@@EricksonAviationMedia id had friends that were in the Canadian forces and they told me how impacting the a10 was at helping soldiers on the ground and when the gun spun up they would cheer "Merica f yea"

Couldn't tell you why they chose the exact colours they did. Only that it is in honor of the F-105 Memphis Belle II (which was painted in honour of the original B-17 Memphis Belle. There's plenty of info you can look up on that, but I'm sure you've done that already.

You refer to Federal Standard color numbers US Dark Green FS 34079, US Medium Green FS 34102, and Dark Tan FS 30219. You are correct. they used a lighter almost faded green in place of the Dark Green. I couldn't tell you why either, other than its an oversite on the part of whoever it was that researched this for the paint scheme. BTW- it was painted in the SEA scheme as an honor to those people assigned to the 355 TFS and the 97 soles from 355 TFS who lost their lives or were imprisoned during Vietnam. It has nothing to do specifically with the F-105 Memphis Bell other than the jet just happened to be assigned to 355th.

@@EricksonAviationMedia No. It has nothing to do with the F-105 Memphis Belle II and has to do more for the people who flew the F-105. The U.S. Air Force unveiled a new Vietnam War-era paint scheme for the demonstration jet in honor of the 97 Airmen assigned to the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing, who either made the ultimate sacrifice of losing their lives during that conflict or became prisoners of war. The F-105 Memphis Bell you mentioned just happened to be assigned to the 355TFS but it is not why this A-10 was painted in SEA colors.

Going again next year? It'll be interesting to see what they get for performers. No Air Combat Command demos unfortunately.
