Why has it been forgotten? I fished it a couple times and love the intrepid. Just wondering your thoughts. It was definitely the big talk when she first launched
They actually let you catch and keep fish in California? They ban everything else so I just figured the limit would be like one fish a month per family every other leap year.

That depends on the length of the Trip, the boat you are on, and if meals are included, you can go to the Intrepid Sportfishing website and see pricing. but a 10 Day like this is a little pricy.
@@bobfish3176 I couldn't agree with you more, and that's sad because you never see younger people hardly on these trips they just can't afford it anymore!
@@thefishingrealtor3615 The Excel, the undisputed Queen of the fleet (although the Intrepid is dearest in MY heart) has 16 day trips, younger people often can't afford that much time and money ($8k plus) away from work and family. BTW, that's about how much it was 6 years ago.
You should upload this video again but with the original sound. Sucks when people add music to the video when there’s nothing better then listening to the sound of a fishing reel pull drag.
@@thefishingrealtor3615 Was that for a day of fishing and for the whole group ? I’ve been on a few overnight trips out of Point Judith, Rhode Island and that was on a party boat and it cost $400. per person but that was years ago. I caught 5 bluefin tuna in the 75 range so was worth the money as well as fishing for them. Thanks for the reply. “Keep a tight line”
Tier 1 boats now average about $450 per day meals inclusive. Intrepid is a great boat with excellent food and room to fish. Only drawback is when going out and back when the boat is heading south east or north west it is perpendicular to the swell and this boat rocks like crazy. Minus just that I would go back on this boat over others in the San Diego fleet any day.
