I'm bi and had a girlfriend behind my parents back. they found out about my sexuality before i was ready and they reacted so negative. i was taken outta school, and homeschooled, and had my phone taken away. I'm still dating her behind their back, even tho we can't talk much. your confidence in yourself gives me the inspiration to be proud of who I am, even if I have to hide it from my family until I move out. my sexuality is something that I ignored because I felt like I 'had' to be straight. it feels so much better being myself and understanding that I can love the girl I want to

Omg. Amber I can totally relate to your story. I grew up in catholic school and in avery conservative catholic family. The way the ither students and the nuns were badmouthing this girl who wasn't afraid to be who she was traumatized me and I repressed my feelings for women. Now at 40 I am finally out and living my truth. Love your videos and how you represent the LGBTQ community.

I just recently lost my best friend to illness. I’ve been crying for days now and i have no one to keep me company. So to cheer myself up I figured I’d watch something that reminded me of her life and all the nights we’d stay up watching RU-vid. Amber automatically came to mind. We watched Amber way back in middle school, i’m graduated now. My best friend never made me feel ashamed of who i was and was the first to ever support me being lesbian. This was the first video that popped up... a sign from my best friend. I love you, O. Run with the wolves 🐺🖤⚡️

I really appreciate this side of you. It me brings back memories of my son’s struggle coming out. He came out to me a number of years ago. Although my mind tells me that he had the absolute right to tell me when he was ready, my heart hurts wondering if I sent him any kind of signal, that I would respond with anything other than UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. We have talked about it a number of times and I have apologized if had. He tells me that it’s ok and he loves me but I still struggle with gilt about maybe being a better father. I have told him that too. The only thing I can do is be as open with him as much as I love him and am proud of him. We talk about our usual topics; Sci-Fi, philosophy. I’ve learned so much from him about the LGBTQ+ community. People are just well,,,,,,, People. He’s such a good guy. To know him is to love him.
