Ah, the Dunt, what a lovely & picturesque river it is, we sure are blessed around these parts with our little rivers and streams. It is OK, you don't have to describe your contentment for our walks as we know how much enjoyment you get from the walks, which is for me personally heartwarming 😊. And you are so right, every tour is different but the same also, probably because of a similar filming style but in a different location. I realise my style will not be for everyone but I am thrilled you enjoy it. Where's the mayhem? England is still 85% rural. We're literally surrounded by beauty. I don't live in a village - indeed a post-industrial northern town - but I have lovely canal and agricultural land walks just 20 mins walk from my doorstep, thatched cottages 5 minutes' walk from my house and deeper countryside of Cheshire or Lancashire just 20 minutes train journey away. Within 25 minutes' walk I know where to forage blackberries, sloes, elderflowers and berries, nettles, wild garlic, wild damsons etc. Further afield, I can be in the Peak District, the Lake District, North Wales, the Trough of Bowland, the Lancashire coast, etc within 2 hours.
