I raised a Badger from 3 weeks old to adult she was raised with our 4 Yorkies and 2 cats. Once she was old enough we found a rehab facility that only took care of badgers! So we sadly let her go but she had a better life with her new home and 12 other badgers! I’m a licensed state and federal rehabilitation individual specializing in Birds of Prey however the fish and wildlife department brought me everything North America has to offer! Badgers are very special animals I miss her! Ty for sharing ❤

They aren't pack animals like a dog but their presentation is so dog-like. It's amazing that a solitary animal can be so tame. They must be very intelligent. Also they are much cuter and probably smell better.

a Well Mannered Badger.

O my goodness. I am so happy for you that you can play with a badger. I heard about badgers one time about how tough they are and then I read a book about them by Ernest Neil. They are so wonderful I love them. I read about how a baby mother adopted an orphaned fox. Also badgers are very clean , and they make huge underground homes called sets. They are omnivorous eating carion, mice and anything really. I love the badger and the playful guy (i am guessing his name is Tor) is my favorite variety. I believe you have a meles meles, the european badger, and while the american badger (taxedia taxas) is great this is my fave by far, (honey badgers are cool too) man I think its so cool you have one. I even have a badger tattoo on my forearm. Can I ask how you got a badger, I live in Canada would it be possible for me to get one. I am so interested. can you tell me more about your story. Oh and lastly you seem to have a very well behaved animal and it seems like your badger is a well adjusted member of the family. You probably know how blessed or fortunate you are, I wont say I am jelous but I am so happpy for you and I want one so bad.!!! awesome, you made my day.
