10 Muslim Misconceptions About Jesus Contrary to the Bible, Muslims view Jesus as one of their own prophets, though they do believe in his virgin birth, his God-given title of Messiah, his many miracles, his rejection by the Jews, his ascension into heaven, and his second coming. However, without knowing the Bible, Muslims do not understand how all of these things fit together. Please feel free to forward this to your Muslim friends to encourage discussions about the historical Jesus, as taught in the Bible. 1. The name "Isa" isn't correct. "Esau" was a different biblical character whose name means "hairy" (Ge 25:25). In the Old Testament, the name of God is Yahweh, and the name of Jesus is the Greek form of "Yeshua", which means "Yahweh alone is Savior". This is the name announced by the angel Gabriel, because "He will save his people from their sins." (Mt 1:21) 2. "Christ" (in the Greek) or "Messiah" means "Anointed One of Yahweh", the title given to the descendant of King David who would rule over Israel and the entire earth forever (Ps 2, Isa 9:7). Not surprisingly, many Old Testament descriptions of this figure are God-like. What is even more surprising, however, are the prophecies that state that the Messiah would be rejected and killed by his own people (Isa 53), yet somehow because of this, all nations on earth would turn to Yahweh and worship him (Ps 22:27, Isa 49:6-7). 3. The prophet Isaiah prophesied 700 years earlier that the Messiah would be born of a virgin (Isa 7:14). This ancient prophecy also stated that another name of his would be "Emmanuel", which means "God with us" (Mt 1:22-23). The virgin birth is the fulfillment of an even older prophecy given to Eve, right at the outset of humanity, that one day the "Seed of the Woman" would triumph over Satan (Ge 3:15). Jesus is not the Son of God because of the virgin birth (since God can create anything out of nothing). However, the virgin birth is one of many signs that point to Jesus' unique status as Son of God. 4. Jesus performed more amazing miracles than anyone. Sight to the blind (Jn 9), speech to the mute (Mk 7:35), and strength to the lame (Jn 5) were all special signs of the Messianic Age (Isa 35:5-6, Lk 7:22). God alone is the one who grants these powers to mankind (Ex 4:11). Jesus also befriended the despised and downtrodden (Mk 2:17), cured diseases (Lk 8:44), and released people from demonic possession (Mk 5:1-20), demonstrating that he was not just the King of Israel, but also the Great Physician and restorer of all broken humanity. Finally, Jesus could also raise the dead (Jn 11), forgive sins (Mk 2:10-11), and control nature with a mere word (Mk 4:35), things that only God can do. 5. Christians did not make Jesus a partner of God. He always WAS God and IS God (Jn 1:1). Christians agree unreservedly with Muslims that God is one (Mk 12:29, Dt 6:4), unique and unlike anyone or anything else in creation. He is beyond human senses and human comprehension, and even the angels cannot fully bear his sight (Isa 6:2). However, because of his great love for us, God has revealed himself in ways that humans could understand (theophanies), and many of these special occasions have been recorded in the Bible. When God spoke to Moses out of the burning bush (Ex 3), he was truly present in the bush and speaking directly to Moses. The bush was not "God's partner" nor was Moses worshipping a bush. Every time God manifests himself in the physical realm it is through the Word (Jn 1:18, Heb 1:3). God created the universe through his Word (Jn 1:3). The life of Jesus was the most complete revelation of God ever. Not just his words, but his entire human life was an exact representation of the divine character (Jn 1:14, Heb 1:3). This is why the disciple John calls Jesus the "Word of God". 6. As God, Jesus was the only human to ever to live a morally perfect life (2 Cor 5:21). Every word and action exactly displayed the perfect character of God (Jn 14:9-10). Unlike Muslims, Christians and Jews learn from the Bible that the prophets were human, just like us, and fallible. King David committed adultery (2 Sam 11), and Solomon's many wives led him into idolatry (1 Ki 11). While you may have not committed either of these particular sins, any hateful word, lustful look, or broken promise still falls far short of the perfection of God (Mt 5). God’s punishment for sin is death (Rom 6:23, Eze 18:20), so no human being could bear the sins of another, much less even his own. However, as the only one who could bear our sins, Jesus willingly offered his life as a sacrifice for us (John 10:18, Romans 3:25). In this way, God demonstrates both his justice (by exacting the punishment for sin) and mercy (by forgiving us and taking upon himself the consequences of our sin). 7. As the only divine human being, Jesus did not lord his special status over other human beings. He came not to be served, but to serve (Mk 10:45). He washed his disciples' feet, despite their objections (Jn 13:8). He never used his divine power to make his own life easier, as his greatest enemy, Satan, tempted him to do (Mt 4:1-11). Rather, he used his authority to demonstrate his true identity to his disciples and to lift the burdens of others (Mt 8:17). As a perfect human, Jesus also prayed and did everything in complete submission to the Father (Jn 17). Muslims are always fond to point out that Jesus stated that the Son can do nothing by himself and that he can only do what his Father shows him. However, Jesus immediately goes on to state that the Father does NOTHING WITHOUT THE SON (Jn 5:19). Father, Son, and Spirit are always united in thought and action (Ge 1:1-3, Jn 14). As human beings, we are not always in control of our mind or body, but God is always unified in his complete being, though this remains beyond our comprehension. 8. Jesus repeatedly told his disciples that his purpose was to die as a sacrifice for our sins (Mk 10:45). When his disciples objected to this, he rebuked them in the strongest possible terms (Mt 16:23). He challenged his disciples to follow him to his death (Mt 16:24). The Last Supper, beautifully portrayed by Leonardo da Vinci, shows the most solemn and important ceremony instituted by Jesus, in which Christians regularly commemorate his death by eating bread (his "body") and drinking wine (his "blood")(Lk 22:19-20). The original Last Supper was a celebration of the Jewish Passover (Lk 22:8), which commemorates God's deliverance from Egypt and the birth of the nation of Israel (Ex 12). In it, a lamb is slaughtered, and the firstborn sons of Israel were spared from the angel of death if the doorposts of their house were covered by the blood of the lamb. It is no accident that Jesus died during the Passover feast, which is why he is called the "Lamb of God" (Jn 1:29). There is no confusion over the death of Jesus. He was condemned to death in a public trial before Pontius Pilate (Mk 15). He was nailed to the cross by the Romans and spoke to his mother and his disciples from the cross (Jn 19:26). During the torture of crucifixion, you need to flex and extend your legs just to breathe, but Jesus died and was no longer moving his legs, so everyone knew he was dead. They did not have to break his legs to stop his breathing (Jn 19:33). This also explains why the ancient Israelites were not allowed to break any of the bones of the Passover lamb (Ex 12:46). God is not a God of deception. If he had chosen to vindicate his servant by miraculously saving him, he would have made this clear to everyone including his enemies and his followers. Instead, history unambiguously records that Jesus truly died. 9. But God did vindicate his servant by raising him from the dead. After Jesus had completed all of his work, he fully rested on the Sabbath. He was then raised to life on the first day of the week, which is why Christians worship on Sunday. He showed his pierced hands to prove that it was truly him in the flesh (Jn 20:27) and that he had the authority to lay down his life and take it up again (Jn 10:18). Jesus spoke, walked, and ate with his disciples over a period of 40 days (Acts 1:3). After 40 days, he ascended into heaven, promising to return again (Acts 1:11). When he returns, it will not be as a suffering servant but as the everlasting king of kings. All human beings are faced with the question of whether there is life after death. The Resurrection answers this question with an emphatic yes! Jesus promised that if we follow him, we will be raised just like him (Jn 11:25). 10. The Injil, that is, Gospel or "Good News", about Jesus is for all nations. Jesus said that he was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel because he was their king, and it was his mission to suffer and die for them. However, Jesus taught his disciples to proclaim his death and resurrection and to make disciples of all nations (1 Cor 11:26, Acts 1:8, Mt 28:16-20). He charged his disciples with preserving the truth of the gospel and protecting it from false teachers and false prophets (Mt 7:15-20, Mt 24:23-26). He also promised that the Holy Spirit would give them the words to say (Lk 24:15, Jn 14:26, Acts 1:8), so that their words would be the very words of God. Jesus’ disciples recorded his teachings and his life story for all time (Lk 1:1-4, Jn 20:31), and we have their testimony preserved in the New Testament. In his great mercy, God made Jesus not only the Savior of Israel, but also the great hope of the entire world, just as he promised through the Scriptures. Will you believe the Good News and follow Jesus the Messiah as Lord and Savior? (Please read around the Scripture references to confirm that everything I have said is true. You will also find many other convincing proofs that the Gospel is real!)

Similarities between Hinduism Islam 1. Definition of a Hindu The word Hindu has geographical significance and was used originally for those people who lived beyond the river Sindhu or the region watered by the river Indus. Some historians say that it was first used by the Persians who came to India through the north western passes of the Himalayas. The word Hindu is no where mentioned in Indian literature or scriptures before the advent of Muslims to India, according to the Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics. According to Jawaharlal Nehru in the book Discovery of India on page 74-75, he writes that the earliest reference to the word Hindu can be traced to a tantrik of the 8th Century CE, where it means a people and not a follower of a particular religion. The use of the word Hindu in connection with a particular religion is of late occurrence. In short Hindu is a geographical definition used for the people living beyond the river Indus or those living in India 2. Definition of Hinduism a) Hinduism has been derived from the word Hindu. Hinduism was a name given in English language in the Nineteenth Century by the English people to the multiplicity of the beliefs and faith of the people of the Indus land. According to New Encyclopedia Britannica 20:581. The British writers in 1830 gave the word Hinduism to be used as the common name for all the beliefs of the people of India excluding the Muslims and converted Christians. b) The term Hinduism is misleading because though it suggests the unified system of beliefs and ideas, it is certainly not the case. Hinduism is too broad a phenomenon to be confined to a usual definitions of religions. It does not owe its origin, formation or finalization to any historical person or a prophet since there is no uniformly accepted belief sacraments, rituals and practices in Hinduism, there are no criteria for establishing rules in Hinduism. In short a person who calls himself a Hindu becomes a true practicing Hindu irrespective who he worships and what ever may be his beliefs and practice. c) According to the Hindu scholars Hinduism is a misnomer and it should be referred a Sanatana Dharma, meaning eternal religion or Vedic Dharma meaning religion of the Veda. According to Swami Vivekananda the followers of this religion is referred as Vedantist. B. Introduction of Islam 1. Definition of Islam Islam is an Arabic word which comes from the word ‘Salaam’ which means ‘Peace’. It also means submitting your will to Allah - the Almighty God. In short Islam means peace acquired by submitting your will to Allah (SWT). 2. Definition of a Muslim A Muslim is a person who submits his will to Allah - the Almighty God. 3. Misconception about Islam Many people have a misconception that Islam is a new religion which came into existence 1400 years ago and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the founder of the religion of Islam. Infact Islam is there since time immemorial, since man set foot on the earth. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is not the founder of the religion of Islam but he is the last and final messenger of Islam. II. Pillars of Faith (Imaan) - Pillars of Hinduism Pillars of Faith in Hinduism are not defined. As mentioned earlier that Hinduism does not have a set of unified or codified beliefs. Neither does it have any fixed pillars or principles which are obligatory for its followers to practice. A Hindu has a freedom to

