Chiken balls are a very common in Brazil and are called Coxinha, but I had no idea it was called chiken balls in english, I think most brazillians who know english will just call it Coxinha when talking about it.
Price fell victim to the oldest board game trick in the book... The game only teaches you enough to get started, but eventually makes you sell all your property... I've seen it 1000 times
Not having this game, I can't say much but there was a 'How to Play' option in the menu so they could learn. It is a common thing of Let's Players though to jump into games without knowing the processes. Can remember many different times of seeing videos of 'How do I do this' or 'What do I do now', 'What button do I press', etc. I understand the desire to entertain fans and reading tutorials isn't always interesting but at the same time it is educational for people to understand the gameplay too.
Lol The "chicken balls" are just fried dumplings stuffed with chicken. They're super popular here in Brazil, but we call them "coxinhas", which translates to "little thighs".
The moment Price said that the developers were Brazilians, I'm pretty sure it's a light bulb moment for a lot of people to think "Coxinha". Nice balls :)
😂 with the buyback mechanic I’m imagining a different Stumpt member walking up to the kiosk every day and throwing money at it I’m just living for the upgrades 😋
ok, so chicken ball is definetely coxinha, which is a soft fried dough with pulled chicken inside. it's delicious, and if you ever get the chance I'd recommend trying or just "come to brazil" and try it hehe edit: the thing on top of the hot dog is most likely mashed potatoes, very common here in São Paulo, and it's goooood
Droppped down to comment on the coxinhas at 21:30 , happy to see someone beat me to it! We make them sometimes at family gatherings. Kind of like a bite sized, deep fried thanksgiving dinner.
Omg 2 minutes in to the game I hear the music of my nightmares, Prodigy Math. For reference of the current education sources, Prodigy Math is a math website that allows you to kinda RPG and do quests while fighting monsters with math. The game was really popular a few years ago when I was in middle school and the music was super distinctive so I immediately picked it up. Curious to see who developed it
as a long time viewer of stumpt, i think that the second half of the game has got to be one of the most extreme examples of the power of jazzy luck, haha (just by sheer frequency alone!) it never fails to crack me up whenever stuff like that happens in your videos. thanks for the laughs, as always ⭐️
I always hear people say Monopoly takes a long time to play, but every time I've played the video game versions it's usually been 1-2 hours which isn't a long time. It may feel longer as there are a lot of times that are slow burns, going around nickle and dimeing people until you get enough money and property for houses and hotels for example, but compare that to some of the 'wargame' style things like Risk which can last for hours if you don't go ballistic spreading yourself thin.
It's a shame it felt like the winner was determined near the beginning of the match. Price dumping so much rebuy cash onto Jas seemed to give her a pretty large advantage, which the game just didn't seem to account for.
So the "Ice Cream Party each quarter" thing is the reason why there is the #pizzaisnotworking hashtag going on detailing the horrendous working conditions in the retail pharmacy industry. It's a major issue that isn't entirely being alleviated by the unions because most of the unions only represent the pharmacists and not the technicians, so the corporate suits implement policies to make the pharmacists less valuable and the replaceable technicians have more duties. That's the reason why I joined the IWW before I started trying to talk to other people about unionization. The other issue is that a lot of the regulatory agencies are in the pockets of the corporate offices, and the other other issue is that the largest chain of pharmacies also owns one of the largest health insurance and pharmacy benefits companies, which massively underpays the competition for their drugs, and also locks in patients to only use the Major Retail Chain. Which is a MAJOR violation of the U.S. Anti-trust act and I am asking everyone to write to their federal representatives and the Federal Trade Commission demanding that the ruling allowing the merger to take place be reversed and the implementation of laws and policies to prevent corporate agreements that can back-door inhibit competition. This is a request for concerted action from fellow workers and fellow citizens to alleviate stresses of working conditions.
Jaz had fairly decent luck, but she mostly won because yall made terrible decisions. xD Price could have not sold everything (accidentally), Ash could have sat in jail for free instead of paying money to get out, Aenna shouldn't have rebought properties when she couldn't afford it, etc.
I assume the chicken balls are based of brasilian styled snack called coxinha which is shredded chicken wirth spices with a yuca root potato dough mixture shaped into tear drops and deep fried
this is actually cool i like it and it have colourblind mode! if you guys play this game more maybe show other player view like this time Ash maybe next time Jazzy ☺️
How does Jaz keep having such good luck at these games? She won the glitchy Monopoly, she won the mobile phone Monopoly, now she's won a Monopoly knockoff. How does she do it?
Anybody notice how ash bought his way out of jail but is more advantageous to stay there. I know he rolled a double but if he didn't that would be the 2nd biggest blunder what he did was the 1st.
So basically... Ash kinda just moved around and did fairly well. Anne is kinda bad with money? Price sadly sold everything and spends the second half railing against capitalism. Jazz wins by just kinda playing the game.
The name is similar to Monopoly but the rule is different I think it more popular in Asia and SEA because it simpler than monopoly. You basically buy the spot(kiosk in this one) then land on it again for upgrade the more you upgrade other people will pay more. The popular mobile game one called "Line Let's get rich" have the rule that similar to this game.
Chicken balls, maybe might just be fried balls of chicken meat. (do you not get that from your oriental delivery restaurants. Just seems common in britain).
Yeah, I was wondering about this as well. Chinese restaurants here in Finland always have them. Deep fried balls with a thin layer of dough on the outside and chicken meat on the inside.
@@GamingontheMellowASMR yer pretty much the same in Britain but you can also find it in some cheap Japanese and Korean takeaway places and the occasional kabab place too.
This game reminds me reason why I don’t play monopoly too much luck base rolling (which make game last forever due luck of rolling a spefic set dice) and would rather play fortune street smart (the only English version fortune street that I able play due fact it mobile game and the other is only for the wii ) more due it core mechanics how different maps have different choices you can both at start and at end how you can still win even if don’t own most costly properties also fact it doesn’t take forever helps as well as you can customize the game rules for how many bankruptcies and what money objective to go far smaller maps are a lot faster while big maps take longer.
It fascinates me that none of you know what chicken balls are, it's like such a staple of chinese food to me. I've been eating chicken balls basically my whole life.
It felt strange to watch that, why not just play the game all the way through lol that’s the whole point of the video, the viewers all clicked on the video and had watched it up until that point so the viewer is clearly enjoying it, and also it didn’t make any since that they kept on saying how things would continue on forever with just the 2 of them, that was clearly not true lol with the mechanics of the game giving you so much less back for the property then was put into it, the game was going to rap itself up rather quickly, if either of them lands on each other a few or couple more times then the game would be over
Not sure about better than Monopoly, but definitely better than the two pathetic attempts at making a Monopoly game for PC I've seen before. Not that it's hard to be better than those two.
Yeah, but it is a fine line to walk between being yourself on the one hand and on the other hand remembering that many people watch these videos as distraction from real life or real world problems and won't therefore enjoy being reminded of them.
