My goodness Andy, that must have been horrific for you and yours. Really sorry to hear that. They do say photography can be therapeutic, but my woes are nothing to what you've been through.
I feel for you, David. I spent a couple of years caring for my late wife, and the past year rehabilitating myself. I'm only now getting back to some serious photography, and I am finding it very therapeutic. I leep threatening to visit your part of the world, having never been there yet. Hopefully in the next few months. Finally, thank you for your stand against sponsorship - as a paying RU-vid subscriber, I welcome not having to fast forward through Squarespace messages!
We all need to find something to release the pressures of life. Anglesey and Snowdonia are magical. Once you've visited you'll want to return.... many times. Take care, keep strong
Hope your family health issues get resolved, or at least stabilised, soon. If you’re pushed for time perhaps you could encourage Mrs G to provide a small fill-in gallery to pad out the videos😊. Thanks for finding the time for the vlog.
Sorry to hear of your struggles of late. You've a pretty good bunch of followers on here if the comments are anything to go by. Don't worry about RU-vid, we'll all be here when you're ready. Perhaps just do some photography for you as and when circumstances allow, there really is no better distraction. Cheers, Adam.
I always enjoy your wonderful videos, so informative and entertaining - sending you all the best and remember to be kind to yourself. Winnie is clearly enjoying herself ! Respect to Mrs G! What a beautiful vision she captured xx
I think we all go through those periods when a family member needs help. It can take a lot of your time, free or otherwise, and it can be emotionally draining. A long dogwalk on the beach is probably just the right therapy for a caregiver! So best wishes for a good resolution. - and let us know when Mrs. G is ready to start her iPhone landscape photography channel!
Sorry to hear about your family medical challenges. Fingers crossed that things go well. Look forward to further videos as and when you can manage them. Best wishes, John.
Hope your "family medical issues " clears up soon. You manage to capture/create some fantastic images from what you've describes as "a flat as pancake light day." The photo @ 10:29 is my fav.. Than for posting, it always a delight seeing your videos!
Hi Dave, you’ve got your priorities right, those of us that value what you do are more than content to wait. You get on and do what needs to be done with our best wishes to you and all those you call your own. I did smile to myself, whinnie the pooch and the blustery day, nice one
Cheers. All the best to you too for 2024. Sorry to be slow replying - family circumstances still an issue. By the way I've been thinking about a visit to Japan. Would be interested in any photo ideas / suggestions. Don't care where - can travel 😊👍
Sorry to hear of your family health problems. I hope things improve for you soon. I’m similarly placed at present and am reduced to photographing flowers and garden birds at the moment , so I understand!
Great to see you out and about Dave aways a treat to watch your video's no matter what the content is, best wishes & I hope your family health issues are resolved.
Nice to see you out and about again David, and hopefully your family medical issues are resolved soon. You have a lovely location there to clear your head, thanks for sharing your walks/musings etc, they're always enjoyable.
Sorrt to hear of your family health problems. Fortunately, you live in the best place on earth. I've walked that beach thousands of times. With my dog Henry.
Glad to see you out and about David. Tell your wife her shot was amazing. You know as well as I do you are not going to get a show stopper everytime you go out. Thanks see you next time.
Family comes first and time is precious. I do miss Snowdonia and the surrounding area. I thought we were visiting in October, but it was changed to Chichester due to weather concerns 😟 🤞🏻soon........maybe. Nice one Matey
It is great to see you out with your dog and your camera. Photography is such a great distraction from everyday problems, if only for a short while. It has been my mainstay during the last 25 years of dealing with my chronic health condition. So good luck with it and good wishes to your family.
Great to see you back David. Hope that things settle down again for you soon, and your relative recovers quickly. Really liked the Mrs G shot at 5:37, and your shot at 10:09. All the best, Phil
It's good to see you out and about Dave. (I felt the fresh air myself whilst watching your video). I thought there might be something happening. I wish you all the best for your family Dave. Some excellent images too. Mrs G. an excellent image I have say, well done. ❤
Great to see a vlog from you again, Mr. G. As per other comments, im sorry to hear of your troubles - and hope theyre resolved sooner rather than later. Mrs. G's shot is a cracker!