*And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?'" He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen). "Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say: 'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world). Qur'an Surah Mai'idah 5 Verses 116-117. Translated by Al-Hilali and Muhsin Khan.*

@@yestofuture.byethost5._om yh you got all the facts wrong. the bible has been changed countless amounts of time to fit society’s standards. the Quran has never been changed. There are no contradictions either. And by the way. Jesus never in his life said that he is God so why are you going against him and worshiping him.

@yestofuture.byethost5._om 3 года назад
@@user-hh3go9po3v Replying to your queries... 1. You have not investigated how the Bible came about. The earliest manuscripts dating less than 100 AD are still around . In the old days they copy and copy ( without photostate machine) and more than 10,000 pieces of manuscripts still available. Thus can spot copying error by comparing one with another . Please visit musuem of London and others ( Russia, Israel, Vatican, etc). Quran came 600 years after Christ without any eyewitness account unlike the new testament of the Bible with both Christians and non Christians eye witness such as.. The Babylonian Talmud (70AD) - Jewish records - recorded Jesus ' execution Lucian of Samosata (115AD) -Greek record - recorded that Jesus was crucified. Pliny the Younger (AD61) - Governor Bithynia - recorded people at that time already worshipped Jesus. Cornelius Tacitus (AD 56) - Senator and hostorian of Roman Empire - recorded Jesus suffered extreme penalty and was sentenced by Pontius Pilate as recorded in the Bible. Flavius Josephus (AD 37) - Jewish (Hebrew) historian -Pilate condemned Jesus to be crucified Phlegon of Tralles (AD 80) - Greek historian - darkess over the earth at the time of Jesus 's crucifixion Thallus (AD 55) - Greek historian - detail Jesus crucifixion. So is Quran text reliable?.. 1. Any contradiction? Quran 10:3 ( creation 6 days) Quran 41:9-12(8 days); quran 39:4 (Allah can have a son) quran 6:101( cannot have a son), ; quran 2:107(angel can't protect u), quran 41:31(angel can protect u), Quran 34:44 (no messenger before Muhammad), quran 10:47 ( every nation had a messenger), quran 109:6 (freedom of relgion), Quran 9:29 ( fight non muslim), quran 5:90 (cannot drink wine) , quran 83:22-25 , 47:15 ( can drink wine ) , etc. 2.Is it scientific? Quran 67:5 ( stars to thrown at devils ); Quran 27:18-19 ( Solomon talking to the ants , unfortunately ants has no hearing but using smell ), Quran 88:20. (Flat earth), Quran 54:1(Moon was split in 2) ,etc. 3.Is Allah a great deceiver ? The Quran describes Allah as the best deceiver there is, a liar who is not above using the same evil and wicked schemes of his opponents. For example, the Quran calls Allah a makr, in fact the best makr there is: But they (the Jews) were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers (Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru al-makireena)! S. 3:54; cf. 8:30 Thus, the Quran unashamedly calls Muhammad’s god the best liar and deceiver of them all! It even dares to say that ALL deception belongs completely to Allah: And verily, those before them did deceive/scheme (makara), but all deception/scheming is Allah's (falillahi al-makru). He knows what every person earns, and the disbelievers will know who gets the good end. S. 13:42 4. Is there a sex party in heaven? It was narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal that: the Messenger of Allah said: "No woman annoys her husband but his wife among the Houris of Paradise says: 'Do not annoy him, may Allah destroy you,Sunan Ibn Majah Volume 5, Book 37, Hadith 4337-“Abu Umama narrated: "The Messenger of God said, 'Everyone that God admits into paradise will be married to 72 wives; two of them are houris and seventy of his inheritance of the female dwellers of hell. All of them will have libidinous sex organs and he will have an ever-erect penis.” But, what about, if you’re married? No problem: You still get better and improved wives: Sunan Ibn Majah Volume 3, Book 9, Hadith 2014- for he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he will leave you and join us."' For Muhammad, his 11 wives were only ‘temporary wives’. If he gets to Paradise, he’ll get new wives from above virginal ‘Houris’. Conclusion: Whose writings? Your last question.. Explaining Trinity of God --------------------------------------- 1. Mathematical analogy. God is 3 in 1 ( 1×1×1=1). God is uniquely 3 in 1 . ( 1(Father) ×1(Jesus)×1(Holy Spirit) =1(God ). *Father is God *Jesus is God *Holy Spirit is God 2. Visual - seeing is believing. Matthew 3: 16-17 "As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” *Spirit of God- Dove (Holy Spirit) *Voice from heaven (Father) *Jesus (the Son) 3. Human analogy: Human being. GOD --------------------- --------- John. Father Elizabeth. Jesus Andrew. Holy Spirit John, Andrew and Elizabeth, all are human being ( only 1 kind of human being) but have some differences among them . Nobody is less human than the other but they may have diiferent role. Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit likewise are all God. One God but they are 3 distinct persons in the Godhead. Hope you can understand this analogy on the Trinity of God. One of them (ie Jesus) came down to earth through Mary who gave birth to Jesus. Mary was an earthly mother not a heavenly mother as some may misunderstand. Those who have faith in Jesus shall be cleanse from their sin and become children of God. Did Jesus claim to be God ? Yes. Why ? Read John 13:13, John 8:58 , Revelation 22:13, etc. Example: John 13:13, "Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am." Revelation 1:8 8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, he Almighty.” John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. "Word "here is Jesus. John 1:14, And the "Word "was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John 14:9-10 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority.Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. www.yestofuture.byethost5.com

. Mistake in the Concept of Karma Hindus believe in Karma (i.e. the accumulated sum of one’s good and bad deeds) and in Punarjanma (i.e. the transfer of one’s soul after death into another body). This produces a continuing cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth through their many lifetimes. It is Karma that determines how a person will live his next life. Through pure acts, thoughts and devotion, one can be reborn at a higher level. Bad deeds can cause a person to be reborn at a lower level, even as an animal. The unequal distribution of wealth, prestige, suffering are thus seen as natural consequences for one’s previous acts, both in this life and in previous lives. Bhagavad Gita’s emphasis is on “Karma Yoga” which means the performance of one’s duties with no regard to their fruits, as expressed in the words of Krishna to Arjuna: You have a duty to perform your prescribed action, but you should not be concerned about the fruits of your action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be associated to not doing your duty. (Bhagavad Gita 2:47) Addressing Arjuna’s compunctions about killing his relatives arrayed on the enemy side, Krishna advises him to disregard traditional values and act without worrying about the results of his action. Krishna says: The wise men who reached true knowledge see with equal vision a Brahmin (a member of the highest caste), a cow, an elephant, a dog and a dog-eater. (Bhagavad Gita 5:18). Krishna argues that it is actually impossible to kill anyone, as the soul (atman) is immortal: Those who think that they can kill or those that think they can be killed are confused in the manifestations of ignorance. The infinite, immortal soul can neither kill nor be killed. (Bhagavad Gita 2:19) Therefore Arjuna is free to kill his relatives, considering them only temporary abiding forms for the eternal self, mere mortal frames. The problem here is that the same perspective of moral values (Gita 2:19, quoted above) may be adopted by a wicked person to clear his conscience while doing evil acts, if “detachment” is the norm. The only condition is that he should rise above all material considerations to do his deeds. Krishna tells Arjuna: Consider all your acts as acts of devotion to me, whether eating, offering, giving away, performing austerities. Perform them as an offering to me. In this way you will be free from Karma, you will be liberated and you will come to me. (Bhagavad Gita 9:27). To the Hindus, Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. Karma continues until one attains Moksha or Mukti, i.e. liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth to be one with the Parmatma or the Oversoul. That is to say, Karma creates present and future experiences. But in the Gita itself, Lord Krishna says that he saves those who worship him (12:6-7) and punishes those who are envious and mischievous (16:19). This is certainly a contradiction of the law of Karma, which is a law that functions by itself, with no external control. And also it goes counter to his teaching about detachment. He says about himself: “I see all creatures equally disposed and I am not partial to anyone.” (Bhagavad Gita 9:29). At the same time Krishna is in fact partial to Arjuna in the battlefield, by serving as his charioteer and military advisor! There is another inconsistency regarding the character of Krishna. In the Gita, Krishna is called the Supreme Lord of the Universe (5:29), eternal (4:6) and the source of all existence: I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from me. (Bhagavad Gita 10:8) And again: At the end of an era (kalpa) all creatures disintegrate into my nature and at the beginning of another era I manifest them again. Such it is my nature (prakriti) to follow again and again the pattern of the Infinite manifestations and disintegrations. (Bhagavad Gita 9:7-8) That is to say, Krishna has to follow the pattern of the Infinite manifestations and disintegrations automatically, under the obligation of prakriti“. Krishna‘s Contradictions Dasgupta comments on the contradictory personal character of Krishna saying that: The Gita combines together different conceptions of God without feeling the necessity of reconciling the oppositions or contradictions involved in them. It does not seem to be aware of the philosophical difficulty of combining the concept of God as unmanifested, differenceless entity with the notion of Him as the super-person Who incarnates Himself on earth in the human form and behaves in the human manner. It is not aware of the difficulty that, if all good and evil should have emanated from God, and if there be ultimately no moral responsibility, and if everything in the world should have the same place in God, there is no reason why God should trouble to incarnate Himself as man, when there is a disturbance of the Vedic dharma. If God is impartial to all, and if He is absolutely unperturbed, why should He favor the man who clings to Him, and why, for his sake, overrule the world-order of events and in his favor suspend the law of Karma? (S. Dasgupta,Indian Philosophy, Motilal Banarsidass, 1991, vol. 2, p. 533) The Conglomeration of Hinduism Hinduism is often described as polytheistic religion, one which worships several gods and goddesses. But at the same time it is also viewed as a monotheistic religion, because it recognizes the pantheistic principle of Brahman that all reality is a unity. And some view Hinduism as tritheistic, because of their belief in Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer. In short, Hinduism is an utterly diverse conglomerate of doctrines, cults, and ways of life. It is both a civilization and a complex of religious philosophies, with neither a beginning, nor a founder, nor a central authority, hierarchy, or organization. And its advocates often counter critics by saying that the contradictions and incongruities in Hinduism serve to show its comprehensive nature as a sign of its strength rather than of weakness. I hope this answers your question. Please keep in

