Great review! It was revealed later in the movie that the guy who put the spear through the couple was the fisherman, Simon. He explained this in a flashback scene. The only people the kids killed were their own parents at the very end of the movie, they weren't responsible for any of the other murders.

This is one of my favorite Giallo films. I love it! awesome review as always. Definitely my favorite Bava film.

A Bay Of Blood is a lot of fun, but not my favorite Bava. I like Shock, Kill Baby Kill, and Evil Eye (The Girl Who Knew Too Much) more.

A great Bava movie! Even though my first viewing came some 45 years after it's debut I still found it to be entertaining and memorable. Knowing all that we know about the slasher genre it was eye opening to see so many influential tropes introduced here. What could Mario have done with a massive Hollywood budget at his disposal?

Aside from Psycho and Peeping Tom, this was one of the first true slasher movies and inspired all that ensued (i.e., Black Christmas, Halloween and Friday the 13th). A classic indeed.

One of the best I’ve seen! Really good. Have you ever rated a movie 5 out of 5? Which one? I’ll watch that. Also, please watch and review “The House of the Yellow Carpet”. There are no reviews for this movie. I had to watch it twice to truly understand it and then wound up liking it. Thanks!

I'll have to see when I can get to that movie and review it. There are a few movies I have given 5 out of 5. Off the top of my head I think The Shining, The Thing, Assassination Nation, and Dogs Don't Wear Pants.
