@@WilliWil. their defence is ver stacked tbf. One of the best this tournament, just hasnt worked for them in the attack, still lots of good players there too
As a Barca fan, I am excited and scared for the future. He is the future but Im worried if this could become a Pedri 2.0 situation where hes so overused, he’ll be plagued with injuries.
He's played 60+ games this season. More than pedri. Gavi was overplayed and played like 65. It's a natural occurrence all balde, gavi, pedri and ansu fati who was playing with messi were all youngesters in their first breakout season shining and playing 60+ games. Next season= acls, lcls, ligaments, muscle injuries etc. pedri and gavi are an example getting injured non stop and as soon as they heal another one. Balde is currently injured too and fati fell off. Fati was as big or bigger than yamal also an African with Spanish citizenship on the wings that took over football at 18 and under but unfortunately the season after it goes downhill. Yamal will follow
@@user-ui6um6nt9v he played on average 60 mins per game in those 50 games for barca. Pedri played full 90 in over 70 games. You need to shut up lil bro
@@user-ui6um6nt9vansu fati's case is very different, he got injured in his knee when he was only 13 years old so has always had injury problems Furthermore, I know people want to see his down fall and such is the price it comes with greatness.
yamal scored an incredible goal. But we have to talk about olmo bro. Since euro 2020, with Spain he has always been world class. What a player, still too underrated.
Olmo is an amazing, under the radar player. It is players like him that show how many people lack ball knowledge, because like a lot of this spain team hes been showing how good he is for years now and its bizzare that before the tournament lots of people didnt even think they had a chance.
Same was said about ansu fati where is he now? Pedri gavi balde fati all overplayed 70 games a season and are absolute studs and the season after get acls and don't play at all
as a frenchman, i'm embarrassed and there needs to be change with the coach/team hierarchy. No more Deschamps and him relying on individual talent in Mbappe this coach has not played good football since the euros 2016. Yes, you could argue we won the WC in 2018 but my days we did not deserve it not one bit. on top of that, mbappe should not be captain. i understand he's the biggest star/brand/talent but he is simply a person who forces himself to be a leader because he cares far too much about his image. i'm also sick of the fact he doesn't defend anymore, in 2018 this guy was everywhere now he simply waits for the ball to come. dembele should never start he's a nostalgic joke who has no end product till this day. Bring in Mateta and Olise great talents who i believe could bring much more. I also hate the idea that deschamps would play a cb at rb which has been the case with pavard and kounde. good defensively but the technical side is simply not good enough. bring in Clauss this man is a pure wing back and theo could do the same we need to give the fullbacks more freedom as we have more than enough talent to cover them. utter embarrassment not gave af about winning today, full of chumps, bring in zidane set these boys right teach them the champion way.
@@clover6984& lost because the team was relying on Mbappe to carry them to the promise land but it didn’t work. That’s literally this guys point in his comment. It’s not the 2000s & early 2010s and 90s anymore. Individual football doesn’t win you games anymore. You need a full team effort. Take 2022 Argentina for example.
@@oprahside2.013Mbappe didn't carry the team in 2022 at all fella. The whole team did well. If anything for Argentina it was Messi carrying them more than what you said about Mbappe and France.
Dembele has been one of the most overhyped players in the past years mainly cause of pifa. The fact that they hired my man to replace neymar twice in a row is bizarre 😂
Honestly, I feel for Mbapee, man. Had the world on his shoulders, was expected to be the next GOAT and was hyped with Haaland to be the next generation. Unfortunately, he's edging to 26, "his prime" and be seems worse than when he was a 18-19Yr at the WC. I'm hoping this is just a one off and we can see him cook next season outside PSG
@user-ui6um6nt9v right except Ronaldo won, and this is just a few things, 2 Premier legaue titles, a Balon Dor, a golden boot, a champions league and player of the year. This was before he joined Madrid soooo
Once Mbappe gets settled into Madrid he'll begin cooking again he's had a rough year and a half / 2 years... world cup final loss, drama with PSG,etc he'll be back
Dani olmo isnt talked about enough sadly, this guy is easily been the player of the tourney and its not close. I haven’t seen dribbling like him since Iniesta
The regression of Dembele is crazy what happen to the guy. I've never seen a player that has so little end product. Constantly overhitting crosses, can rarely beat a first man with final ball pass and can't shoot to save his life. Its a shame.
this was what we had to deal with at barcelona, it’s nothing new he’s been like this for years. lamine is the greatest upgrade over him in that rw position for the club.
Yamal is sixteen, scores in a semifinal to tie the game, and he contributes greatly to advance to the final. Besides his talent in football you have to admire his character to face todays situation. And lets not forget that he outplayed Mbappe too.
A player I wanna give credit to is Barcola. When he came on he was very direct, he looked like he'd fit in with those Spanish wingers well. Imo he should start over Dembele even on the right.
Yamal’s performance against France gave me vibes of 18 year old Wayne Rooney against France back in 04 at the euros. Little experience but to dominate at 16 is incredible.