Concept of God in Islam Monotheism, belief in one God, is the most important and foundational concept in Islam. Muslims believe in one God who created the universe and has power over everything within it. He is unique and exalted above everything He creates, and His greatness cannot be compared to His creation. Furthermore, He is the only one deserving of any worship and the ultimate purpose of all creation is to submit to Him. The Islamic understanding of God is distinct from all other religions and beliefs in various respects since it is based on a pure and clear understanding of monotheism. This essentially captures the concept of God in Islam, which will be further elaborated in this pamphlet. Muslims often refer to God as Allah. This is a universal name for God and does not refer to an exclusively ‘Islamic’ God. Interestingly, this name is related to the Aramaic and Hebrew names for God, Allaha and Elohim. Therefore, Allah is simply the Arabic name for God which affirms that He is One singular God with no partners or equals. The name Allah cannot be pluralized or limited to a specific gender, which establishes that God is One and that He is unique from everything He creates. Muslims continue to use this original Arabic name for God (Allah) since it perfectly expresses His unique qualities. God is the Creator and the Sustainer of the universe who created everything for a reason. Muslims believe that He created humankind with a simple purpose - to worship Him. He sent messengers to guide people in fulfilling this purpose. Some of these messengers include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon all of them. They all taught a consistent message about God by affirming His greatness as the Creator and guiding people to worship Him alone. This basic concept has always resonated with people’s natural understanding of God. (Click here to learn more about prophets in Islam.) When the final prophet, Muhammad, peace be upon him (pbuh), was asked about God, the answer came directly from God in the holy book of Muslims, the Quran (also spelled ‘Koran’): “Say, ‘He is God the One, God the eternal. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to Him.’” [112:1-4] This is a clear statement by God describing Himself to humanity without any room for confusion. God is One and is exalted above everything He creates and He is capable over all things. Fully accepting the oneness of God is to accept that He is distinct from everything else. It would not suit God’s majesty and glory to associate the limited attributes of His creation to Him because He is not restricted in any way, while His creation is. He is the First with no beginning and the Last with no end. Everything in the universe was created by His will. He is not confined by space or time and He is the only One who is in control and provides for His creation. “He is God: there is no god other than Him. It is He who knows what is hidden as well as what is in the open, He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy. He is God: there is no god other than Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security, Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great; God is far above anything they consider to be His partner. He is God: the Creator, the Originator, the Shaper. The best names belong to Him. Everything in the heavens and earth glorifies Him: He is the Almighty, the Wise.” [Quran, 59:22-24] Why did God create people whom He already knew would reject Him and go to hell? Shouldn’t God who is All Loving instead not create them so that they won’t go through punishment? These are some common questions connected to this topic. Answered by Nouman Ali Khan Pure Monotheism “God: there is no god but Him, the Ever Living, the Ever Watchful. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. All that is in the heavens and in the earth belongs to Him. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His leave? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they do not comprehend any of His knowledge except what He wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the earth; it does not weary Him to preserve them both. He is the Most High, the Tremendous.” [Quran, 2:255] The primary pillar of Islamic belief clearly states that there is nothing worthy of worship except God. Associating partners with God or attributing qualities of lesser beings to Him is considered to be the greatest sin in Islam. In the past, this often took the form of idol worship or praying to multiple lesser gods. Although this is less common now, the current era has replaced many of the physical ‘idols’ of the past with other contemporary ‘gods.’ Many people today allow passions like entertainment, drugs, relationships or material objects to become the center of their lives. They become so consumed with these things that they submit to whatever will allow them to fulfill their desires. For example, if a drug addict allows their addiction to control their actions, beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, causing them to risk their personal safety and the safety of others, that drug has essentially become their god. Likewise, if another person puts a loved one before God by obeying that person even if that causes them to transgress against God’s commands, their loved one has taken precedence over God. Islam teaches that people should completely submit only to God as He is the only One worthy of their worship. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it belongs to Him. The Quran points out the faulty thinking of those who worship other than God: “‘How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?’” [37:95-96]

Further more, it is mentioned in the Bible in 2nd Samuel, Chapter No. 6, Verse No 23, that… ‘Michael the daughter of Saul - she had no sons’ - 2nd Samuel’, Chapter 21, Verse No. 8… ‘Michael the daughter of Saul had 5 sons.’ One place it says… ‘No children, no son, no daughter’ - Other place… ‘5 sons.’ Further more if you read, it is mentioned in Gospel of Mathew, Chapter No. 1, Verse No. 16 - it says about the genealogy of Jesus Christ peace be upon him - as well as Luke Chapter No. 3, Verse No. 23, and it says that… Jesus’ father, that is Joseph - his father was Jacob’ - Mathew, Chapter 1, Verse 16. And Luke, Chapter No 3, Verse No 23… Jesus’ father… Joseph - his father was Hailey. Did Jesus’ father… Joseph, had two fathers ? What do you call a person who has got two fathers ? Or was it Hailey - or was it Jacob ? Clear-cut contradiction.

In search of truth is the most important thing i.e finding the true God. Quran came 600 years after Christ without any eyewitness account unlike the new testament of the Bible with eye witness from the Christians and non christians. So , is Quran information reliable? 2.Is it scientific or conform to science? Quran 67:5 ( stars to thrown at devils ); Quran 27:18-19 ( Solomon talking to the ants , unfortunately ants has no hearing but using smell ), Quran 88:20. (Flat earth), Quran 54:1(Moon was split in 2) ,etc. 3.Is Allah the great deceiver ? The Quran describes Allah as the best deceiver there is, a liar who is not above using the same evil and wicked schemes of his opponents. For example, the Quran calls Allah a makr, in fact the best makr there is: But they (the Jews) were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers (Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru al-makireena)! Surah 3:54; Surah 8:30 Thus, the Quran unashamedly calls Muhammad’s god the best liar and deceiver of them all! It even dares to say that ALL deception belongs completely to Allah: And verily, those before them did deceive/scheme (makara), but all deception/scheming is Allah's (falillahi al-makru). He knows what every person earns, and the disbelievers will know who gets the good end. Surah 13:42 4. Man or God.? You need to research more . E.g. Was Jacob or Heli The Father of Joseph? (Matthew 1:16; Luke 3:23) Matthew 1:16: "And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ." Luke 3:23: "Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli" In order to solve this alleged discrepancy, it must be understood that Matthew's account is giving the genealogy of Joseph while Luke gives the genealogy of Mary. This is borne out by the fact that in Matthew's account the virgin conception account is told from Joseph's perspective in Matthew 1:18-25; while Luke, who most likely gathers much of his information from eyewitnesses (including Mary) told the virgin conception account from Mary's perspective (Luke 1:1-4). Why then is Joseph mentioned in both lists of genealogies (Matthew 1:16; Luke 3:23)? First, Matthew is giving the genealogy of Joseph and Luke is following the Hebraic, traditional form of genealogies by listing only the male names in which Mary is designated by her husband's name. Furthermore, the Hebrews used the word "son" in different senses, referring to... One generation (example: Solomon was the "son of" David - Matthew 1:6) A remote descendant (such as a grandson, great-grandson, etc. - Matthew 1:1; 21:9; 22:42) A son-in-law (cf. 1 Samuel 24:16; 26:17) [This makes sense in the context that Joseph was the "son" (son-in-law) of Heli.] The Levirate marriage law (Deuteronomy 25:5-10; Matthew 22:24-26) A step-son who took on the legal status of his step-father (which is what Jesus was to Joseph - Matthew 13:55; Mark 6:3; Luke 3:23; 4:22; John 6:42) Another reason why Matthew and Luke's lists vary is because Matthew's purpose is to prove to the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah. The Jews would have recognized from this genealogical list that Jesus had the legal right to inherit the throne of David (Isaiah 9:6,7; Matthew 22:41-45; Luke 1:32), which was an essential component if Jesus was truly the Messiah. Luke's purpose was to show from Mary's genealogy that she came from the blood-line of David which showed that Jesus was a blood-line descendant of David (see 2 Samuel 7:12-14).

