Well, while I didn't start riding until I was in my 50s, an Indian motorcycle was always my dream bike, having seen an old Chief when I was a child. I'm now 66 and a proud owner of an 2019 Indian Springfield. Dreams do come true, but sometimes take a long frickin time.
dreams come true for those who dream and do, your ride is absolutely your dream and I have the same dream (2018 elite rm) accomplished , congratulations and well deserved
Awesome Bike Brother! I met you in the parking lot of Boar's Nest this year, I'm definitely putting your conversion in my video, stop by and check it out. I hope you have a video of the conversion coming soon!
A SAD DAY IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN MOTORCYCLES, THAT THE ICONIC MACHINE KNOWN AS VINTAGE HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM PRODUCTION AFTER 2021. MY SERIOUS QUESTION IS WHY? IS THERE ANOTHER BIKE TO REPLACE IT WITH THE SAME LOOK AND FEEL OF ANTIQUITY? ANSWER IS SIMPLY, NO. POLARIS HAS MADE A POOR DECISION IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. IT'S NOT JUST ME EXPRESSING THIS, AS OTHERS HAVE RAISED THEIR VOICE AS WELL. BUT WE'RE JUST LITTLE PEOPLE. SURE, INDIAN HAS THE SPRINGFIELD, A BEAUTIFUL BIKE TOO, BUT NOT QUITE THE SAME AS VINTAGE. WHY BRING IT UP IF IT DOESN'T MAKE A MARK WITH POLARIS' DECISION? JUST BECAUSE WITH ENOUGH EXPRESSION, MAYBE THEY'LL REVERSE THAT POOR DECISION. PERHAPS NOT IN 2022, BUT COULD IT RETURN IN 23, OR 24? THAT REMAINS TO BE SEEN. AS A LIMITED LOW NUMBERED PRODUCTION, BUT THAT WOULD SUIT ME AND A FEW OTHER DIEHARD OLDE FOLKS WITH A TASTE FOR THE STYLE OF YESTERYEAR. JUST MY 2 CENTS WORTH. PASS IT ON TO POLARIS IF YOU DARE. SOMETIMES THOSE SITTING IN THEIR OVERSTUFFED, LEATHER, BOARD MEMBER CHAIRS, CIRCLING THE 'ROUND TABLE' MIGHT THINK TWICE.
