Oh what a gorgeous lake! All the hang over branches on the banks = heaven to me! 😌 Aside from quilting, I live for summers and a whole lotta fishin. We mainly fish Lake CDA but that lake of yours looks awesome. I really enjoyed the stitching too…I so want to learn how to hand stitch. Keep the tutorials coming. Would you stitch it by hand as well if you decided to fill in the block or would that be done on an embroidery machine? Thanks so much for sharing. Hope hubby caught a few.
Just curious why you didn't put it in a hoop. I do embroidery using a hoop. Seems so much easier to control the fabric. Oops! You just addressed that part.
But you are not fishing. We used to fish everyday. He says when you go out on a boat with him you fish. You don't sew or read. Friends the wife would read and he thought that was terrible. You do what you want, if you want to sew, you sew, not with him. He can't fish now so I don't get to go either.
