Guided exercise starts at 22:40. I've been coming back to this meditation regularly over the last five years. It does wonders for helping me realign my mindset when I'm stuck dwelling on hardships. Thank you so much.
*When the mind is out of the way and you can receive all of life, it manifests as the ultimate joy*. It is divine joy, and it is beyond any mortal pleasure possible. When you know the truth, you see the light as the Bible says; you see true life. It is much more than joy; the best word to describe it is bliss. Google *TruthContest read the Present*, it explains for the 1st time in history the ultimate *Truth of Life*, it explains how life works in every facet, including the *truth* about the mind ( the mind is the true cause of all the suffering, if you believe it or not) Just learn the big picture of life, it will set you free.
If you procrastinate for what you study. Than it might be a good idea to rethink what you really want in life instead of 'study' something because society wants you to. If you ask me there's a big diffrence between studying(learning about things that make you pass, but aren't really important to you) and learning(Learning about things you love and inspire you).
+M Unic So if you're in school studying engineering (which you love) and your school requires you to take a class on the history of the American Civil War (which bores you to death) in order to get your degree, should you just quit? Seriously, that's ridiculous. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do on the path to doing what you love. That's life.
this is for the advanced meditators ... its a 6 step meditation not some monk monostep :))) u gotta know what u are doing at least when meditating and heavily involve imagination or you might get no sex and no sales
You all did not notice that he is actually directing his partner to instead connect with the one next to him, since he realises they are three on the other side too? He is giving his partner a gesture because he is confident enough to go without.
Dear Vishen, YOU are a REALLY WONDERful person:-):-):-)!! YOU make your *WORK* from the BOTTOM of your HEART!!! THANKS sooo much for SHARING your WISDOM !!! Maria
This sure as hell IS a meditation. Mindfulness meditation may be about observing one's thoughts and breath and such, but I think the core of meditation lies in FOCUS. So it doesn't matter whether you focus on some visualizations or your breath - the effect is still the same. I like this type of guided meditation it helps me to focus much more than mindfulness meditation. I tend to wander off into random thoughts much less often, if ever. Mindfulness meditation has its benefits too though I think it can drive you deeper when you get good at it.
Yea there is this chasm between an absolute beginning and normal mediation techniques. That chasm is being filled by people like this man. This way of meditating is much more effective for beginner level meditators, because it's much easier to bring your focus to something ELSE than it is to focus on NOTHING. Mindfulness meditation isn't actually focusing on nothing, but "nothing" is all a beginner can conceive of. It takes some time to learn what it means to experience non-response, because non-response often gets confused with focusing on resistance or nothingness. Until someone can learn what non-response is, this kind of meditation is most effective.
Hunter Baker mindfulness is actually not about thinking of "nothing" at all. In my deepest meditation sessions, I was able to go so deep that I actually wasn't even trying not to think. I was thinking about stuff I wanted to. I never ever lost control over my thoughts basically because I was so aware of what is going on with my body with my mind. It felt like I was looking at my skull from inside the center of my head completely detached from my identity. It was fucking weird but awesome and what was most incredible about the experience later on, was that if I had some kind of pain emotional or physical, I could literally just ALLOW it to be there and in that moment it just didn't exist. Or if it did, it didn't bother me at all it was a part of the whole experience and there was nothing I would want to change about it. Awesome experience
+dligac Yea it isn't nothing, it's actually a razor sharp focus. But beginners will think it's nothing, because a mind that hasn't been developed has nothing else to conceive of, because most people haven't focused like meditation allows you to.
Hunter Baker it's great to do when you have some kind of pain because if you learn how to allow it, and detach from it basically, you can do that with every other aspect of your experience in that moment and then you start literally feeling like rising up. I've got to the point where I felt like a strong sun was shining on my head and the joy I felt was orgasmic literally, that was fucking profound. It was a long time ago tho.
An old and wise philosophy, meditation and mindfulness, ripped off by a guy who understand nothing about its underlying philosophy and who only wants to buy a Lamborghini, a large mansion in California and a luxury Yacht. Buddha must be turning in his grave...
I've been meditating for years. I've incorporated this meditation into my daily practice for the past few months. Each phase still makes me smile, Thank you Vishen Lakhiani.
