Never saw any of you somehow on park..saw keith on enso though..again..shame missed you would of been great to say hello for new season..sure we will soon enough though..glad you enjoyed sunday a lot more..
Pleasure Beach, and Amanda are the most mental park in the country, which is both good and bad. It does mean they make irrational business decisions that benefit us. Spending that much money on Valhalla and Big one back in the day to try and set world records shows it. I would totally expect them to do something crazy like get the prototype RMC TRex giga. At the very least a raptor in place of infusion over that water would be SO SICK. The only places in the UK that could get an RMC are Thorpe and Blackpool, and I'm rooting for the latter. Despite it's quirks the pleasure beach is still a worldwide iconic place
@@yourexperienceguide indeed, if anything, the park needs more rides added, not less! lol Start filling the spaces where rides used to be first, along with replacing the Grand Prix before you think of anything like that.
Great upload scott great to see the lads at BPPB .and you are right park aint ready to open dont no what they are playing at but that sort of opening weekend will put of people wanting to return and to purchase a membership.need to up there game and FAST 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Had a wonderful day Sunday but don’t you think the North Park is terrible at the moment so much space lacking atmosphere from what it was. No Ice Blast, Noah’s Ark retired, Skyliner removed, Water Chute removed, Wild Mouse removed, Dodgems removed, Trauma Towers/Tagada removed, Black Hole removed and Impossible not operating the North side is a shadow of its normal self and certainly not ride intensive anymore. So much gone from the last 20 years it’s beyond belief!
Great video as always 😁 On Avalanche, I’d be sad to see it go. Partly because it’s an enjoyable and unique ride, but mostly because I like the station theming. If it was replaced with another coaster we’d probably end up with another modern, grey box for a station 😅 Also, now Grand Prix is going, probably makes sense to move Icon’s speedy pass and enzo queue to the space beside the main queue so you don’t have to walk miles to find it!
@@yourexperienceguide I wonder, could the avalanche station be used for whatever coaster replaces it if it was altered slightly? If the track was on the right hand side of the station, rather than the left-hand side, would that make it possible? It’s something I’ve been wondering, that way they could still have the Alpine theme, but with a different type of coaster for it🤔
I actually don’t understand your problems I was there both days yes Saturday was poor but some of that was down to the weather Sunday was much better. I’m sorry you slag the place of so much why bother even going.
Whilst I preferred the purple on the ghost train, I do like the bright blue, at the very least it’s a nice vibrant colour, which, considering what they did with the teardrop for the dippers 100 last season, I’ll take it! LOL And I think Mike is right, if there’s holes/mountain brackets, then they probably are going to put something up there.
Ive always thought about what kind pf major rides they could do to really change up the lineup Replace ice blast with a viking / steampunk themed wave swinger or wind seeker model Convert Grand national to a RMC racer model, I feel at this point its a disservice to not upgrade Grand national or Big dipper to one as at some point or another one of them will get closed due to age. get ride of the grand pri and build a launch coaster or intemin launch with the the EU height record to add even more to the skyline, there's no reason BPPB cant build the layout of track above and around the landscape they have just from the grand prix removal, have in wind around the outskirts of the park really add another huge coaster that traverses the park like the big one, they pulled a miracle getting icon in that space and the length of it is owed to how well the engineers and deisners used the nooks and crannys in between al the other coasters in that area, don't see why intemin couldn't design something smashing all the records if they threw all the money at it! If Blackpool could see that the investment of Building two or three major new rides in the shortest space of time to take the skyline to a new level it would bring new levels of self marketing
Infusion is horrible, pain from start to finish. Then again I find grand national to be extremely painful as well. I also haven't been on the big one since I had a really awful experience on it a few years ago when I got thrown around like a rag doll. I love going on avatar and arrows, they're really relaxing and pleasant. I dont spin on the arrows i just wag my legs in the air lol. I also have to have at least ten rides on thrill o matic!
