They bring up a good point like the first trailer about how Moms work there butts off for the Christmas season and they don't always get what they want then like a good gift for example when they work hard all year to give there kids one. These movies may not be great but at least they bring up a good point that Moms should enjoy themselves sometimes and it is okay to worry about your own enjoyment and not always focus on your kids enjoyment but your own and to all the kids out there who have mothers who work really hard all year for you give them a good gift and make sure they feel like there having fun for the Holiday season and anytime as they have worked hard for you! Thank you, Mom for always looking out for me and making sure I am enjoying my time and making sure I will have a good Christmas this season and I hope yours is equally as good. That Is not what I am saying. I am saying that Mom's don't always get appreciated for there hard work and they should sometimes take a break to enjoy themselves and there family members should really appreciate what they do and give them a really good gift and make them feel like there hard work payed off. I am not saying they should stop working but they should have times to enjoy themselves and feel good.
So it's basically the same premise as "Daddy's Home 2". Everything is fine until the parents show up for christmas. But the casting choices for the parents are good I'd say. Still gonna watch both movies btw...

I like watching Kristen in TGP. It was funnier than I expected. I love how she gets angry that God keeps censoring her so she can't cuss. Whenever she tries to say "fuck," it comes out as "oh, fork!" 😂😂
What a disgusting piece of garbage this movie is. They hate GOD, they hate family and the people that work in this movie are so sick. I only watch 2 minutes of this garbage. I was on the movie theater watching this with friends when my mom decided to accompany me in the last min and I was like okay, unaware of the few sex scenes in the movie. Then the scene at 2:04 came up and I was like WTF I'm so fucking dead, especially considering the fact that I'm an only 14 year old Muslim girl and I was watching it Infront of mom but thankfully after the movie was over, mom pretended like nothing happened and we went home happily ever after. It's not like I've never watches such scenes, infact I've watched many r rated movies but it's just that watching Infront of mom was awkward and I definitely never going to the theatre with mom.
I just saw the first one and it was really great! IDK, I'm not even a mom, but I like it. Their punchline are great tho, the scenes, the character and etc... So glad that they made a sequel! 😍
Checked out 90 seconds in... Love Mila Kunis, like Kristen Bell, don't care for the plot. Doesn't help I'm not at all convinced Christine Baranski looks anything related to Mila Kunis. Looks dumb, but it's holiday faire, some will probably go to it
Just what i expected really. Same thing as the last movie with over the top Mom's. But if they werent this movie would not have sold at all. With mom's like that i did either 2 things. Wait by the frontdoor and tell her to turn the fuck back around No honestly screw all that respect for the parents. Woman up and just say it allready how much you are ashamed of them. Second if that is somehow something you can't do for whatever reason be over the top friendly and say you will love having them over. Make sure you booked a vacation to whatever place 5000 miles away from your home 4 weeks prior December even hits. House all yours mom..but i ain't gonna be there. When she tries to call she can hear my Phone going over from under the Welcome mat.
I had to watch this drivel as part of a deal pact with the misses where we alternate watching films each night. (my choice one night... hers the next) being the misses choice I endured 1hour and 44minutes of this typical Rom Com American shite aimed for an audience of the menopausal. My brain went numb watching this and at one point my beagle dog cracked out a very strong eye watering guff (he had some vegetables in his dinner) but that odious smell wrapped up exactly what I was thinking of this film. Time also sat still and the best part of this deadpan film was when it eventually reached the end. My only fear now is that the misses also has shit load more Rom Com dvd drivel in the drawer, however the dvd player is a bit old and will hopefully break down before another film of her choice 😉😉
Nothing beats the original, that’s all I’m gonna say… SATC 2 was complete bs so don’t be shocked if this one is too. What is it about Hollywood and flogging a formula? :/
I know that no one asked for my opinion on the movie, but Mila Kunis's kids are just so terrible still. I know they're trying to say that Mila was wrong for how they treated her mother, but 1) I would have kicked her out long ago for disrespecting me, my boyfriend she can't bother to remember, and how she talked to me, and 2) its hard to side with the kids for "loving" their grandmother when its shown they're receiving presents from their grandmother every scene and making it seem like most of the like is because they get stuff from her. Even the one scene where the kids seem legit with their grandma, worrying about their mother and grandmother's relationship they get gifts at the end, cheapening the moment. And then the kids blame their mom for kicking out their grandmother and not even considering that their mom was doing everything in her power to give her kids the best christmas that they asked for, was considerably stressed out the moment their grandmother arrived and her mom also dealing with the messy divorce. I get what the makers of the movie was trying to go for, but they make the kids just so terrible to her in both movies.
The first one was waaayy better. But honestly, I can't tell the difference between comedy and porn after watching this movie. I mean, there is something seriously wrong with humour these days.

I know so many smart women who hate all the comedys with only women leads but I don't mind them. Some of them can be bad like ghost busters remake. Bad Santa then Bad teacher then bad moms what next bad president aka snl sketch turned movie.
Lemme see the moms are gonna be busting their ass off trying to make the perfect xmas, the give up and drink and party, then xmas gets fucked up, then there's a cute moment between mother and daughter before they save xmas at the last minute
I thought there was only one and loved it, and now I am today years old finding out there was a second all because I was watching family guy, my mind is blown
