My Dad was stationed at a airbase in Thailand during the Vietnam War. They had these airplanes there. While on the flight line one night working, one of these was sitting there idling. It was a clear moonless night. All he could hear was the swishing sound of the propellers. He says they were equipped with mufflers on the engines to make them extra quiet for missions attacking the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Great job!