+TheMasterpieceArtist I'm sure you will think of some things, or do something nice today, buy a burrito or coffee for someone who looks unhappy or help at a soup kitchen. Eventually things will just come to mind if you can relax and let things arise. With patience and determined observation, eventually something will change, and you will notice the change. Be aware that the reptile within might jump up and interfere with it's fears and angers. Just breath, exert subtle control and relax your body, perhaps speak to it's concern and it's eventual solution, give it it's "chemical opposite", the key to the lock of it's concern. and it will calm back down and you;ll be able to resume. I just mention this because it's something that can happen while you are patiently waiting for the blank stage to change.
+TheMasterpieceArtist Hey, i had troubles with that point too. Mainly because i don´t really like myself. But i just filled that blank with things like "hey, i´m here trying to improve myself" or "i like my ever-fighting self that´s not just going to sit on my couch drinking beer to stop thinking about my ex anymore." or "i like my fucked up sense of humor" ;)
This is something I need to share with my kids. At 11 and 14 they are already under so much pressure and negative influence, but are still the awesome beings that came into the world. We need to make sure we tip the balance away from brules to awesomeness. They're the generation we're relying on to solve a lot of problems!
@Dean W. Buddy, take a chill pill. It was a joke. You took so much time out of your life to craft that lengthy reply for a random comment on the internet. I suggest you look deep down into yourself and question if you really are on the path to enlightenment. Empty vessels make a lot of noise, you know.
He is describing what we would call in our field self-hypnosis. Hypnosis takes the trance state and uses it proactively by asking questions, guiding a visualization, and/or doing some sort of action in the state. He is also using some serious influence tools and skills. What a great sales pitch for his company.
Wow!! that was quite an experience. I loved the part where i had to imagine my life 3years from now and the 6th phase about the light from above made me feel alive. Thank you Mr.Vishen
i cnt believe im watchng ths at a time when im questioning everythng esp the accepted rules esp. in my own family and society's conventional rules and thnkng what if i make my own rules? ive been the victim for most of my life..thank u so much for this .
Thank you Vishen for validating something I've actually been practising and I can say that it really does work! I focus on compassion, gratitude, forgiveness, having a purpose/vision, joy, and use affirmations to back these up. And, I trust in a Divine Energy helping/supporting me every day. I can say I'm a happy person!
Thank you a million times over. I meditate but this gives me structure and I'm confident that I'm now more evolved because of your practice. O how I needed this. Blessings 🙏 to you and yours forever more.
I agree with rivenraven1. Its a shame this guy is still focused in the present system of making money. We didn't come to this earth to make money. We are the only animals on the planet that do. We came here to be creative and if we lived in a system like that of The Venus Project, we wouldn't be wasting our time making a living. Imagine what man would create then!
Forgiveness is simplified in this context. I will forgive you, but you will be demoted from your current level of trust in my life. Thus your actions with me will have direct consequences in our future relationship. Else forgivness will just be stupid and allowing people to use you continously.
The good point when I was doing this meditation is I realised my objective in life is still very unclear like the image I wish to have of me in 3 years from now is still blurry. Thank you for this video, I'll try to improve that
Love the face to face presence exercise at 12.28 minutes Vishen - I use this with my courses and some of the connections people experience are amazing - as is the discomfort awareness. Thank you

Humility is is taught in every monotheistic religion but more importantly it's a basic tool of the mind that allows you to be open and teachable. Without it their is no room for growth. Without it every correction or criticism will inflict pain.
Greek concepts of parrhesia and sophrosyne pretty much cover that. They involve speaking freely and knowing what you are. Those pre-date christianity. If someone is bad at math, they say so. If someone runs up to an acknowledged excellent athlete, and says, "you're an excellent athlete." the xtn recommendation is to demur and qualify and evade. Which is an insult to excellence. He didn't get to be an excellent athlete by having every coaching of his performance inflict pain or by resisting being taught. He wasn't humble. Instead, he knew what he was at every stage of development, and found his way to excellence. Judeo-christian morality is a bum steer. "Open" and "teachable" are not linked to humble the way you think they are. They can stand without it. But the moral framework into which you and I were born has a vested interest in promoting 'humble'.