As Frenchman I am disgusted at the performance all tournament. We are lucky to be at semi final. I am glad we are out, I am so tired of Deschamps boring football and his obsession with Rabiot. I hope for Zidane and to see Camavinga play more.
Nobody is reaching that lol. The greatest rivalry of all time. Only if 2 other guys will dominate the season for 15 years with those numbers. And that's not likely
Definitely not Messi level but he can overtake ronaldo. Ronaldo at 24/25 had moved to real Madrid from united surrounded by great players with a ballon d or+ UCL. Mbappe has been carrying on his back his team everywhere and has a WC, WC finalist, WC golden boot etc and he might have a euros bronze medal after this if they win 3rd place. Make of it what you wish
15:47 no it hasn’t, it was Pogba. Because Pogba allowed Deschamps pragmatic, defensive football to work since he could transition defence to attack with one pass. Mbappe ghosted in the final and was gifted TWO penalties. His performance as a whole was horrible.
Barcola is criminally underrated, he always creates something coming off the bench for France and is one of few wingers who is still direct and takes on his man, he hasn’t gotten much attention not being a starter on France and being in mbappe’s shadow at psg, but with mbappe’s transfer I think people will start to realize his talent and potential.
@@laduaggrey8824 it's the fact that you can interpret what he said as a good or negative thing that makes it messed up. I personally had no problem with what he said but I can see why he's getting cooked online.
Great video and great stream. Really enjoy your comments on the various games. GG for picking Spain to win at the start, personally didn’t see it coming. Yamal was insane, buttery smooth in everything he does, amazing to watch.
Dont get me wrong i rate yamal even as a madrid fan but im seeing way to many mfs on twitter saying that he is clear of mbappe. People have Alzheimer's or something cause they forget teenage mbappe carried monaco to the semis of the cl and france in the wc
If yamal carries spain in wc 2026, then maybe. Dont forget hes 16 rn so if he wins wc at 18, then he can equal mbappes record. If he can carry barcelona, then he can hopefully get some trophies unlike mbappe. But yamal is not there yet.
Nick, i really Hope you get to see this comment. I’m a proud France Supporter since I’m 8 years old, and I was really disappointed seeing this team being carried by miracles and own goals, but I know you are not familiar with French media, but they’ve been criticizing this team a lot, so I think their criticism has been influential throughout the tournament. However, since 2022 WC, Deschamps substitutions have been weird for me, and his decisions may have changed the way some matches could’ve gone. I think he was a miracle for the French team when he arrived, but now it’s time to change tactics and find the solution to the main problem, find an offensive midfielder and balance our midfield. Like, France have so so many French players and we could build a great team; such as Olise, Cherki, Barcola, Zaïre-Emery, etc. As a fan, throughout the tournament, I was waiting for Griezmann and Mbappe to wake up, which didn’t really happened, so I hope this team finds a solution to this main problems and gets back to what they have been these last 8 years. As I said, I hope you get to see my comment and I wish you a very good night.
MBappe used to constantly miss those types of chances for PSG (I watched almost every game while Messi was there) but was always way more clinical for France. It sadly seems the PSG form has now grown over to his national team performances. True shame
This is exactly what happened in the WC final too, but there argentina was too lethargic and gave away 2 penalties for the comeback! Apart from that France was dead poor.
Why are we posing as if France was dominating the tournament and yamal then over performed? France has been poor all throughout the tournament while Spain collectively has been the better team of the tournament.
@@liamdamster stretch or not it's facts. Absurd how people talk about him like hes messi with a ballon D'or. 12 games 6 goals 0 assists this season against the weakest sides in la Liga that wouldn't survive the championship. La Liga is literally Ligue 1 with 2/3 psgs. Sorry to say I don't think he will even reach jese level. He's the only player in real without a UCL medal the coach doesn't even bring him off the bench for the last 5 minutes. The reason he's set up for failure at real is because real Madrid doesn't operate with attacking mids and when they sign one they are destroyed and graveyardshifted. Ozil and James Rodriguez are the recent examples. He's gonna get loaned out to Dortmund and sold to everton
@@user-ui6um6nt9v man stfu, we will see again where your barkalona will be next year. LaMinE hAs loSt every classisco last year LOL next Fati incoming.
At the end of the video, the last world cup, france plays best when griezmann is cooking. Griezmann carried their offense all throughout the tournament until the finals against argentina and France looked garbage when they just shut him down.
The more Mbappe has tried being the creative fulcrum of the team the more it has exposed his weaknesses. He played to his strengths at Monaco and in the first World Cup, then his ego got to him and he started believing he can be a creator. It's actually insane what he has been able to do with such limited technical ability. He's a faster Sylvain Wiltord, not even close to Anelka technically.
Dembele is SO frustrating to watch. He has literally every tool technically and physically to be the very best player in the world, but his soccer IQ hasn't improved since he was 17
I feel like overall the passion in euros was sooo fricken mid this year. But I feel like all these players look exhausted and they just look like they just clearly don't wanna be there especially France and England
I need zidane to save this national team Deschamps had the best team by far and he blew it. Zidane will be able to utilise mbappe on the left like Ronaldo Be able to use barcola effectively Use camavinga in a more attacking role
This game was honestly the most interesting game france played, and was only interesting because of Spain. Hell the comentator from my country was so excited he lost his voice in 30 minutes. Beautiful football by Spain.