The Birth of Jesus in the Quran Jesus’ mother, Mary was a special child from birth. When she was born, her mother prayed to Allah that she and her descendants stay safe from the clutches of Satan. But when she delivered her, she said, “My Lord, I have delivered a female.” And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, “And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]. (Quran 3:36) Soon after she was left under the guardianship of Zechariah, she could spend her life worshiping Allah. She was a very pious and chaste woman. The birth of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was no ordinary birth. It was a miracle! When Mary found out that she was expecting a child, she was very confused: She said, ‘My Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?’ [The angel] said, ‘Such is Allah; He creates what He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.’ (Quran 3:47) Thereafter, Mary submitted to the will of Allah (SWT) and secluded herself from society and gave birth to Jesus under a date palm tree, which served as her source of nourishment during labor. When she returned to her people with a son in hand, she was denounced and condemned for supposedly falling in sin but that did not deter Mary as her faith in Allah (SWT) was supreme and unrelenting. Allah (SWT) did not leave Mary alone. He had granted several miracles to the child Jesus, who was a miracle himself. As the people were doubting Mary, Jesus spoke from his cradle, thereby astonishing the people and confirming Mary’s story. Hence, Jesus was born. Apart from talking since infancy, Prophet Isa (AS) had other gifts from Allah (SWT): And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], ‘Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allah . And I cure the blind and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allah… (Quran 3:49) Jesus (peace be upon him) was a miracle from Allah (SWT) for the people of Israel

Your Jesus is a different Jesus of the Bible. Jesus of the Bible is God that die for the sins of mankind and resurrected on the 3rd day. Jesus of the Bible was not born under a palm tree but in a manger. In search of truth is the most important thing i.e finding the true God. Quran came 600 years after Christ without any eyewitness account unlike the new testament of the Bible with eye witness from the Christians and non christians. So , is Quran text reliable? Man or God.? If I tell these things in my house they feel very offended and they scolds me and say "these children nowadays is so disobedient ,but children of their days were so obidient and they would not reply back." I ask questions , so they try to say that 'what Islam says is okay.. But it won't work practical it is only theoritical.and we're living around people not in jungle so we have to follow society" . How can I explain and convince them?!

History of Christmas BY HISTORY.COM EDITORS Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. For two millennia, people around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature. Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive. December 25-Christmas Day-has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1870. How Did Christmas Start? The middle of winter has long been a time of celebration around the world. Centuries before the arrival of the man called Jesus, early Europeans celebrated light and birth in the darkest days of winter. Many peoples rejoiced during the winter solstice, when the worst of the winter was behind them and they could look forward to longer days and extended hours of sunlight. In Scandinavia, the Norse celebrated Yule from December 21, the winter solstice, through January. In recognition of the return of the sun, fathers and sons would bring home large logs, which they would set on fire. The people would feast until the log burned out, which could take as many as 12 days. The Norse believed that each spark from the fire represented a new pig or calf that would be born during the coming year. Decorated trees date back to Germany in the Middle Ages, with German and other European settlers popularizing Christmas trees in America by the early 19th century. Since 1925, first known as the Missouri Rockets, this iconic dance troupe has been kicking up its heels, officially becoming the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes in 1934. They're best known for their annual Christmas show. The end of December was a perfect time for celebration in most areas of Europe. At that time of year, most cattle were slaughtered so they would not have to be fed during the winter. For many, it was the only time of year when they had a supply of fresh meat. In addition, most wine and beer made during the year was finally fermented and ready for drinking. In Germany, people honored the pagan god Oden during the mid-winter holiday. Germans were terrified of Oden, as they believed he made nocturnal flights through the sky to observe his people, and then decide who would prosper or perish. Because of his presence, many people chose to stay inside. Saturnalia In Rome, where winters were not as harsh as those in the far north, Saturnalia-a holiday in honor of Saturn, the god of agriculture-was celebrated. Beginning in the week leading up to the winter solstice and continuing for a full month, Saturnalia was a hedonistic time, when food and drink were plentiful and the normal Roman social order was turned upside down. For a month, slaves would become masters. Peasants were in command of the city. Business and schools were closed so that everyone could join in the fun. Also around the time of the winter solstice, Romans observed Juvenalia, a feast honoring the children of Rome. In addition, members of the upper classes often celebrated the birthday of Mithra, the god of the unconquerable sun, on December 25. It was believed that Mithra, an infant god, was born of a rock. For some Romans, Mithra’s birthday was the most sacred day of the year. Is Christmas Really the Day Jesus Was Born? In the early years of Christianity, Easter was the main holiday; the birth of Jesus was not celebrated. In the fourth century, church officials decided to institute the birth of Jesus as a holiday. Unfortunately, the Bible does not mention date for his birth (a fact Puritans later pointed out in order to deny the legitimacy of the celebration). Although some evidence suggests that his birth may have occurred in the spring (why would shepherds be herding in the middle of winter?), Pope Julius I chose December 25. It is commonly believed that the church chose this date in an effort to adopt and absorb the traditions of the pagan Saturnalia festival. First called the Feast of the Nativity, the custom spread to Egypt by 432 and to England by the end of the sixth century. By the end of the eighth century, the celebration of Christmas had spread all the way to Scandinavia. Today, in the Greek and Russian orthodox churches, Christmas is celebrated 13 to 14 days after the 25th. This is because Western churches use the Gregorian Calendar, while Eastern Churches use the Julian Calendar, which is 13 to 14 days behind the Gregorian Calendar. Both Western and Eastern churches celebrate Epiphany or Three Kings Day 12 days after their own respective Christmases. This is the day it is believed that the three wise men finally found Jesus in the manger. By holding Christmas at the same time as traditional winter solstice festivals, church leaders increased the chances that Christmas would be popularly embraced, but gave up the ability to dictate how it was celebrated. By the Middle Ages, Christianity had, for the most part, replaced pagan religion. On Christmas, believers attended church, then celebrated raucously in a drunken, carnival-like atmosphere similar to today’s Mardi Gras. Each year, a beggar or student would be crowned the “lord of misrule” and eager celebrants played the part of his subjects. The poor would go to the houses of the rich and demand their best food and drink. If owners failed to comply, their visitors would most likely terrorize them with mischief. Christmas became the time of year when the upper classes could repay their real or imagined “debt” to society by entertaining less fortunate www.history.com/topics/christmas/history-of-christmas

No one knows the time of year when Jesus was born, but it's good to celebrate ... notice how many festivals Jews keep, and that was because God wanted to call them into remembrance at those times. The death and resurrection of Christ are the big things to celebrate in Christianity, as that is the very reason He came, to enable our sins to be fairly forgiven. Which a person is free to reject of course, but one should go the way God has set if one wants to be pleasing to Him. We do have a witness in Christianity of the truths of all these things in the presence and operation of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Sadly Mohammed did not read about Him and His coming to christian believers in Acts, as confirmation of the christian message, and thought that the holy spirit referred to an angel.

Official written copy by Uthman The Quran was originally revealed in Quraishi dialect of Arabic. But to facilitate the people who speak other dialects, in their understanding and comprehension, Allah revealed the Quran finally in seven dialects of Arabic. During the period of Caliph Uthman (third successor to the Prophet) differences in reading the Quran among the various tribes became obvious, due to the various dialectical recitations. Dispute was arising, with each tribe calling its recitation as the correct one. This alarmed Uthman, who made an official copy in the Quraishi dialect, the dialect in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet and was memorized by his companions. Thus this compilation by Uthman's Committee is not a different version of the Quran (like the Biblical versions) but the same original revelation given to the Prophet by One God, Allah. Narrated Anas bin Malik: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham (Syria) and the people of Iraq were waging war to conquer Armenia and Azherbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their differences in the recitation of the Quran, so he said to Uthman, 'O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and Christians did before'. So Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, 'Send us the manuscripts of the Quran so that we may compile the Quranic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you'. Hafsa sent it to Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair, Said bin Al-As and Abdur Rahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, 'In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Quran, then write it in their (Quraishi) tongue'. They did so, and when they had written many copies, Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied and ordered that all the other Quranic materials whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt…" [29] Again a very stringent criteria was set up by this Committee to prevent any alteration of the Revelation. 1. The earlier recension (Original copy prepared by Abu Bakr) was to serve as the principal basis of the new one. [30] 2. Any doubt that might be raised as to the phrasing of a particular passage in the written text was to be dispelled by summoning persons known to have learned the passage in question from the Prophet. [31] 3. Uthman himself was to supervise the work of the Council. [32] When the final recension was completed, Uthman sent a copy of it to each of the major cities of Makka, Damascus, Kufa, Basra and Madina. The action of Uthman to burn the other copies besides the final recension, though obviously drastic, was for the betterment and harmony of the whole community and was unanimously approved by the Companions of the Prophet. Zaid ibn Thabit is reported to have said: "I saw the Companions of Muhammad (going about) saying, 'By God, Uthman has done well! By God, Uthman has done well!" [33] Another esteemed Companion Musab ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas said: "I saw the people assemble in large number at Uthman's burning of the prescribed copies (of the Quran), and they were all pleased with his action; not a one spoke out against him". [34] Ali ibn Abu Talib, the cousin of the Prophet and the fourth successor to the Prophet commented: "If I were in command in place of Uthman, I would have done the same". [35] Of the copies made by Uthman, two still exist to our day. One is in the city of Tashkent, (Uzbekistan) and the second one is in Istanbul (Turkey). Below is a brief account of both these copies: 1. The copy which Uthman sent to Madina was reportedly removed by the Turkish authorities to Istanbul, from where it came to Berlin during World War I. The Treaty of Versailles, which concluded World War I, contains the following clause: 'Article 246: Within six months from the coming into force of the present Treaty, Germany will restore to His Majesty, King of Hedjaz, the original Koran of Caliph Othman, which was removed from Madina by the Turkish authorities and is stated to have been presented to the ex-Emperor William II". [36] 'This manuscript then reached Istanbul, but not Madina (Where it now resides)'. [37] 2. The second copy in existence is kept in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 'It may be the Imam (master) manuscript or one of the other copies made at the time of Uthman'. [38] It Came to Samarkand in 890 Hijra (1485) and remained there till 1868. Then it was taken to St.Petersburg by the Russians in 1869. It remained there till 1917. A Russian orientalist gave a detailed description of it, saying that many pages were damaged and some were missing. A facsimile, some 50 copies, of this mushaf (copy) was produced by S.Pisareff in 1905. A copy was sent to the Ottoman Sultan 'Abdul Hamid, to the Shah of Iran, to the Amir of Bukhara, to Afghanistan, to Fas and some important Muslim personalities. One copy is now in the Columbia University Library (U.S.A.). [39] 'The Manuscript was afterwards returned to its former place and reached Tashkent in 1924, where it has remained since'. [40]

Cure4islamophilie: The problem is that when you go against some very problematic verses of the quran (or hadith) and in general islamic theology you are called an islamophobe (fear of islam not of muslims). According to the popular wiki: “islamophobia is the fear of, hatred of, or prejudice against the islamic religion or muslims generally, especially when seen as a geopolitical force or the source of terrorism”. It is a word which is defined extensively with a clear negative connotation chosen in order discredit beforehand the authors of any critical comments and remarks on islam. One can however be an "islamophobe" without attacking muslims as people and individuals who must enjoy the same rights and obligations as non-muslims. But believers, including cultural muslims, obviously take criticism very often as a personal attack, inevitably. For them, like for any other person with a strong belief on anything, it is difficult to question it eventually. We are all to some degree victim of cognitive dissonance (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_dissonance). Muslims (immigrants), when the religion defines their identity, have even more difficulty to admit the imperfection of their religion because it is based on the myth of absolute divine truth of the “preserved” quran (word by word, letter by letter!) and the model behaviour of the prophet. In this sense, Islam does not seem reformable. What to do? Stop criticising islam and religions. Inacceptable!

