I heard years ago not to "boost" Facebook posts (before Meta owned IG), but it slipped my mind that I shouldn't "boost" Instagram posts either. Thanks for the reminder, explanation & tutorial.

You explained very well. Thank you. I have one question - this video is good for lead gen via website but if we want to increase followers on instagram we need 'profile visit' option which is not there in ads manager. How to do that?
i tried this, but the existing post ran as a seperate ad on its own, instead of boosting the views on the video i chose. it didnt increase the views on it. But the same reel ran as a seperate ad video. Facebook reprisentitives dont even know what to do about it. they keep "connecting me to someone else" How can i prevent that from happening?
Thanks for the walkthrough. There are errors around every corner when you try to set this up, though. These apps simply do not function well, especially when it comes to interconnectivity.

Hey Andrew! Quick question. So I boosted my Instagram reel recently and my Ad received around 64k views. But the ad view does nor reflect on the reel’s view count. The reel’s view count shows the organic view counts, around 1.5k. Is this how it is or is there a way to show ad views on reels on my feed?

i had the same, i wanted more messengers instead of website and i got the same notification. when i changed this to website, i was able to use existing post
Quick question is the copyrighted song is the video itself with the music or not the one u just select for reels u can choose from in the music gallery of reels is the one with the music provided in reels allowed to be advertised?
I think it’s the music you select from the library on IG. If you add copyright free music before uploading to Instagram on an app like CapCut or any other app, you should be fine.

Can someone please explain to me: I live in Brazil, but my Instagram posts are all in english, 90% of my followers are from english speaking countries... When I boost a post on IG (Automatic public target) it targets people from my location (even when my location is 100% turned off for IG)... How can I target people from England and US ?

I tried to use the lookalike audience (people who've liked our page) but it said my audience size was too small, would this be because not enough people have liked our page ?
I tried boosting a reel with my voice as primary and background song as secondary. The reel got boosted but my reel showed audio unavailable and got muted. Why is that so? Although the reel had sound when I saw on another account and another cell phone. Please help
What if I don't want to link my Instagram Account with my Facebook Account? I can't run any ads now as my payments were paused and Instagram forces me to link my account with Facebook. But I don't want too. How can I fix it. The review report isn't working. Stuck with this now.
@@AndrewHubbard1 because Facebook have lots of restrictions and might restrict your account for 30 days. Then you are not able to share anything or promote.
Please someone help me, I tried to boost one of the recent reel in Instagram, I have filled the profile & paid 1000/- (Indian Rupee). But now it shows that the reel is not boosted, so where my money got deducted? & what should I do?😢
I disagree. If you want more Instagram attention, boosting works. If you want more Facebook attention fb ads works. He’s actually over complicating what he’s saying here. I’ve had great luck with IG boosting.
Think you're missing my point - which is pressing the boost button to promote a post on Instagram isn't a good option because it's extremely limited in terms of the options available to you. It's better to use the ads manager to promote post on Instagram (and FB) because you have more flexibility in your setup which allows you to get better results. I don't like relying on "luck" with ads.
Genuine question - have you compared both methods? And if so did you find using boost post button got you better results? I'd be really curious to learn more about that if you have

Yeah I used boost for 6 day period 5$ a day for 4 photos now nd it has jump started my account bck if u were stagnant like me for years nd want to start growing again that seems like the best method but it's not a one nd done situation either though once u get traction u got to keep it going
i'm a year late to this video but my biggest question is how to do this WITHOUT A FB ACCOUNT. I've never had a Facebook account and have no interest in doing so, but I did create an IG for my side business a few years back specifically to try to just get out into the socials. I was able to boost posts here and there without linking to FB. Now I've launched a more dedicated IG for said business and want to boost it up, but apparently today it's not possible at all to boost without FB.
If you are using the lookalike audience can you edit the age range and gender ? Or does that limited the audience size. You only said it for picking interests
@Siddy I’m not sure what you mean. That’s not how the process works. You put a credit card on file or link your PayPal account, and Facebook bills you AFTER showing your ads. They never charge before any ads are shown.
why is meta business so bad , boost button doesn't work keeps asking me to login to facebook when I do it starts over again and fb page won't link to instagram page
My Video Got 10k Likes From The Previous Ad.But When i Click On Boost Again,My All Likes Are Gone I Had From Previous Ad.It Started From 2,235 Likes Again. instagram Ads Sucks.
Another reason why I don’t use the boost button. If you do as I show in the video and use the ads manager, you can select “use existing post” and select the post with all the likes on it to promote again. Pressing boost again likely created a new dark post with zero likes.