Spain is gunna win the tournament hands down for the 4th time if i recall correctly. Only thing Spain is missing for the next world cup is a striker and another decent cb
Trust me I used to be the biggest Spain hater....thought they were too young or too old in key positions....but man was I wrong when you talk about teams with balance Spain has the best team left in the tourney. Rodri deserves a shout...kills it for both club and country. You're also forgetting all the guys on Spain that couldnt start due to yellows and injuries and they still roll on. Talk about passion up and down the team!
Dembeles issue is he moved too early and still had a lot of learning to do.. he made the same mistake as paul pogba.. he allowed the stature of clubs come before his football education and injuries aswell held him back.
Pogba was basically complete before going back to United, if anything United were the ones that wasted him and he took most of the blame as he was that talented and they were struggling
@@azgardian32odinson Pogba at Juventus were in his best position and got into the team of the year at 23, his holes in his game got exposed because he got put in a worse situation in the wrong position. It’s just like putting someone like Kante in the n10 position, he would look bad
@@Prime1Wunna no wrong!, if that’s true how did pjanic manage to outstat pogba? Also pogba wasn’t trying to do step overs 20 yards out from his own box because it at juve.. that is his DECISION making.. nothing to do with other players around him…. If he has stayed at juve and learned more off marchisio, Vidal, pirlo look at the football education he would have gotten.. he could have stayed and moved to United later and he would have been a far better player than he was.
I think mbappe should have more a of a free role ronaldo and messi played all over the attack just like mbappe should the problem is deshamps sticks him in the left win and when he allows him not to only be on the left he puts him as a striker and not as a free player
I've seen many great players have absolute stinkers in big games, finals, semi-finals etc. The fact that, in a game where we can all agree Mbappe wasn't playing at his best, still managed to get an assist to put France 1 up and finish the game with a 7.0 match rating, just shows what is expected of him. This was an average/below average game for him and he was still impactful. I think you are blowing his shortcomings a bit out of proportion. The France team just wasn't good enough and everyone felt the consequences of that. Spain has been the most impressive team from the jump and I really hope they win. The best football deserves to win, and that's what they have shown.
no i am sorry that this simply not good enough. this man is not only a football player he is a megastar who earns gazzilion with his brand deals and salary there is not excuse for our best to not show up today i understand not everyone can always show up but his body language is embarassing. no defensive effort, only cares when he receives ball at feet. this man 18-19 was everywhere a constant menace and an unstoppable cheetah. now? step over and pass orrrrrrr step over and shoot only for it to get blocked. as a frenchman, no we expected more from him and everyone on that field.
Its fairly easy to explain tbh. The mbappe dembele situation. U can see it with depay and other 'world class players to" bot everyone ofcourse. They get offered insane wages and they dont care anymore. I always thought mbappe had to much ego and confidance/arrogance, but if u give these guys insane amounts of money and transfer money they will act like they are already there and stop working. Dembele doesnt improve, mbappe goes to parties just like neymar did. U smack money on them and voila. If u give me 10million a year u can bet i will take it easy and dont do much no more tbh
Olmo is a problem, that guy is unreal. He is by far the most influential player for Spain along with Rodri. Now even more so with Pedri's absence. I do not think either England or Netherlands have the tools to stop these two.
No idea why Rabiot kept getting started. Camavinga for example was doing so much more and was a much better midfielder with connection to Tchouameni. Rabiot gave Yamal wayyyy too much space, as he shouldn’t have had the space to take the shot (crazy finesse shot btw, coming from a France fan).
@@joshuaadegbola5779 his a great player with great quality but man comparing him to zidan ? The guy with all due respect dribbles like agile halland i don't know is it bcs his tall but the way he dribble is not joy to eye he lack a lot at creating and passing but as a finisher and box cracher i tall you his the best but as a 10 as modric replacement i don't know
What annoys me is that so many underdog sides were working their asses off like turkey, switzerland and others and just happen to have gotten eliminated especially by france whwn they have been complete ass htf do you make it to the semi finals with zero goals from open play
I think its funny that people seem to think that Spain had a lesser team than france because their players are less "well known". The spain midfield of Rodri, Olmo and Ruiz are flat out insane and Morata (who didnt even score today) is the joint third top goalscoerer of all time in this tournament.
Daying dembele has been horrendous is a bad take tbh. Who tf else on france actually put in work lol. At least he got the ball moving and hes always involved in the attack lol
I'm praying Mbappe flops for Real Madrid it's gonna be so funny. Imagine he costs them 2m a week, along with a signing on fee of 130m only to be ABSOLUTELY SHIT. I will love it and I think I deserve. Also Yamal has been absolutely crazy. He's 16. I can't wait to see what he does in his prime. Barca already have a Messi regen.
