Thank you for emphasizing the need to cover dig holes! On the Texas Gulf Coast we are getting banned from more and more locations because of the poor conditions left by detectorists.

Wow, what a beautiful gold chain. Congrats on that and the ring, hope that you check those diamonds in a 14K ring. Wanted to let you know when you showed your bacon on the grill and started talking about it, I had to put the video on pause and go get something to eat. Us southern boys love their bacon, even if it is not rural south. Question for you Mr. J. when you wear your shoes on the beach, do you also wear some socks to prevent the sand from rubbing your feet raw? I know that is a random, and from the left field question, but just wondering since I had my toes ate up one day.

No I do not wear socks with my beach shoes, Now if I am going on a long hike first then I wear shoes then put on my beach shoes when I hit the sand. Also after 38 years my feet and toes are pretty tough so I am used to the sand. Thank you 🤙

Hi Jim Great watching you work. I would like to know what settings you have as I find it difficult to find targets with so much noise.

Noise, due to trash or soil? my setting change as needed depending on the beach. I use beach 1 in dry and beach 2 in wet, adjust sensitivity as needed and adjust recovery speed based on soil density and amount of close targets if soils is dense I turn recovery to 4 if lots of targets I turn it up to 7, iron bias I usually find keeping it at FE6 is almost perfect on most all beaches. I hope that helps!

Those people are takers, not givers. Last time at Santa Monica I filled in multiple holes dug by others. And I was rewarded with $3.35. No gold or silver. Yesterday doing curb strips in East L A, I dug three silver dimes that gave me a Trifecta, plus $13.95. I suck at the beach. I think your, would you dig it is a toy car.

sorry,the way you started the video it shows you recovering the necklace,and you had already scooped it up,i did not see that part till later in the video.after watching the whole video i saw you dig it for real. i have been detecting for over 25 years and i have found over 500 rings at the local swimming holes. good luck

I think I have tried about everything, toilet cleaner seams to work the best but even then some stay crusty those I soak for months in olive oil then tumble them again once the debris comes off.