@@AS-jj4dv P1 PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF ALLAH (SWT)TO AN ATHEIST by Dr. Zakir Naik CONGRATULATING AN ATHEIST Normally, when I meet an atheist, the first thing I like to do is to congratulate him and say, " My special congratulations to you", because most of the people who believe in God are doing blind belief - he is a Christian, because his father is a Christian; he is a Hindu, because his father is a Hindu; the majority of the people in the world are blindly following the religion of their fathers. An atheist, on the other hand, even though he may belong to a religious family, uses his intellect to deny the existence of God; what ever concept or qualities of God he may have learnt in his religion may not seem to be logical to him. My Muslim brothers may question me, "Zakir, why are you congratulating an atheist?" The reason that I am congratulating an atheist is because he agrees with the first part of the Shahada i.e. the Islamic Creed, ‘La ilaaha’ - meaning ‘there is no God’. So half my job is already done; now the only part left is ‘il lallah’ i.e. ‘BUT ALLAH’ which I shall do Insha Allah. With others (who are not atheists) I have to first remove from their minds the wrong concept of God they may have and then put the correct concept of one true God.

@@AS-jj4dv P2 PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF ALLAH (SWT)TO AN ATHEIST by Dr. Zakir Naik CONGRATULATING AN ATHEIST LOGICAL CONCEPT OF GOD My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.If a non-Muslim believes that Islam is a merciless religion with something to do with terrorism; a religion which does not give rights to women; a religion which contradicts science; in his limited sense that non-Muslim is correct to reject such Islam. The problem is he has a wrong picture of Islam. Even I reject such a false picture of Islam, but at the same time, it becomes my duty as a Muslim to present the correct picture of Islam to that non-Muslim i.e. Islam is a merciful religion, it gives equal rights to the women, it is not incompatible with logic, reason and science; if I present the correct facts about Islam, that non-Muslim may Inshallah accept Islam.Similarly the atheist rejects the false gods and the duty of every Muslim is to present the correct concept of God which he shall Insha Allah not refuse. (You may refer to my article, ‘Concept of God in Islam’, for more details) QUR’AN AND MODERN SCIENCE The methods of proving the existence of God with usage of the material provided in the ‘Concept of God in Islam’ to an atheist may satisfy some but not all. Many atheists demand a scientific proof for the existence of God. I agree that today is the age of science and technology. Let us use scientific knowledge to kill two birds with one stone, i.e. to prove the existence of God and simultaneously prove that the Qur’an is a revelation of God.If a new object or a machine, which no one in the world has ever seen or heard of before, is shown to an atheist or any person and then a question is asked, " Who is the first person who will be able to provide details of the mechanism of this unknown object? After little bit of thinking, he will reply, ‘the creator of that object.’ Some may say ‘the producer’ while others may say ‘the manufacturer.’ What ever answer the person gives, keep it in your mind, the answer will always be either the creator, the producer, the manufacturer or some what of the same meaning, i.e. the person who has made it or created it. Don’t grapple with words, whatever answer he gives, the meaning will be same, therefore accept it. SCIENTIFIC FACTS MENTIONED IN THE QUR’AN: for details on this subject please refer to my book, ‘THE QUR’AN AND MODERN SCIENCE - COMPATIBLE OR INCOMPATIBLE? THEORY OF PROBABILITY In mathematics there is a theory known as ‘Theory of Probability’. If you have two options, out of which one is right, and one is wrong, the chances that you will chose the right one is half, i.e. one out of the two will be correct. You have 50% chances of being correct. Similarly if you toss a coin the chances that your guess will be correct is 50% (1 out of 2) i.e. 1/2. If you toss a coin the second time, the chances that you will be correct in the second toss is again 50% i.e. half. But the chances that you will be correct in both the tosses is half multiplied by half (1/2 x 1/2) which is equal to 1/4 i.e. 50% of 50% which is equal to 25%. If you toss a coin the third time, chances that you will be correct all three times is (1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2) that is 1/8 or 50% of 50% of 50% that is 12½%.A dice has got six sides. If you throw a dice and guess any number between 1 to 6, the chances that your guess will be correct is 1/6. If you throw the dice the second time, the chances that your guess will be correct in both the throws is (1/6 x 1/6) which is equal to 1/36. If you throw the dice the third time, the chances that all your three guesses are correct is (1/6 x 1/6 x 1/6) is equal to 1/216 that is less than 0.5 %.Let us apply this theory of probability to the Qur’an, and assume that a person has guessed all the information that is mentioned in the Qur’an which was unknown at that time. Let us discuss the probability of all the guesses being simultaneously correct. At the time when the Qur’an was revealed, people thought the world was flat, there are several other options for the shape of the earth. It could be triangular, it could be quadrangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal, octagonal, spherical, etc. Lets assume there are about 30 different options for the shape of the earth. The Qur’an rightly says it is spherical, if it was a guess the chances of the guess being correct is 1/30.The light of the moon can be its own light or a reflected light. The Qur’an rightly says it is a reflected light. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/2 and the probability that both the guesses i.e the earth is spherical and the light of the moon is reflected light is 1/30 x 1/2 = 1/60.Further, the Qur’an also mentions every living thing is made of water. Every living thing can be made up of either wood, stone, copper, aluminum, steel, silver, gold, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil, water, cement, concrete, etc. The options are say about 10,000. The Qur’an rightly says that everything is made up of water. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/10,000 and the probability of all the three guesses i.e. the earth is spherical, light of moon is reflected light and everything is created from water being correct is 1/30 x 1/2 x 1/10,000 = 1/60,000 which is equal to about .0017%.The Qur’an speaks about hundreds of things that were not known to men at the time of its revelation. Only in three options the result is .0017%. I leave it upto you, to work out the probability if all the hundreds of the unknown facts were guesses, the chances of all of them being correct guesses simultaneously and there being not a single wrong guess. It is beyond human capacity to make all correct guesses without a single mistake, which itself is sufficient to prove to a logical person that the origin of the Qur’an is Divine. CREATOR IS THE AUTHOR OF THE QUR’AN The only logical answer to the question as to who could have mentioned all these scientific facts 1400 years ago before they were discovered, is exactly the same answer initially given by the atheist or any person, to the question who will be the first person who will be able to tell the mechanism of the unknown object. It is the ‘CREATOR’, the producer, the Manufacturer of the whole universe and its contents. In the English language He is ‘God’, or more appropriate in the Arabic language, ‘ALLAH’. QUR’AN IS A BOOK OF SIGNS AND NOT SCIENCE Let me remind you that the Qur’an is not a book of Science, ‘S-C-I-E-N-C-E’ but a book of Signs ‘S-I-G-N-S’ i.e. a book of ayaats. The Qur’an contains more than 6,000 ayaats, i.e. ‘signs’, out of which more than a thousand speak about Science. I am not trying to prove that the Qur’an is the word of God using scientific knowledge as a yard stick because any yardstick is supposed to be more superior than what is being checked or verified. For us Muslims the Qur’an is the Furqan i.e. criteria to judge right from wrong and the ultimate yardstick which is more superior to scientific knowledge. But for an educated man who is an atheist, scientific knowledge is the ultimate test which he believes in. We do know that science many a times takes ‘U’ turns, therefore I have restricted the examples only to scientific facts which have sufficient proof and evidence and not scientific theories based on assumptions. Using the ultimate yardstick of the atheist, I am trying to prove to him that the Qur’an is the word of God and it contains the scientific knowledge which is his yardstick which was discovered recently, while the Qur’an was revealed 1400 year ago. At the end of the discussion, we both come to the same conclusion that God though superior to science, is not incompatible with it. SCIENCE IS ELIMINATING MODELS OF GOD BUT NOT GOD Francis Bacon, the famous philosopher, has rightly said that a little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes him a believer in God. Scientists today are eliminating models of God, but they are not eliminating God. If you translate this into Arabic, it is La illaha illal la, There is no god, (god with a small ‘g’ that is fake god) but God (with a capital ‘G’).Surah Fussilat:"Soon We will show them our signs in the (farthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?"[Al-Quran

Is Quran perfectly preserved? 1. There were seven different versions of the Quran according to this Hadith: ------------------------------------- Al-Muwatta Hadith - 15.5 About the Qur'an Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa ibn az-Zubayr that Abd ar-Rahman ibn Abd al-Qari said that he had heard Umar ibn al-Khattab say, "I heard Hisham ibn Hakim ibn Hizam reciting Surat al-Furqan (Sura 25) differently from me, and it was the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who had recited it to me. I was about to rush up to him but I granted him a respite until he had finished his prayer. Then I grabbed him by his cloak and took him to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, 'Messenger of Allah, I heard this man reciting Surat al-Furqan differently from the way you recited it to me.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Let him go.' Then he said, 'Recite, Hisham,' and Hisham recited as I had heard him recite. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'It was sent down like that.' Then he said to me, 'Recite' and I recited the sura, and he said, 'It was sent down like that. This Qur'an was sent down in seven (different) ways, so recite from it whatever is easy for you .' " 2. Quran standardized into single text and burned all variant. ---------------------------------------------- Volume 6, Book 61, Number 510: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and the Christians did before." So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, 'Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. Said bin Thabit added, "A Verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur'an and I used to hear Allah's Apostle reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari. (That Verse was): 'Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.' (33.23) 3. Portions of Quran are lost eaten by sheep ------------------------------------------------------- Sunan Ibn Majah Hadith No. 1944 It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed1, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.” More information : Proof quran altered. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9bjDMWfbKzU.html

