This sucks! I have to wait til the 6th to do all of my fireworks. I’m gonna do some 200 gram cakes on the 4th but still. I want to destroy the competition on the 4th. That’s what the 4th Of July is for... obviously. I have a bunch of 2 inch ball shells for my BBQ on the 6th but no cans. I couldn’t find any at my local store in Easton. Not gonna day the name because people are going to judge me on where I go.

at the end of the video you showed that you burn the cakes now i know you dont actually make our own fireworks but take this from someone who does make their own i personally suggest you do in fact use the tubes from the cake since those are already made,sturdy,have the fuse hole, and are very thick and can be used many times for Ariel shots but its just a suggestion and a personal opinion

So heres something ive been toying with lately. I am trying to incorporate my digital piano to talk to a firework show software so that as i play live at the show every key stroke is a cue. Perfect thuds and punch because you control the show and music in real time. Its just a thought for now. Opinions?

Look on the bright side. It's hot, but at least you weren't moving pallets of racks. Cake shows are so much easier. I'm surprised you weren't shooting it with a firing system, but if they wanted a slow show, dropping the cakes on the ground and lighting one or two at a time is the easiest solution.

I know this vid was a year ago, but maybe you’ll see my question. I’ve been doing my family show for a few years now, even bought some cheap wireless firing systems. I’m wanting to branch out into doing low key shows like this one for weddings, family reunions and what not. I have my ATF possessors permit, what would you suggest I do to get started with these shows outside my own family show Everett year.

Dude hope you're having a good 4th I just got done with mine! Just wanted to let you know next time you go to phantom get the red white and blue canister shell kit only comes with 6 shells but man they where thumping hard!!! Some of the hardest hitting shells I've ever had and all I've ever shot has been canister shells. So highly recommend them man super good kit!!