this knowledge isn't something you can share, It is something you have to experience, its so much more complex than you could imagine. I don't want to directly tell you to do them, although they wont do you much harm at all, but its really something you have to experience, no explanation could possibly do it justice, its like trying to describe a picture to someone who hasn't seen it, or trying to explain the colour red to a blind person
I've done shrooms(vaping DMT ensures no dabbling,) and there is no knowledge or wisdom, its like anything else, just something different to do. Real wisdom and knowledge is something you can share. You are placing meaning on top of an experience("like a thousand years of wisdom in only 4 hours") For example. "Eating food is a delightful and and essential part of life." "Nothing is better than sex!" "Fasting is a pure way to spiritual illumination." "Connecting with a person you love and that loves you is more pleasurable than the best sex you could have." Just stringing together words. I can tell you how important it is to go do something, but in the end its not going to do you any good. People may have no access to any shrooms, and need real wisdom to help live their life. There may exist no words that one can believe, there might be no material available, there must be a way for someone anywhere to manage, without special access to particular meaning or substance.
Not sure if ad. About to watch it. But you're assuming an ad has no value to give you or isn't worth your time because it's selling a product.. Even an ad can provide you with value and give you things to think about, learn and you can follow up on this for free later by looking keywords up. Every ad/show/vid has a message but you have to decide if you like and want to take that message in and how you process it? You can gain meaning/knowledge from everyone and everything if you're hungry and willing to learn
Great comment The LeeDurr Team! It makes me wonder what sort of mindset/beliefs/attitude most people have and how it affects their perception of the world and their happiness and success!
I am always taken aback by how people's brain allows then to conceptualize something positive into negative thoughts....this was a good presentation, what is wrong if the presenter references his business, how does this affect those who have found fault....could it be that the message shared by the presenter was not accepted simply because the critics have framed the negative feedback based on past memories / experiences that remain embedded in their brain....
Hello Vishen -- Thank you for your gift as I really appreciate it. I have it on my iPhone and iMac. Your explanation (via the 10-minute exercise) was very helpful. I have started my daily Gratitude Journal. I have enjoyed lots of stuff that MindValley offers. Wishing you continued success and abundant blessings.
After watching this video I feel like a gently bubbling spring. It is a wonderful gift you have shared and I will share with as many as I can. I have come across road rage as you have described and I need to pass this on.Thank you.
Very Refreshing & was Exactly what I was looking for right at this moment in life - Thank you Vishen & hat's off to 'The Law of Attraction' directing me to you :-) xXx
Phenomenal talk! This explains why my current morning meditation feels so good. I've added in specific wim hof breathing exercise after my meditation and end with a shower that has 30 seconds of cold. It's got a very powerful effect on the body.
Even I didn't think that there was much to fish here but his guided meditation is better than most of guided meditations I have tried on YT. I recommend strongly to listen to this guy. I don't know him but he does it in an ok manner.
i'm grateful for people like you-pioneers in self-enhancement-here's to hoping a spiritual curmudgeon like me can access such deep, 'un-mined' places in my mind, body and spirit. in doing the mediation-waterworks-nothing THAT new...i've had some upheavals in my life recently, so i'm not surprised. i'll take a leap in the hopes there's a ledge waiting and it's just me-being there for ME. and all the dreams i thought i'd share with someone i loved more than me-will become the dreams i share freely with ME and whatever or whoever the universe grants me the privilege of sharing such wild and implausible visions with...so thanks, vishen lakhiani...for a force i can take with me.
It was amazing . In the very last part I seen a 3 woman with earphones in and where normally I would never speak . I asked was they listening to this ? The 2 girls said yes and it was like I was in a dream state . But what was amazing is I had a smile on my face and I feel this was braking the barrier to having connection. Thank you amazing !! In addition does anyone experience their body jump when doing this meditation ? Just curious why that is ? So much gratitude to this honest pure man Vixen
Plomaso! Abrazo
Thank you Vishen - what a gift!!!!!!!!! NAMASTE Beautiful beautiful way to go inside and connect to ones self... short sweet and simple You rock the meditation world!! ❤️🤗💋
I'm sorry but this guy, is insufferable. I usually like these talks. Not this one. Thank you for telling most of us what we already know and what you do not know. Meditate positively, And Have some Virtues. BUT Leave out the several that don't suit your Narcissism. Sniff People and be uncomfortable with eye contact. Dogs do it and seem happy so screw it.. Sniff your neighbor. The definition of compassion and gratitude and all? Yeah. Um, Dogs Know what that is! Most humans at least know the websters definition. I apologize for being blunt. I didn't skip Honesty.
