Once a friend of mine told me when we were school kids… if you dip a cockroach in paint and leave it on a canvas, you can sell that piece of art in millions😂😂…
I love the part where she said the visitor thought it is a part of museum experience......God all this crazy art galleries are sooooo sooo unpredictable...
@Faux Fax The other person said that black money can be converted into white, I don't understand how. I'll appreciate if you can explain me with your common sense.
@Faux Fax Something is worth the money because someone is ready to pay that money. That's how economics work. A share in the stock market is not the true value of the the company. A piece $100 bill is not having any underlying gold. They all gain value because of some reasons called demand & supply. Similarly NFT and piece of art they have no value, yet they have value.
@@Panda-gw8ot the og comment used the wrong terms ....what they really mean is that it's used to make dirty money (from scams, laundering, drug sales, or other money related crimes) into clean money that can't be traced back to the person who committed the crime because the money is the same amount but doesn't have the same serial numbers or security strips.
*People in the comments saying, a 5 year old can make it, my sister, brother cousin blah blah blah can make it, doesn't understand that this is not ballon. Its a sculpture made out of some glass or ceramic, which is not easy to make. Get educated please*
if it cost so much why have it set up like that?? it's so easy to have it behind glass rather than out like that where shit like this could happen. He was probably hoping for someone to break it so he could collect the payout.
There's one of them the size of a small car on someone's lawn in Westchester County New York. Is that the 91,000.00 piece? Imagine a giant blue balloon dog on your multi-million dollar lawn. smh and rolling my eyes
This kind.of balloon art sells for thirty rupees in Indian traffic crossings , I don't know what kind of money laundering goes on under the garb of art
Can anyone explain why does it cost so much? There has to be a reason. Is it difficult to sculpt these kind of sculptures? & Why the hell they didn't put protective glass around the sculpture if it can just fall down by a single tap. 😂 You are too confident to think that there won't be any stupid people who will touch your art.
I wouldn't have because I wouldn't have known that it was insured. If they would have tried to make me pay for it, that would ruin my life. I already don't have much money. If I owed that to anyone, I'd never get out of debt. And I would definitely be upset if all that happened because I bumped a fragile balloon dog sculpture.
if its break easily how come it cost that much , for fucking 90 million he should made it with uranium and material inside asteroids so it will last atleast 1000 years
@@Panda-gw8ot in not gonna give you ideas ! Just kidding, Artist put up their arts for auction, they make a secret preferably verbal pact with rich. Once they get the millions of dollars, they (artists) retain only small amount, rest belong to the rich guy. And there are no taxes for artistic articles that are auctioned!
@@Discover-Hidden I don't see where tax exemptions are given. If the artist sells he pays his income taxes. On the other hand the buyer pays GST when he purchases and if you are bringing it to your country you pay customs duty too. When he sells further he is supposed to pay Capital Gains tax. If the artist keeps just a small amount and gives back the rest, then it will again tantamount to black money, I don't see how it will become white.
