We are a family of 6 living life in North Pole, Alaska! Where Santa Claus House is right down the street! We love spending time together as a family, having fun, learning through homeschooling, growing in our faith, and building our forever home! I stayed in Denali for 2 days, took the bus through the park and also did rafting, I had a blast. After I returned to Colorado I moved to Alaska

Love seeing the cousins holding hands and running together! I was with my cousins almost every day as a kid, it’s a really special bond and definitely the more the merrier! As for their mommas, the Jessica’s used to come across as thick as thieves in old videos but now we never even see them say hello to one another. Hope everything’s okay.

Happy Saturday SOMERS. I hope you’re having a good day. Summer continues on, and I hope you SOMERS continue on staying safe during the wildfire situation. As a former Fairbanks, Alaska resident, I dealt with wildfire before when I was a kid. And now, I’m in South Carolina now. I saw the news on Alaska news. Seeing all of you rafting brought back so many great memories. Back in the mists of time, when I lived in Montana, I took a rafting/kayaking glamping trip down the Salmon River in Idaho, as well as many rafting and whitewater kayaking outings on the Stillwater River in Montana. SO MUCH FUN!! I'd sit at the front of the raft or just behind the lead paddlers since I LOVED reaching and digging hard into the big waves and troughs of class 3+ sections. I was laughing as I started yelling at my little phone screen - DIG! DIG! 😂 Your raft guide was fun to see and I love that he gave you the tour of the beauty of the river besides the paddling parts. ❤ Loved seeing everyone enjoying the beauty of nature and the midnight sun.

I did this river rafting in Denali back in the 1980s. Loved it. Saw some big horn sheep up on the side of the mountain. Want to go back.

In central Florida I don't do to much. Everything has to be done in the early morning of late evening. In the winter months we take nature walks, fishing, biking and 🏊. Stay cool happy people😎

I have free hot springs that I go to and there is a stream you can go in too if you want to cool off. So nice that they are free!! I use to live in Florida and I went to the cold springs there all summer long. They stay 72 degrees year around. My town also has flea markets every Saturday and I go to them every Saturday. Today I bought a set of antlers!! So excited to have them and put them up. I love to go into the mountains to look at wildlife, go hiking, go wading in the streams, go on the ATV.

White water rafting is such a rush!! Love it! Never rafted in Alaska though.... its on the bucket list!! Also I try to do a 5k (charity walk/runs) every 4 to 6 weeks. Love doing those as well. Glad to see your whole family out and about spending quality time together, having Fun but more importantly..... making memories!! Thanks for sharing!!

Summer Solstice & Somers' FAMILY.... Woohoo!! I absolutely LOVE to see sooo many members of the Family ( also vloggers) come together for FAMILY FUN!! We stayed in Denali for 3 nights in September 1990 and it was sunny and clear. We went whitewater rafting, took the bus tour of the park, and visited the sled dog hq. I loved the genealogy of the dogs who worked in the park in the winter. We loved it and I want to take my 24 year old daughter. I am now disabled and not able to walk very much. Will look into accessible trips. Love your videos.

We named our dog Denali after my love of Alaska, for now my dream remains, one day hopefully before I’m 50 in three years we will visit Alaska . Don’t quite get 24 hrs of daylight here in the U.K. , currently it’s dark for around 10:30pm and light around 4am .

I celebrated the summer solstice this year by installing a blackout blind and being able to sleep through the night without being wakened early by dawn arriving at around 4 a.m..

The heat index in Maryland was 110 degrees on the solstice, so we actually just stayed hydrated in the AC. Summer here has become a rather miserable experience for me. I’m definitely a cold weather lady.

Don't do anything for the summer solstice because the small town in KS I live in is just to hot. It already reached 110 degrees today. I also live in the middle of nowhere. Looked fun but wouldn't catch me white water rafting because I have a fear of open water and a fear of drowning. Here in Kansas we don't have a midnight sun unfortunately.