Agree with infusion. Went on it for the first time the other day and absolutely destroyed my head. Made the ride not as enjoyable unfortunately. Hopefully they sort it. I renamed it to brain infusion 😂
Hello guys, really enjoyed your content over the last few days, however I'm visiting the pleasure Beach at the end of May,and I'm very nervous about attempting the Big One. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
Just imagine you’re on the Big Dipper but it’ll be taller, that really helped me. Also sit in the left hand seat so when you’re going up the lift hill, you’ve got the steps by you and not the sheer drop
Like the only real bit of the big one is the drop which I am guessing is what your scared of, ride nickelodeon streak as that is the about the same sensation of the big ones first drop, the amount of time u feel the airtime is literally the same as any of the air time hills of nickelodeon streak, I would recommend doing nickelodeon streak first thing as its always busy with 1 train and then do whatever u wish from there. Ride the big one on the front row or close to the front as u get less airtime than at the back, I conquered my fear literally last Yr on the big one and it's the same as any first drop just with a good view and going fast which doesn't matter as the rest of the layout is rlly tame 😁
Grand Prix replacement - I don't think it will be a Mack due to cost. In an ideal world it would be a great fit for a medium family spinning coaster. But that won't bring in the crowds. I think RMC single rail is the best bet but I've always thought the bowl-a-drome space would be a better area for that I don't want to see Avalanche removed for one ride, there's so much going and not much replacing. Who knows we might get absolutely nothing in its place. I remember signs around Wild Mouse after it was being demolished saying 'something exciting is coming' or something to that effect, can't remember word for word 😂 but we got a stage They have a lot to do before bringing in a new attraction, the park isn't too easy on the eye at the moment and first impressions count. Wallace and Infusion come to mind. They have to do something similar to Thorpe if they bring something new in - they are gonna need to tidy up the park
A full scale “sparkle” type project like we’ve seen at Thorpe Park is absolutely essential now, BPB doesn’t look very good at all. They stated there’d be future developments in the Wild Mouse area, that was 6 years ago 🤯
@@yourexperienceguide my guess is, they probably were going to replace the mouse a lot sooner, but then Covid happened and their finances suffered, but hopefully they will eventually replace it properly someday🤞🙏
@@yourexperienceguide unfortunately so and it all costs money. It's hard to see a park we love not quite hitting the mark and losing its way. I read a comment on Facebook that said they paid big money for Consultant's to come in and advise but they didn't listen 🤦 hope that's not true Let's hope after the big one retracking is complete more funds for project sparkle become available 🤞
I’m not an expert by any means.. but I grew up in the 80’s and the Arrow coasters were what I knew.. Just a question.. now Arrow is no more how does the big one etc get maintained as in parts??
Check out our playlist for how they do the retracking maintenance ➡️ The Big One Retrack | 2019-2024 ru-vid.com/group/PLPP-gAINsu20Qa1i3Wm7Vp7fvcLSErzj9 As for the other stuff, parts can be sourced from S&S and Vekoma
Great honest Vlog. I love your discussions about future possible rides. Unlike when the Wild Mouse suddenly shut, there was no upset on your vlog about the Grand Prix becoming SBNO. Thoughts? Great work guys though. Thoroughly enjoyed watching.
Shame Big One didn't open, totally agree, they could have tested it through the week without winding up the guests at the weekend - enjoyed the vid guys
If avalanche goes with Grand Prix, that’s a massive space for something big and cool, otherwise it’s got to be something compact at most an RMC/Intamin single rail or a Mack big dipper maybe. If they can’t weave a coaster around avalanche if it stays it must be a flat. A drop tower would do like Steven said, Grona Lund have multiple tower rides so why not? I hope they don’t leave us hanging for long it’ll be exciting to find out. Great two vlog from the weekend it was great to be back 🙂
That one Car on the ghost train, sounds like the PB express most of the time! 😂 But yeah I agree ghost train is probably my favourite dark ride on Park these days and has been for the last 13/14 years because of all the new stuff they’ve added to it. Yeah River Caves is the dark ride that needs the most money spent on it no doubt about it.
At least you got on a few more rides on your 2nd day, still not ideal though. You would think the park would sort any issues out during the winter break to be honest. Just hope things improve.
A dualing rmc raptor, double the thruput of a low capacity ride, but one that doesn't take up much footprint to allow for the possibility of another attraction to go in.
Good to see your day was better. I think they should go back to 1/2 price tickets for wow weekends. I would be much more forgiving knowing that the park a knowledges would be a high risk of things not being ready, no water rides being open and the weather likely being wet and cold and so they charge less and I accept the risk. It was my birthday on Saturday and I considered coming down from Scotland but I am glad I didn’t. If I was PBR I would replace the trains on infusion with ones with better restraints before replacing a coaster but if I was to get a new coaster that I hope would attract people into the park and be reliable I would definitely not go for another tall coaster. I would get a B&M surf 🏄 🏄♀️ 🏄♂️ coaster. It is seaside theme and would now be the only stand up coaster in the UK.
@@yourexperienceguide I think the best way they could put one in is to redo Grand National, but I don't know how much they could do with the space they've got.
@@yourexperienceguide I would hope a Raptor would get people talking as well. But marketing is the biggest part of the battle. But imagine, a Raptor would make up for the loss of Wild Mouse in my mind.
If you press your head back really tight and hard to the headrest and manage to do that all the way round you can avoid the head bashing but it’s really not good.