Nice video David - Just showing how it is sometimes. Also, just being out even if there are no images is great. Hope the medical issues are sorted out soon. Thank you
Good to see you David, the osmo is very handy for sure and it held up well there! I really liked Mrs. G’s shot and also your own on Winnie with the rainbow !! Hope all goes well with your family ! Mind yourself
Thank you for all your videos, they are so appreciated. The Osmo footage looks good. I do hope that the issues you mention are resolved in a good way. I have been there and know well the pressures. Take care of yourself too, that is so important.
Awesome video and what a beautiful beach. I recently made a video on my channel from a tropical beach and they are so different but equally beautiful. I also use M43. Keep up the good work 👍😀
Sorry to hear things have been challenging of late, I hope you can get things back on track soon. The lovely Mrs G needs her own channel, or at least a critique segment of your images on your channel. Good padding!
Great video! Nice relaxing beach walk. Thank you. OP3 seemed to work well!! Good audio. Were all the video portions on the OP3? Loved the photo from your spouse. Btw your OM5 isn’t on your gear list. Wishing the family health issues all work out well! Always challenging. Positive thoughts your way!
Ah you got me there. I had to check, as I was convinced I'd updated the gear list. And I had! Although there are some more changes I do need to make to it when I get round to it! 😂👍
Wishing you and your family the best. Like always a great video. I do believe the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 has improved the video. Great photos. It looks like your dog was having a great time.
I started with Olympus, and have got all cameras and lences. Still have them. Then I bought all the Cannons, and still have them. Olympus is for hiking. Cannon is for car camping and low light. That is what I have figured out. I tried a mediumformat, buth it's not any better then the new cannon. If it was I would buy it, that's for sure! Walking more than 500 meters, -Olympus! Nice pictures. However, - you shud never let your better half have axess to anything that creats pictures! I know, -hav sutch a wife myselves, and it's horrible! Nice video!💚👍
Hope everything settles for you and your family super fast, I know how hard them times are!! Just watching yours and the pubcast crews videos has been a REAL anchor for me over the last couple of years, and of course meeting you at Llandwyn was a massive boost, so if theres anything I can do help to return the help you've given me (without even knowing it), dont be afraid to shout 👍🏻👍🏻 And Mrs Gs photo is fab, could be a new youtube channel coming up there? Wishing you all, all the very best.
1st watch after coming across the Pubcast. Enjoyed the video, and sorry to hear life is challenging at the moment. I’m predominantly a Canon full frame shooter, but I recently got a Panasonic LUMIX G100 MFT for travel. I have been mightily impressed what it is capable of as a self confessed full frame snob 😂
Lovely video David, I’ve only just come across your channel. I’ll check your other videos out 👍 Hope things pick up for you and your family. You have a new subscriber. Thanks, Steve 😊😊
Hi Stephen, thanks so much for taking a look. I do have one or two videos on the channel of which I'm slightly less embarrassed, although there is plenty to avoid at all costs!! 😁👍
I've noted Aberffraw for a walk hopefully next year, if I get through my triple bypass surgery ok in December. Will take my Leica QP for a spin , looks great, but will have to pick an interesting day. It doesn't take too long, after a cuppa with my daughter in Llandudno. Thanks for the nice vid, Keith (nr. Hawarden)...good luck with the medical stuff.
@@g4okt ,,they sure can, my buddy came back to the office in a few weeks after his multiple bypass. He now take the stairs, a 3 flight walk up! You'll be OK, we the photo community "got your back."
@@RickMentore thanks, I'm also getting support from my ham radio pals in the UK and US, Iwe are well blessed indeed, it's one of the plus points of social media, I hope Dave can get through this stuff ok.
Family first every time Dave, but important too that you are looking after your own health. Thanks for the update and giving me the opportunity to see Aberffraw Beach again. Hats off to Mrs G for her cracking image. If Tom Heaton sees it he'll want to borrow it for his next calendar 😅. Loved your images too Dave. Take care and kind regards - Robin
