Hi De hi campers, join me for a chilly bimble and a brew in the woods. Nothing too exciting to report, just chilling with a brew and a fire in the Bushbox.
Hi Gavin, a great little bimble there 👍🏻That cherry wood looks lovely mate, look forward to seeing what you come up with from that. Cheers, atb, Paul 🙏🏻
Cheers Mark, always good to get some dirt time. That pot hanger is the Pocket Fire Anchor by TJM Metalworks, awesome bit of kit, it pretty much comes on every trip, if it's not hanging a pot over the fire, it's hanging a lantern 👍
Cheers Giles, yes that Cherry simply couldn't be left! Will be doing some spoon carving in the shed today! Thanks as always for watching, I shall look forward to watching your latest video later today 👍
Hi Tim, those fresh rolls from Morrisons ain't too shabby! The Helikon Bergen is a really nice pack. I always enjoy using it, I just wish it was bigger because then it'd be perfect for camping 👍
Nice one Gavin sorry I missed you, I was probably about 30/40 minutes behind you lol. Lovely relaxed video, exactly what it's all about as you said. Enjoy that cherry wood too 👍 Catch up soon.
@Barneys Bimbles I've run out of things to rant about 🤷♂️ I was going to rant about you and Londoner Outdoors who get me to do rants but never comment on the video with your rants in when I do one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's an old English expression which refers to walking with no particular haste or purpose. I believe its origins are with the military who would use this term when not out on parade or TAB'ing (Tactical Advance to Battle). I kind of think that Bimble is a nice way to describe a leisurely walk in the woods! 👍
