Funny story about Ardglass Golf Course. They were going out of business, because people went to the better golf courses which were close to them, so they brought in an expert to rescue them. The main thing he did was tell them to multiply their green fees by 5. This is because tourists look at the most expensive green fees to decide which courses are best - and it worked instantly.

This is all very well but a night for 2 people in the Galgorm in May is over €500 with only breakfast included, extortionate pricing and another case of Irish hotels ripping people off, no reason why a hotel should be that expensive

Brilliant golf course,we went to Northern Ireland for my 40th birthday and played Galgorm castle on our last day,it was my birthday on the Saturday and we played Royal portrush valley course and it bloothered down,only managed 9 holes as we got soaked to the skin,Castlerock on the Friday was minted as well👌🏻👌🏻

I had a round booked at RCD and on the morning of my nephew stood on my foot and broke my toe! I played in agony and had to stop after nine! What a course but so personally disappointing.
Like a few others watched you spank Rick Shields on his youtube channel and was well impressed with your golf that day then you went and set a new ladies record on same course. Such a bubbly character and a great presenter. Keep up the good work Iona 👍
We had a 5 hours port stop in Belfast and chose a walking tour. Much of the host's presentation focused on the past violence and ongoing tensions. It was a bit depressing. I loved the countryside of UK, Ireland, and Scotland. Your video stokes my desire to stay longer and take the time to explore the countryside and take in some golf. Thank you.
