I accidentally started this quest. And here I was looking for a way to complete it. Thanks for this straightforward guide. Right to the point with the possible rewards too.
I knew I wasn't crazy but I was sneaking around the castle. I saw him in the castle. I thought the whole ploy was going to be the fact that he's not actually poor but he's actually going to aristocrat or something. But seeing he was married to some cat lady in the slums was confusing because I know for a fact I saw him. I know that some NPCs might look similar but this NPC had his voice his name and looks like him and I was like there is no way that was a two separate characters. I saw him inside that house in the castle. I followed him to the tavern but when he got to his house he closed the door behind him. He like sprint it to his house, close the door behind him and would not let me in. I've been trying to figure out how to do this quest forever and eventually I just decided to sit and wait for him which took ages. He tells the same stories over and over and over
0:24 so THAT'S how you tell the time! I've been wondering for so long! I just figured they didn't put that feature in the game. Not being able to tell what time it actually is has made it impossible for me to do this quest. I'll give this a shot later. Thank you for the vid!
Im so glad the game even hints to waiting till one to steal his robe to sell to three people i never thought of associating with him instead of me wondering around like an idiot trying to figure out it has nothing to do with the stories themselves or anything that seems logical instead i have to look it up on the internet so happy about quests here. So straight forward
Hahaha I made a mistake when he asked me 3 times for 100G it peed me off cause he didn't tell me the story he was trying to sell for the gold in the first place so I killed him. Then realised there's a quest attached to him, and it's been in my quest log for about a week so I had to go revive him and do it properly. 😅
What if you try to give it to him inside his house? The option came up for me to give them to him but I went back outside and gave them to Hilda instead.
So I've been playing this game for 90+ hours now and this was one of the very first quests I did, I chose to go with Celina's path and nothing happened yet. She told me to visit her after few days but it's been forever and I couldn't manage to find them, is there a way to progress the quest and completed it? If I remember correctly, I think I killed the beggar's, should I check the cemetery and revive him?
I gave his outfit to celina and it says that i should wait and then go to his home and talk to celina again and i skiped like 2 weeks already by sleeping but i cant do anything i tried to get inside i tried it at night i talked to everybody there is but nothing did i do Something wrong.
Kind of a dumb way to open the door but I just carried his sorry ass to where the beggars garb is. I threw his ass through the door and it glitched enough that the door opened. I took about 5-10 tries but it worked.
I gave the garb to Hilda got her reward Picked up Albert took him to the slums where Celina chased him all the way back to his rich wife. Celina left so I picked her up and brought her into the house Celina and Hilda started fighting 😂😂😂 I then found out Celina kilt Albert and herself 😭
Same. Did you figure out how to get around this? EDIT: figured it out. You have to wait outside his house for a few minutes. It took like three minutes (in real life) of me just chillin outside his house before he comes out. He'll be wearing some black nobleman's robes. Once he's out, then you can go in and grab the stuff.
The two outcomes I've experienced Being exposed by rich wife. Murder suicide by poor wife. 🤣🤣🤣 The second one was absolutely a, "whoopsy daisy" moment for me 🤣🤣🤣
These quests are pretty ridiculous, to be honest. The NPCs stop you mid quest and but the hell out of you, even to the point of starting new qusets you didn't want to do.
@@Terrince_Tate its just so annoying that the quest is so half assed when its like one of the first quests you get activated. Like, atleast make the NPC walk to their home after talking to the beastren, so it goes through smoother instead of having to rest on benches and try to catch up to their house before the door is locked or stand infront of them the entire ingame day for them to f*cking move it.
@@madkittehz im so in a rage for this topic...not unemployed or a student to waste hours a day sitting in front of my screen observing NPCs . i have to go to work in RL...all weekend wasted on a stupid side quest in a stupid RPG.
Crapcom not putting QoL because of dumb excuses but then they put the most boring and brainless quests (literal point A to point B in the most boring way).
You literally rest till nighttime, then wait about 5-7 irl minutes around the house you can buy, go down the stairs after you hear albert say some shit, and you can go in
Agreed. “Any new quest ideas guys?” “How about sneaking into the castle at night and stealing a document?” “We did that already” “Yeah, but this time, it’ll be the room next door!” Good thing the combat and exploration are amazing, because the quests seem like they were thrown together in a week.
