Hi I don’t do further maths would I be at a disadvantage if I were to do a maths degree next year or is all the a level further maths content covered??? Plz advise.

It’s not essential to do further maths to do a maths degree but it definitely does help! Most unis will take into consideration that not everyone dud further maths. Do check the requirements for the unis your applying to though !!

@@HarrySurplus I doing doing my a levels this year do you think it would be a good idea to learn and do AS further maths as I only have like 3 or 4 months when I go back to school for mocks I will speak i my teacher but regardless do you think it’s sensible/ do able? (I’d probably have a FM lesson everyday)?

I don't really like to think of studying by hours, i usually study until i've completed my work for the day... so it depends on how many lectures i have that day & what my plans are! this day was more hours than usual because i had an online exam so wanted to prepare for that throughout the day as you saw! but of course somedays i don't finish all my work so that rolls over to the next day etc! :))
