We had a fabulous day out, enjoyed it so much, the train experience was really special, someone kindly give me some great information about this train, really appreciate it thankyou.
It's a Class 109 DMU built in 1957 by D Wickham and co. The majority of them were exported to Trinidad but this one survvied before being completely restored and rebuilt in the early 2000s by the people at that railway. All Class 109s were retired by British Rail in 1971 having been deemed a failure.
