I just found your channel a few hours ago & have learned so much already! This video in particular was chock full of such wonderful information! Your explanations superb! And, I greatly appreciate how you time-stamped parts & linked everything in the description!! May God Bless & reward you for taking the time to share what you know with us!! 🤗🙏😇
In your video, you said your family prayers the Compline prayers & seasonal antiphons. I would love to learn how so my family can do this together as well. Do you have a link to learn Compline & also share which RU-vid channel you view the seasonal antiphons? Thank you!
@missslip-a-stitch7070 for compline we use a little black compline prayer book that we ordered from Angelus Press but I think I have just found an easier way….using the iPieta app. It’s a free app and in settings you can choose for it to follow the “traditio calendar”. To get to the compline prayers you just click on the little open book symbol 📖 that says officium underneath. Next, on the top menu there will be that same open book symbol so you click in that and choose Completorium from the menu for the compline/night prayers. No need to be flipping back and forth in a book and it can be mirrored on the TV screen even. ☺️ For the antiphons we just choose one based on how simple it is to follow along and we like how it sounds. I haven’t found them from one particular channel yet but I’ll add the ones we we have used and enjoyed to the description 😀
I added all this info in the description of the video but thought it might also be helpful here in the comments ☺️ Season Antiphons (here are a few RU-vid videos that our family has used to sing along to and learn the lyrics) Alma Redemptoris Mater ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-04OILtQpOQE.htmlsi=EiXYqIo1bzXo6YX8 Ave Regina Caelorum ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BoHDoVAs1AM.htmlsi=EaeIpdWSKeZzSIB2 Regina Caeli ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sovtwCwJMZ8.htmlsi=8CpPvLdMZbHiffhm Salve Regina ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uHd76Wvae9o.htmlsi=b2qhPcBSQXy3lT3S Compline book my family uses: angeluspress.org/products/compline Free Catholic App that has the compline prayers: iPieta An article I found that gives a nice, brief explanation about the Seasonal Marian Antiphons: adoremus.org/2007/09/singing-the-four-seasonal-marian-anthems/
Thank you so much for all your videos! You are always so original and positive. I love this because when I when I watch certain RU-vid channels that cover controversial topics, it just gives me more stress. This truly helped me with my prayer life. I love how you also explain about First Fridays at the end of the video. This is absolutely the best Catholic RU-vid channel for moms. Please make more videos! 😊
I'm glad I found you and I have several sisters who I'm going to share it with. It's good to hear a person actually other than father speak about him and how he has affected someone else's life because I think he is outstanding
Thank you so much, I’m so happy to hear you found the video helpful. 😊 I have learned so much from Fr. Ripperger and there is always so much more to learn. He has such a great way of explaining complex things and making them applicable to daily life, and for any vocation. Sometimes it’s so much information, I can’t seem to remember it all, so I though others might also enjoy a recap/summary of what he says. ☺️ Thank you for your kind comment, and for sharing the video. Please continue to give me feedback, I really appreciate it! God bless you 🙏🏻🌺
I definitely will continue to give feedback because I know how important it is. It's difficult to know the direction to go in sometimes because you just don't hear from people. But when people are responding and reacting to your videos then you're given more definition and have a greater purpose in your pursuit to present the information in such a way that it is applicable and understandable to almost everyone
Thank you! That’s a great idea and I would love to do that. I’m in the middle of moving so it’s been taking me longer to make my videos, but that would definitely be something I’d like to do to do in the future.