The Quran contains many Prophecies that have been fulfilled, The first two prophecies are noteworthy: unlike any other world scripture, the Quran prophesizes its own preservation under divine care, and we will demonstrate how it actually occurred. The Protection of the Quran from Corruption The Quran makes a claim no other religious text makes, that God Himself will keep its text safe from alteration. God says: "Behold, it is We Ourselves who have gradually revealed this reminder, and, behold, it is We who shall truly guard it [from all corruption]." (Quran 15:9) The Ease of Memorizing the Quran God has made the Quran easy to memorize: "And in truth We have made the Quran easy to remember; who, then, is willing to take it to heart?" (Quran 54:17) The ease with which Quran is memorized is inimitable. There is not a single scripture or religious text in the world that is as easy to memorize; even non-Arabs and children commit it to memory easily. The entire Quran is memorized by almost every Islamic scholar and hundreds of thousands of ordinary Muslims, generation after generation. Almost every Muslim has some portion of the Quran memorized to read in his prayers. The Twofold Prophecy Before the rise of Islam, the Romans and the Persians were two competing superpowers. Romans were led by Heraclius (610-641 CE), a Christian Emperor, whereas the Persians were Zoroastrians led by Khosrow Parviz (reigned 590-628 CE), under whom the empire achieved its greatest expansion. In 614, the Persians conquered Syria and Palestine, taking Jerusalem, destroying the Holy Sepulcher and the ‘True Cross’ carried to Ctesiphon. Then, in 619, they occupied Egypt and Libya. Heraclius met them at Thracian Heraclea (617 or 619), but they sought to capture him, and he rode madly back to Constantinople, hotly pursued.[2] The Muslims were grieved by the Roman defeat as they felt spiritually closer to Christian Rome than Zoroastrian Persia, but the Meccans were naturally buoyed up by the victory of pagan Persia. To Meccans, the Roman humiliation was a sinister omen of the defeat of the Muslims at pagan hands. At the time God’s prophecy comforted the faithful: "The Romans have been defeated - in a land close by; but they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious- within ten years. With God is the Decision, in the past and in the future: on that Day shall the believers rejoice with the help of God. He helps whom He will, and He is the Mighty, the Most-Merciful." (Quran 30:2-5) The Quran made a prophecy of two victories: (i) The future Roman victory within ten years over Persians, something unimaginable at the time (ii) The joy of the faithful on a victory over the pagans Both of these prophecies actually occured. In 622, Heraclius left Constantinople as prayers rose from its many sanctuaries for victory over the Persian Zoroastrians and the reconquest of Jerusalem. He devoted the next two years to campaigns in Armenia. In 627, he met the Persians near Nineveh. There, he killed three Persian generals in single combat, killed the Persian commander, and scattered the Persian host. A month later, Heraclius entered Dastagird with its stupendous treasure. Khosrow was overthrown by his son, who made peace with Heraclius. Returning to Constantinople in triumph, Heraclius was hailed as a hero.[3] Also, in the year 624 AH, Muslims defeated the Meccans in the first and decisive Battle at Badr. In the words of an Indian scholar: "…a single line of prophecy was related to four nations and the fate of two great empires. All this proves the Holy Quran to be the Book of God."[4] The Prophecy of Pagan Defeat The Quran predicted the defeat of unbelievers in Mecca while Prophet Muhammad and his followers were still being persecuted by them: "Or do they (the Meccan disbelievers) say: ‘We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?’ Their multitude will be defeated, , and they shall turn their backs [in flight]!" (Quran 54:45) The prophecy was revealed in Mecca, but was fulfilled at the Battle of Badr, two years after the Prophet’s migration to the city of Medina. The Fate of Specific Individuals Waleed ibn Mugheera was a staunch enemy who openly ridiculed the Quran: "Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; this is nothing but the word of a mortal!" (Quran 74:24-25) The Quran prophesized he will never accept Islam: "Soon will I cast him into Hell-Fire! And what will explain to thee what Hell-Fire is? It leaves naught nor does it spare aught." (Quran 74:26-28) Waleed died in a state of disbelief as prophesized by the Quran. Also, concerning Abu Lahab, a fiery opponent of Islam, the Quran foretold he will die opposing the religion of God: "May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, and [indeed] he has perished. His wealth and gains will not profit him. He will be plunged in flaming Fire." (Quran 111:1-3) Specifically, three prophecies were made about Abu Lahab: (i) The conspiracies of Abu Lahab against the Prophet would not succeed. (ii) His wealth and children would not benefit him. (iii) He would die opposing God’s religion and enter the Fire. Abu Lahab also died in a state of disbelief as prophesized by the Quran. Had Waleed or Abu Lahab accepted Islam even outwardly, they would have disproved its prophecies and thus its heavenly source! In addition, Abu Lahab had four sons, two of whom died at a young age during his lifetime. The other two sons and a daughter embraced Islam and frustrated his hopes! Finally, he died of a plague; people would not touch his body out of fear of contamination and dumped mud and stones on him where he died to make it his grave. A key foundation to believing that a scripture is actually a revelation of God is internal truth, whether it be in regards to occurrences in the past, to come in the future, or in contemporary ages. As one can see, there are many prophecies mentioned in that which is to come, some of which were fulfilled in the Prophet’s lifetime, or have been fulfilled since his death, while others are yet to appear

