before her USA records are broken.