14:00 Ok, let me see if I understand Vishen correctly? An adult person chooses to react emotionally UNintelligently, like a child, to their unpleasant circumstances in their life. Because they are having a bad day, they act irresponsibly and without conscious regard for other beings, laws, etc.., . They throw litter on the ground, they kick somebody in the leg, they take a gun out and shoot YOUR child, or they get into their car, run a red light and murder an innocent bystander, or strike a match and burn the town down. If I understand Vishen's teaching correctly, you do not hold a person accountable or show them the error of their ways? That would be unforgiving and Judging? Well,..... that sounds like more NEW AGE HORSE SHIT! Vishen suggests we are supposed to FORGIVE them and excuse their erroneous, immoral, dangerous behavior and any damage they cause? Did you notice, the person who littered made an excuse for why they did the wrong behavior? They did not own their action and take responsibility. The person who littered made excuses to justify their childlike behavior. Yes, I do agree there is a time to "let it go" however, without a society of morally responsible adult children, expecting freedom is delusional. Legitimate suffering will surely come. I say, call them on their shit and then ''let it go"! Time to grow up folks.. a society of Adult Children is a recipe for an Insane Assylum. We need to sharpen our Judgement / discernment skills, not lessen them. Calling someone on their shit does not mean you do not have empathy for their situation. Truth be known, perhaps that is TRUE LOVE and the other nonsense, FALSE LOVE. The definition of JUDGEMENT ; the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions. PEACE!
Hello Mr. Vishen, I'm Ravindrasinh Rathod from India & I have practiced your 6 phase meditation. But I think I have something to polish your this meditation practice. So, if you don't mind may I share my knowledge with you & our community? I'm waiting for your response. Thank you.
i believe that could be better, about blessing, that the energy comes from inside of you, not outside; you have to convince yourself that YOU got the energy, YOU got the power to be happy, that it's in YOUR hand... not someone/somewhere else but Vishen is the expert, i'm just a slob for believers: in Italy there's a saying, that can be translated like "God helps those who help themselves", so start from inside, and maybe you got help from outside, but the big work is up to you
Vishen, very fascinating work. The first day I tried the 6 day meditation I felt like I was on top of the world but I couldn't get there again. I also joined Omvana but I couldn't find the music that accompanied your meditation in the 15 minute mind-hack; how can I find it? Last thing, if you are having problems coming up with enough things to visualise, what do you recommend? Especially with respect to forgiveness, I'll can count the people on 4 fingers that I have any recollection of holding a charge against. :-) I'm just not wired like that.
This feeled hypnotic. It was awesome. Never had some kind of experience before. Wow. Vishen, thank you very much for this. In 3 years, we might meet again, and I will thank you face to face. Best regards Kain
The guided meditation is at 22:20. Are there statistics about how well this works? Jeffrey Martin's Finder's Course claims that different things work for different people, so the plan has to include trial and error. But his goal (enlightenment) is different from Vishen's (having a good life). Maybe one-size-fits-all works better for Vishen's goal. It seems worth a try in any case.
This is a brilliant tutorial. I listened with suspicion initially but kept a open mind, and as a I got understand the concepts I learnt a lot. I too felt awesome. Now listening to the sukhimani shahib regularly now. Great job Vishen. Thank you.
Which exact energy healer did Vishen use when he hurt his arm playing with his kid ? Vishen, Lofty questions every morning. Technique, Book how to improve your eyesight.
at time mark 35.40,. during Vishen thanking the audience, a micro expression turns on at 35.41, and I am wondering what Vishen is thinking? I've seen this same micro expression at the conclusion of other talks during the thanking phase.