In search of truth is the most important thing i.e finding the true God. Quran came 600 years after Christ without any eyewitness account unlike the new testament of the Bible with eye witness from the Christians and non christians. So , is Quran information reliable? Man or God.? @@adamumar8822 Who is Muhammad? 1. War captive turned into sex slave. Bukhari Volume 3, Book 46, Number 717: Narrated Ibn Aun: I wrote a letter to Nafi and Nafi wrote in reply to my letter that the Prophet had suddenly attacked Bani Mustaliq without warning while they were heedless and their cattle were being watered at the places of water. Their fighting men were killed and their women and children were taken as captives; the Prophet got Juwairiya on that day. Nafi said that Ibn 'Umar had told him the above narration and that Ibn 'Umar was in that army. 2. Serial Rapist : Sex for Dihya then pass it to Muhammad ( who condoned rape.) Bukhari Volume 3, Book 34, Number 431: Narrated Anas: Amongst the captives was Safiya. First she was given to Dihya Al-Kalbi and then to the Prophet. Bukhari Volume 3, Book 34, Number 432: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: that while he was sitting with Allah's Apostle he said, "O Allah's Apostle! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interruptus?" The Prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence. Bukhari Volume 9, Book 93, Number 506: Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: That during the battle with Bani Al-Mustaliq they (Muslims) captured some females and intended to have sexual relation with them without impregnating them. So they asked the Prophet about coitus interrupt us. The Prophet said, "It is better that you should not do it, for Allah has written whom He is going to create till the Day of Resurrection." Qaza'a said, "I heard Abu Sa'id saying that the Prophet said, 'No soul is ordained to be created but Allah will create it." Surah 33:50 ( sex slaves) O prophet, We have made lawful for you all your wives whom you have given their dowers, and those (bondwomen) whom you own, out of the captives Allah has given to you as spoils of war, and daughters of your paternal uncle, and daughters of your paternal aunts, and daughters of your maternal uncle, and daughters of your maternal aunts, who have migrated with you, and a believing woman who offers herself for (marrying) the prophet without dower, if the prophet wishes to bring her into his marriage, these rules being exclusive for you, and not for the (rest of the) believers,- We know what We have prescribed for them in respect of their wives and the slave-girls they own - so that there should be no difficulty for you. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful. 3. Robbing and plundering . Surah 48:18-19 (booty) Allah was much pleased with the believers when they swore fealty to you under the tree.He knew what was in their hearts. So He bestowed inner peace upon them33 and rewarded them with a victory near at hand and with abundant spoils which they shall acquire. Allah is Most Mighty, Most Wise. 4. Sex with underaged girl. Sunan Abu Dawud, Number 2116 Aisha said: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) married me when I was seven years old. The narrator Sulaiman said: Or six years. He had intercourse with me when I was nine years old. 5. No wonder he was possessed by demons. Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 71, Number 660: Narrated Aisha: Magic was worked on Allah's Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not (Sufyan said: That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect). Then one day he said, "O 'Aisha do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me and one of them sat near my head and the other sat near my feet. The one near my head asked the other. What is wrong with this man?' The latter replied the is under the effect of magic The first one asked, Who has worked magic on him?' The other replied Labid bin Al-A'sam, a man from Bani Zuraiq who was an ally of the Jews and was a hypocrite.' The first one asked, What material did he use)?' The other replied, 'A comb and the hair stuck to it.' The first one asked, 'Where (is that)?' The other replied. 'In a skin of pollen of a male date palm tree kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan' '' So the Prophet went to that well and took out those things and said "That was the well which was shown to me (in a dream) Its water looked like the infusion of Henna leaves and its date-palm trees looked like the heads of devils." The Prophet added, "Then that thing was taken out' I said (to the Prophet ) "Why do you not treat yourself with Nashra?" Historical evidence of existence of Prophet Muhammad from Muslim and non-muslim sources Doctrina Iacobi Nuper Baptizati, 13-20 AH / 634-640 CE. Written by a Christian apologist, this anti-Jewish tract illuminates the story of the forced conversion of a Palestinian Jewish merchant named Jacob to Christianity. After reading the scriptures, instead of resenting his forced baptism, he recognises the truth of his newly found faith and is eager to share his experience with other Jews. Though it is quite clear this is a fictitious account designed for apologetic purposes, the historical details of contemporary events accurately recounted by the anonymous author reveals some quite startling information - the appearance of a new Prophet among the Saracens. When the candidatus was killed by the Saracens, I was at Caesarea and I set off by boat to Sykamina. People were saying "the candidatus has been killed," and we Jews were overjoyed. And they were saying that the prophet had appeared, coming with the Saracens, and that he was proclaiming the advent of the anointed one, the Christ who was to come. I, having arrived at Sykamina, stopped by a certain old man well-versed in scriptures, and I said to him: "What can you tell me about the prophet who has appeared with the Saracens?" He replied, groaning deeply: "He is false, for the prophets do not come armed with a sword. Truly they are works of anarchy being committed today and I fear that the first Christ to come, whom the Christians worship, was the one sent by God and we instead are preparing to receive the Antichrist. Indeed, Isaiah said that the Jews would retain a perverted and hardened heart until all the earth should be devastated. But you go, master Abraham, and find out about the prophet who has appeared." So I, Abraham, inquired and heard from those who had met him that there was no truth to be found in the so-called prophet, only the shedding of men's blood. He says also that he has the keys of paradise, which is incredible.[18] This source vies with the following two texts detailed below, viz., A Record Of The Arab Conquest Of Syria, 637 CE and Thomas The Presbyter, c. 640 CE, as being amongst the very earliest non-Islamic sources to mention Prophet Muḥammad. Furthermore, this is the earliest text to ascribe to his teachings an explicit religious motivation.[19] A Record Of The Arab Conquest Of Syria, 15-16 AH / 637 CE. This much faded note is preserved on folio 1 of BL Add. 14,461, a codex containing the Gospel according to Matthew and the Gospel according to Mark. This note appears to have been penned soon after the battle of Gabitha (636 CE) at which the Arabs inflicted a crushing defeat of the Byzantines. Wright was first to draw attention to the fragment and suggested that "it seems to be a nearly contemporary notice",[20] a view which was also endorsed by Nöldeke.[21] The purpose of jotting this note in the codex appears to be commemorative as the author appears to have realized how momentous the events of his time were. The words "we saw" are positive evidence that the author was a contemporary. The author also talks about olive oil, cattle, ruined villages, suggesting that he belonged to peasant stock, i.e., parish priest or a monk who could read and write. It is worthwhile cautioning that the condition of the text is fragmentary and many of the readings unclear or disputable. The lacunae are supplied in square brackets. ... and in January, they took the word for their lives (did) [the sons of] Emesa [i.e., Ḥimṣ)], and many villages were ruined with killing by [the Arabs of] Muḥammad and a great number of people were killed and captives [were taken] from Galilee as far as Bēth [...] and those Arabs pitched camp beside [Damascus?] [...] and we saw everywhe[re...] and o[l]ive oil which they brought and them. And on the t[wenty six]th of May went S[ac[ella]rius]... cattle [...] [...] from the vicinity of Emesa and the Romans chased them [...] and on the tenth [of August] the Romans fled from the vicinity of Damascus [...] many [people] some 10,000. And at the turn [of the ye]ar the Romans came; and on the twentieth of August in the year n[ine hundred and forty-]seven there gathered in Gabitha [...] the Romans and great many people were ki[lled of] [the R]omans, [s]ome fifty thousand [...][22] There are certain observations to be made here. The phrase "turn of the year" signifies that the beginning of the note refers to the year 634-5 CE. The people of Emesa "took the word for their lives", an expression for surrendering on terms of tolerance, confirmed by oaths. Then there was a battle in Palestine with the "Arabs of Muhammad" in which many villages were ruined and people from the region of Galilee and Beth Sacharya(?), south west of Jerusalem were taken captive. Then the Arabs laid siege to Damascus (as read by Nöldeke).[23] In May, 635 CE, a Byzantine general of the rank of sakellarious was in the region of Emesa. His name according to the Byzantine sources was Theodor.[24] Apparently, he was unable to lift the siege. The next battle took place in Gabitha, a town to the north of the river Yarmuk in the Golan massif. The date of the battle is 20th August AG 947 = 636 CE / Rajab 15 AH, which agrees with the best Arab date for the battle of Yarmuk.[25] As mentioned earlier, the fragmentary nature of this note has resulted in scholars advising caution.[26] Thomas The Presbyter, 19 AH / 640 CE. The 8th century BL Add. 14,643 was published by Wright who first brought to attention the mention of an early date of 947 AG (635-6 CE).[27] The contents of this manuscript have puzzled many scholars for apparent lack of coherence as it contains an assembly of texts with diverse nature.[28] In relation to Islam and Muslims, there are two important dates mentioned in this manuscript. AG 945, indiction VII: On Friday, 4 February, [i.e., 634 CE / Dhul Qa‘dah 12 AH] at the ninth hour, there was a battle between the Romans and the Arabs of Muḥammad [Syr. tayyāyē d-Mḥmt] in Palestine twelve miles east of Gaza. The Romans fled, leaving behind the patrician YRDN (Syr. BRYRDN), whom the Arabs killed. Some 4000 poor villagers of Palestine were killed there, Christians, Jews and Samaritans. The Arabs ravaged the whole region. AG 947, indiction IX: The Arabs invaded the whole of Syria and went down to Persia and conquered it; the Arabs climbed mountain of Mardin and killed many monks there in [the monasteries of] Kedar and Benōthō. There died the blessed man Simon, doorkeeper of Qedar, brother of Thomas the priest.[29] It is the first date above which is of great importance as it provides the first explicit reference to Muhammad in a non-Muslim source. The account is usually identified with the battle of Dathin.[30] According to Hoyland, "its precise dating inspires confidence that it ultimately derives from first-hand knowledge".[31] This means that the time period between the death of Muhammad (June, 632 CE) and the earliest mention of him (4th February, 634 CE) is slightly over a year and half! Jerusalem 32 - An Inscription Mentioning Witnessing By Three Disciples Of Prophet Muḥammad, 32 AH / 652 CE. ... dhimmat Allāh wa ḍamān rasūlih. ... the protection of God and guarantee of His Messenger. Sebeos, Bishop Of The Bagratunis, 40’s AH / 660’s CE. One of the most interesting accounts of the early seventh century comes from Sebeos who was a bishop of the House of Bagratunis. From this chronicle, there are indications that he lived through many of the events he relates. He maintains that the account of Arab conquests derives from the fugitives who had been eyewitnesses thereof. He concludes with Mu‘awiya's ascendancy in the Arab civil war (656-61 CE), which suggests that he was writing soon after this date. Sebeos is the first non-Muslim author to present us with a theory for the rise of Islam that pays attention to what the Muslims themselves thought they were doing.[32] As for Muhammad, he has the following to say: At that time a certain man from along those same sons of Ismael, whose name was Mahmet [i.e., Muḥammad], a merchant, as if by God's command appeared to them as a preacher [and] the path of truth. He taught them to recognize the God of Abraham, especially because he was learnt and informed in the history of Moses. Now because the command was from on high, at a single order they all came together in unity of religion. Abandoning their vain cults, they turned to the living God who had appeared to their father Abraham. So, Mahmet legislated for them: not to eat carrion, not to drink wine, not to speak falsely, and not to engage in fornication. He said: 'With an oath God promised this land to Abraham and his seed after him for ever. And he brought about as he promised during that time while he loved Ismael. But now you are the sons of Abraham and God is accomplishing his promise to Abraham and his seed for you. Love sincerely only the God of Abraham, and go and seize the land which God gave to your father Abraham. No one will be able to resist you in battle, because God is with you.[33] Sebeos was writing the chronicle at a time when memories of sudden eruption of the Arabs was fresh. He knows Muhammad's name and that he was a merchant by profession. He hints that his life was suddenly changed by a divinely inspired revelation.[34] He presents a good summary of Muhammad's preaching, i.e., belief in one God, Abraham as a common ancestor of Jews and Arabs. He picks out some of the rules of behaviour imposed on the umma; the four prohibitions which are mentioned in the Qur'an. Much of what he says about the origins of Islam conforms to the Muslim tradition click link for more info

Adult breastfeeding in Islam? In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful It is well-known that Islam does not allow unmarried men and women to touch each other in a sexual manner. The purpose of this rule is to avoid the serious sins of adultery and premarital sex. However, a particular narration is cited out of context to imply that breastfeeding adults is allowed in Islam. There was a specific case in which the Prophet (s) allowed a household servant to drink the breast milk of a wife, which had been poured into a cup, to put the husband at ease. By doing so, the servant would become like a family member according to Arab culture, but this incident was limited to a single case on account of its unique social conditions; it was not made into a general rule in Islam. Aisha reported: Salim was the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfa and lived with him and his family in their house. The wife of Abu Hudhayfa came to the Prophet and she said, “Salim has reached puberty as men do, he knows what they know. He enters our house freely, and I sense that this disturbs the heart of Abu Hudhayfa.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: أَرْضِعِيهِ تَحْرُمِي عَلَيْهِ وَيَذْهَبْ الَّذِي فِي نَفْسِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ Let him be fed with breast milk and he will be unlawful for you to marry, then the disturbance in Abu Hudhayfa’s heart will disappear. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1453, Grade: Sahih Abu Hudhayfa’s wife returned and she said, “I fed him with breast milk (in a cup) and the disturbance in Abu Hudhayfa’s heart disappeared.” In this situation, Salim grew up in the household of Abu Hudhayfa as a member of the family, although he was not directly related to them. When Salim reached manhood, Abu Hudhayfa was bothered that an unrelated man was coming and going into his house where his wife resided. In order to make him feel better, the Prophet (s) ordered that Salim drink the breast milk of his wife and thus he would become similar to a blood relative. Salim did not touch the wife of Abu Hudhayfa or drink directly from her breast, because that would have defeated the purpose of the act from the start. Ibn Hajar comments on this tradition, saying: فَإِنَّ عِيَاضًا أَجَابَ عَنِ الْإِشْكَالِ بِاحْتِمَالِ أَنَّهَا حَلَبَتْهُ ثُمَّ شَرِبَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَمَسَّ ثَدْيَهَا قَالَ النَّوَوِيُّ وَهُوَ احْتِمَالٌ حَسَنٌ Al-Qadi ‘Iyad answers the question with the interpretation that the milk was put into a cup and he did not drink it from her breast. Al-Nawawi said: This is interpretation is best. Source: Fatḥ al-Bārī 4814 Moreover, this was a special concession given to Salim and Abu Hudhayfa, because of their unique cultural and social situation. The companions of the Prophet (s) did not understand this case to be a general rule or permissible in other circumstances. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: وَاللَّهِ مَا نَرَى هَذَا إِلَّا رُخْصَةً أَرْخَصَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسَالِمٍ خَاصَّةً فَمَا هُوَ بِدَاخِلٍ عَلَيْنَا أَحَدٌ بِهَذِهِ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَلَا رَائِينَا By Allah, we do not view this but as a concession that the Messenger of Allah (s) granted to Salim specifically. No one with this type of feeding may enter our homes, and it is not our view. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1454, Grade: Sahih In sum, the incident was a product of the unique cultural and social conditions that faced Abu Hudhayfa and his household at the time. The Prophet (s) devised a clever way to put Abu Hudhayfa at ease with Salim, his freed slave who lived in their home together with his wife. Due to the very specific nature of this case, it is not a general rule and cannot be extracted to other cases by analogy. Success comes from Allah, and Allah knows best. abuaminaelias.com/islam-adult-breastfeeding/

@@AS-jj4dv This is the truth you hide. You give Muslims verses of Quran and Ahadith in such a way that they get confused. But after just a little time, they give you a satisfying answer. This is actually the problem of Non Muslims. That they can prove any religion wrong with ease by using their bad or immoral teachings. But this religion, this Islam is the only religion that puts non Muslims in trouble. Because no matter how hard they work to prove Islam wrong, they fail. They always fail. This is due to the failure that they hate Muslims. This is due to that failure that they are jealous of Islam. So listen, no matter how much hatred you spread, you'll fail. You'll always lose. This miraculous religion, miraculous Quran, will never be proved wrong. You will waste your whole life time in proving it wrong. But you'll fail.

