Sweet! I have a 1993 Nissan Atlas firetruck from a small village in Japan. Has original markings similar to this one and they left the lights and siren on it. Love it...even though it struggles just about on any incline. Going across the Cascades was...interesting. Definitely a head-turner.

Is it possible to turn this into an overlanding rig? I.e. lift it, put a ute bed on the back, maybe find a way to convert it to singles on the back axle

Great rig! Is it go outside to lock front hubs or from the cab? Whats the firebox resale worth? Id convert to flatbed and haul motorcycles in summer and snowbikes in winter. Im looking for one of these! Im a couple of months out to purchase. Diesel parts available?

Correct, manual locking front hubs! Parts are widely available on these 15B Engines as they were used worldwide in many many commercial Toyota trucks. Would recommend to inquire with used truck sales companies to find out any potential Firebox resale value.
