Sorry for being outside the topic but you would really have my gratitude If you could help.I have login an amazon cloud virtual machine with red hat linux operating system using ssh at my windows command prompt .When I start writing a command for example write first two letters of chown 'ch' pressing Tab once just makes a noise instead of autocompeting.If i press it twice it shows a list with all commands starting with ch as it should. I have installed bash-completion but it doesnt work.How can I make Tab to autocomplete properly at Linux sorry for the stupid question but could the problem be at my windows command prompt settings or is it something I should do at the cloud virtual machine?

Can you share with me what version of RHEL are you using in your Amazon cloud virtual machine? Enter this in the terminal "source /etc/profile.d/bash_completion.sh" and see if after this the autocomplete works, if it does then you can add this command at the end of the .bashrc file

Hi just wanted to say, what an amazing video, it is very helpful for the linux community. I have one problem though: I have Spyder IDE downloaded but it doesn't seem to register as an editor in the drop down menu on the desktop. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue, so that Spyder is recognised by the desktop app?

Thank you for the kind comment, GitHub desktop currently only supports certain editors. Spyder IDE as of right now is not supported. You can read more about all the editors supported by GitHub Desktop here github.com/desktop/desktop/blob/development/docs/technical/editor-integration.md

It's not officially supported by github itself, so I'm having this doubt, is it safe to install on the linux system? I'm new to linux too so I don't know much.

It is a folk of the official GitHub desktop client that has been ported to Linux, so it should be safe. I used it and did not find any issues with it. If you find it unsafe, you can use third party clients like GitKraken.