@@adminscamp2563 Wishful thinking. How do you know that islam is true ? You just believe it. There are so many religions. For the majority of the world population islam is a false religion (but in fact numbers do not make religion true). Everything which goes after islam is because it is based on bad and immoral teaching ? Are you kidding?

I do not hate muslims. Why should I ? Why should one be jealous of islam? Most people have their own religion and are happy with it. A minority is converting, but this is true in both directions (although i expect for good reasons a substantial increase of ex-muslims, mostly secretely). Tell me what hate i spread ? Is it just because i am critical of some very problematic aspects ? Can one critisise religion or not ?

Finding and Following Jesus: The Muslim Claim to the Messiah Jesus was “God’s word conveyed to Mary and a spirit from him” (Qur’an 4:171) but he remained only the son of Mary (Qur’an 5:110), not of God. The Qur’an understands literally the notion of a son and therefore rejects a consort for God (Qur’an 6:101; 72:3) who has no son, only honored servants (Qur’an 21:26). There are no saviors, only prophets who warn. Nor are there any intercessors-unless God wills otherwise. He alone has the power to forgive sins and to answer His creatures’ prayers for help and guidance.Yesous Yeshu‘a, rendered ‘Joshua’ in English. The Hebrew original contains the idea of being a savior. ‘Isa has no meaning in Arabic or in Hebrew and its use might startle Christians since they expect Yeshu‘a or Yesu‘a to be the relevant Arabic transliteration. God made Jesus and his mother ayah) for humanity, a mercy (rahmah) from God, his miraculous birth “a matter foreordained” (Qur’an 19:21). Muslims proclaim Jesus as a sign of God (ayatu Allah) for all humanity (Qur’an 19:21) but not a (or the) son of God. The Qur’an also calls Muhammaﷺrahmah to all the worlds (21:107) and eulogizes the Word of God as a mercy and healing for believers (17:82; 41:44). The Greek Christos (anointed one) is a translation of the Hebrew meshiakh, meaning someone selected for a sacred role or special honor. It can refer to any chosen or regal personage. Al-Masih is probably an Arabic transliteration of the Hebrew. But what does al-Masih mean or intend in the Qur’an? The Arabic verb ma/sa/ha, like its virtually identical Hebrew cognate, means to rub lightly with water or oil; formal washings before Muslim ritual prayers require this light touch or anointment with water (Qur’an 5:6). The Qur’an’s description of Jesuعليهالسلامal-Masih ‘Isa ibn Maryam (3:45). In Judaism, ‘the Christ’ functions as an indefinite description since the identity of the true claimant must be distinguished from false pretenders. The referent of the phrase remains disputed: Jews are still waiting for the messiah. In first-century Palestine, the messiah’s lineage and identity were topics of fierce sectarian dispute. The self-segregated Qumran community expected two messiahs, one royal (of Davidic descent) and one priestly. In prophecy, an indefinite description is made partly definite; a proper name may or may not supplement the title. Thus, “His name is Ahmad” (Qur’an 61:6) can function as an attributive adjectival appellation or merely a proper (nominal or content-less) name while “His name is John” ( Yahya; Qur’an 19:7) simply introduces a proper name. The Qur’an denies the crucifixion (4:157), a fact that further defines the Messiah. God would not permit such a one to die a shameful death. In later Muslim piety, Jesu was ‘translated,’ a technical Christian term for describing ascent into heaven, without the normal precondition of bodily death. Allah exalted Jesus to himself. The Qur’an’s denial of Jesus’ crucifixion obviates the need for his resurrection but the Islamic scripture attests to Jesus’ ascension, understood as his miraculous entry into heaven through God’s direct intervention (see Qur’an 3:55; 4:157-8; 5:116-117). Only Luke mentions the Ascension of the risen Christ (24:50-51) after his resurrection and adds in Acts (1:1-3) that this event took place forty days after his resurrection. (Mark 16:19 mentions it too but this passage is absent from the most reliable early manuscripts and other ancient witnesses.) IV. The New Testament Jesus in the Light of the Qur’an The New Testament writers considered Jesus to be the messianic descendant of King David . For Christians, Jesus’ humiliating death was simply a fulfillment of divine prophecy: he was innocent of the accusations made against him by the establishment. While claiming that Muhammad’s advent was promised in antecedent scripture, the Qur’an never calls Jesus the promised messiah. This may be because the Qur’an recognizes at best only the Torah (Pentateuch of Moses) as scripture. For Jews, the Masoretic text of the Hebrew Bible, what Christians effectively dismiss as the ‘Old’ Testament, has three levels of holiness. After the Torah, the prophetic oracles quoting direct divine speech form the second holiest portion, the Nebi’im (Prophets) division. The messianic prophecies are concentrated here but, as in the third portion, the Ketub’im (Writings), much of this prophetic material is humanly composed and has been partly corrupted in transmission and through unauthorized scribal amplification. al-Injil) to confirm the Torah (al-Taurah). The Qur’an reveals that the Gospel vouchsafed to Jesus was a relaxed version of the Torah (Qur’an 3:50). Some laws imposed on the Children of Israel seemed prejudicially rigorous but, the Qur’an explains, these laws were intended to be conspicuously rigorous-as a just punishment for their specific iniquities and persistent delinquencies (Qur’an 6:146). However, the Qur’an does not suggest that the Gospel was a law-free version of the Torah or in some way legally or morally superior to it. The Qur’an concurs with the sum verdict of Matthew’s gospel: Jesu Abba (heavenly Father) scandalized his Pharisee critics. The Jesus of the Qur’an enjoys a close relationship with God, despite not addressing him as Father. So long as the believer does not obliterate his or her identity but remains distinct from God, Islam salutes the closeness of such mystical piety. The Qur’an speaks of the signs of God in nature and human nature (3:190; 30:20-25). John’s gospel, too, sees the actions of Jesu In the Qur’an and the Prophet’s canonical sayings, al-Masih is the Lord’s anointed, an accolade conferred uniquely on Jesus Islam pays special tribute to Jesus but not in a way that would satisfy the highly ambitious credal and ecclesial requirements of orthodox Christology. For Christians, the Muslim Jesus is a dull, predictable figure, a mere prophet, of whom there are legion in the Bible and the Qur’an. He would resemble the harmless figure of the cultural Jesus whose message can entertain kids at Christmas and Easter. This may sound like a caricature or parody of the Qur’anic Jesus but the Christian point is that only the adult version is the real Jesus, the incarnate God who suffered on a cross to secure redemption for sinful Adam and all his descendants. The Islamic Jesus appears as the real Jesus but minus the distinctive and unsettling aspects of his life, nature, and mission. as a miraculously created being, appointed a prophet and messiah, the seal of the prophets of Israel, and essentially no more. Otherwise, the Christological deadlock shall remain permanent. For Muslims, the Jesus of Christian faith will remain a divisive figure whose mission cannot provide a basis for genuinely harmonious coexistence among the adherents of the Semitic trio of revealed faiths. The Qur’an envisages these three groups disputing in front of their Lord on the day of resurrection (Qur’an 5:48).Muslims are religiously obliged to demonstrate that Jesus himself preached only a pure monotheism. Only then can we prove that the Muslim Jesus was the true leader of the Jesus movement. No Muslim can take as a leader someone who rejects or compromises strict Abrahamic monotheism. This is an essential qualification for anyone who claims to be a leader or exemplar for Muslims. entertained the prevalent Jewish view, he would have seen his role as that of a revolutionary, a zealous prophet and a human messiah who would deliver the Jews from the political bondage of Gentile nations. Christian tradition has bestowed countless honorific titles on Jesus who, as Christ, enjoys the role of messiah, naturally, but also prophet, priest, and king. According to Christian doctrine, during Christ’s divinely willed but humanly accepted humiliation on earth, he was a mere servant under the law, voluntarily divested of his regal divine majesty; in his later exaltation as Lord, after the resurrection from the dead, he rose above the law. Leaving aside the Muslim caveat that Allah would never humiliate his messenger, did Jesus proclaim himself the Son of God and/or God? . Objective historical and critical scholarship on Jesus for the past 100 years confirms the truth of the Qur’anic portrait as both converge on a Jewish Jesus. Islam is not annexing or colonizing the Christian Jesus, merely rescuing the historical character from the clutches of later church conjecture and dogma. Christians are called to change and meet Muslims on Muslim ground since the entire Qur’an is unchanged and unchangeable. By contrast, both testaments of the Bible are widely acknowledged by Jewish and Christian scholars themselves to be mainly edicts that evolved over centuries, under human if inspired redaction, the texts being, in the case of the New Testament, in demotic Greek while reporting the classical Aramaic speech of Jesus yaqeeninstitute.org/shabbir-akhtar/finding-and-following-jesus-the-muslim-claim-to-the-messiah
