A great find Mark and good price for sure!!! I still remember buying my copy at Woolworth's when it first came out!!!....still have the original copy....i'm sure i played it hundreds of times but i always took super good care of my records....😊
First of all Mark I love your channel. Great find, it's great to have a sharp eye. I recently got a copy of Elvis Gold Records Vol. 4 on the orange label, ridgid vinly for $10 on ebay in VG+ condition on the cover and near mint on the record. Keep up the great work.
Nice job. The record in the packaging look beautiful, but the album was so popular and sold so well that there’s just not really that much of a great demand, unless it’s got the hype sticker to go with it. 😊 At current time, I own 14 copies of “Blues Hawaii”. Is something weird going on here? 😂
That looks a Sure Hit to me Mark 😀! You got an incredible deal on this beautiful copy of Blue Hawaii 💙! I will never understand why it isnt everyone's favourite Soundtrack album 😀 ... Its certainly Mine .. Cheers Mark 🎙🎶🥂
The album itself is very nice. As far as the jacket I’m a little concerned due to the shrink wrap being so tightly bound to the jacket. That I’ve seen in later pressings of the 1970’s throughout the 90’s. As far as the inner sleeve, RCA would place those albums in sleeves advertising Elvis’s record catalog. I don’t believe the jacket and sleeve are original to the record album. Ed this is only my opinion and the record album itself sounds great.
If it were a 1970's onward pressing it would have an "RE" stamped at the bottom left hand side of the cover. You're right about the hype sticker, but this would only appear on a true first pressing. Of course this is only my option.
