From the early 1900's through the 1960's and beyond Conn remained one of the most innovative brass makers of the era, always willing to experiment and meet the needs of the trombonist of the day; the 40H is a great example of this, combining a tuning-in-slide (TIS) design with a unique bell position to create an instrument uniquely suited for 1920's trombonists (but with an interestingly modern feel!)
